5 Stars from the Mundelein Park & Recreation District With the advent of mobile devices, a redesign became a necessity. In July of 2014 we hired Invex Design to help us completely rethink our website. We wanted a dynamic site, allowing us to frequently post, add pictures and videos, and link to social media. Now, our patrons can view updates, watch our latest video and check our twitter feed right on the home page. Also, registration and an interactive online brochure is just a click away. In addition, we wanted the interior pages to be more informative and engaging, with slideshows that highlight our parks, events, facilities and programs. Invex delivered on all this and more. Not only did they listen to our needs and deliver, but Invex also came up with creative solutions that enhanced the website use beyond our expectations. One example, is the interactive parks map, allowing the viewer to select a park and see what amenities it offers, or pick an amenity, such as a walking path, and find which parks feature it. Thoughout the whole process, Invex was very prompt and responsive, being sensitive to our deadlines and very helpful as we added more to the website than we initally thought. After the website was complete, Invex continues to provide us with prompt support and solutions to ideas we have to make the website even better. The result is a website that is easy to use, fun and dynamic — providing good reason to visit again and again. We are very pleased with the service we received from Invex and highly recommend them.

We realized our website needed work. While we wanted to maintain the overall look, we also knew it was very difficult to make the changes and improvements that were needed. We were fortunate to find Brian Pohl at Invex. He had some great suggestions about how to make our site easier to work with, and also some new capabilities that would really benefit people interested in using the Illinois Prairie Path. As an example, he built an interactive map of the Path that lets a viewer move through all of its 62 miles, and also zoom in or out of all other intersecting paths in the area. Brian has a lot of enthusiasm for both his web development work and also for outdoor activities like running and biking on the path, so for us, he was a natural to handle our web needs. He gets it.
