Tremendously disappointing!!! This is the worst company I have ever done business with. I paid in advance for work to be done. They appeared to be knowledgeable and able to produce a high quality product, however what they gave me was a rough draft initial concept that was nothing at all like what I had specified and seemed like it was very poorly done. It was pieced together and looked to me as if a child could have done that work and looked very unprofessional. They had told me that I would be able to give feedback and input on what needed to be changed or adjusted. Yet when I gave suggestions to correct the work they kept coming up with more excuses as to why they did not want to complete the project that I had already paid them for, and yet refused to refund my money. They then changed their mind later and said that they would indeed finish the project however they could not guarantee that it would be high quality or that I would like it and that even if it was terrible they would not be refunding my money or correcting it. I sent them even more specifics, just like I had every step of the way in hopes that it would come to a pleasant end and that they would stop giving me the run around and just do the work that I had already paid them for. *They did not end up completing the work, and kept my money with nothing to show for it. They refused to reply to emails. They refused to issue a refund. I hired them feeling very positive and excited about what they could contribute to the look of my business and left with the worst experience I could possibly imagine. I would NOT recommend this business to anyone! I really wanted a high quality professional design and never should have wasted my money here, it would have been much better spent elsewhere. *Edit (After this whole frustrating ordeal and the ridiculous run around they gave me they finally did refund my money) They then told me to remove my review and to never contact them again. I believe that they only did this to get me to remove my review and not out of truly caring to provide a good business model or caring about their customers.

Jennifer created a gorgeous logo for me based off my emails and ideas and I'm so happy. I was under a time crunch to get a graphic created for my wedding favors and asked Jen to squeeze in a rush job for me. She finished it before my deadline and I'm sending it off to the favor vendor right now. I will definitely come back to her for any future graphic needs.

They have created four sites for me, and are talented, professional and dedicated beyond what is usually available. I especially appreciate how available they are whenever I need something. They genuinely care, which feels great, and they take extra time over and above what would be required just to make sure everything is done perfectly. In other words, five stars!

The work was completely unsatisfactory and it seems pretty clear that there is something fundamentally wrong with the owners. I honestly don't think they could convince the Voight-Kampff Machine that they are human as they appear to be missing a key component that most people possess. Call it empathy or basic decency but its just not there. I have never dealt with more unprofessional people in my life and I am baffled at how they can think that threats are a reliable business strategy. Sure some people may give in to bullies but that doesn't mean its a strategy they should use. This strategy may work in LA but in Eugene we expect human decency from our businesses. I would recommend you avoid this company at all costs, and I certainly would never trust them with access to your system. From what I've seen they will likely abuse it if things go wrong.

Jennifer was attentive to my specialized needs as a music instructor. Quickly, she made adjustments to my existing site that made it run very smoothly. Specifically, I wanted a site that could connect me with YouTube, reviews, links to other relevant sites. She was able to provide that in a clear and concise manner. The reason I hired AC, was to have an organization that could do all the confusing behind the scenes actions that create an efficient website. Domain name transfer was one item I knew little about. Jenn worked easily with my previous IT and made all the necessary moves for a smooth transition. My website now "rocks!" My website, as projected, would not be an easy one. So, my colleague (more knowledgeable about the digital world), and I vetted a great many portfolio/ website designers from various parts of the country. Ultimately, we chose Asterix Creative, and it turned out we made not only a good choice, but very likely one of the best we could have. Both Clay Kent, the software engineer, and Jennifer Rybine, the web designer, were not only very professional and very skillful, but took a personal interest in helping me well beyond just the finished site. That is, they gave me advice on how to make the site work. Given that my project was an indie novel (with a serious theme) that much attention to detail was, for me, unexpected. They are not the sort to just finish the job, take the money, and go away. They seemed to take my project personally. Clay and Jennifer continue to support me when I have questions or advice. In my case, that extra beyond-the-call-of-duty help is much appreciated. They are bright, very creative, and . . . good listeners—i.e., willing to learn what you have in mind so they can give you a professional product that will work for you down the line. We discussed the project by email and we met several times face-to-face in the process. It was usually at a coffee shop and ended up being a pleasant experience. It never felt like “just business,” but a human interaction of “We’re in this together to make it happen. “ The price was reasonable too. An easy call for me: 10 out of 10. Dave R.
