I spent $225 to have see.me.kc build me a website. I showed her the template and exactly what I wanted before signing. She said she could do that with no problem. As time progressed she began changing the template and finally she told me she couldn't develop a website as the one I wanted. 2 months later the website is complete. The website is as basic as the $5 one you find on Fiverr. Would not recommend spending this much on a web design, there are so many free designs out there to build your own.
