I really appreciate the work to help my baby, allowing for questions and concerns. Thx Amy, Kate and Miranda
I love taking my dogs to the Stock Doc. They have always been kind and caring in their treatment of my pets. They really go the extra mile and do truly love what they do. All our thumbs (toes) up!!!
Our dog Bear was hit by a car... We immediately called Miranda she had us bring in Bear, Miranda did everything she could to save her, in the end Bear had to be put down... I am very thankful Miranda took time to see Bear after hours and how caring and gentle, she was to Bear... I 100% recommend The Stock Doc
Cost goes through the roof if you show any interest in saving your pet it was over 3000$ when my wife's lab swallowed a rock.
Wonderful people. Very knowledgeable in what they do very kind at what they do
I really like all the staff at the stock doc! i remember when i first took my cat into them after having her surgery done at another vet. She would not use her litter box and her urine smelled really bad and all the other vet said to do was lock her in a room with her box and leave her. Did no tests or anything and also said that there was not a pain medication for her either when you could tell she was hurting. I took her in and saw Brandy Waheed and she took some urine and came back as a uti/bladder infection and also gave her some meds!! i will not take my animals to another clinic!! They are always there helping and willing to work with people and my cat just loves them!!
I had Dr. Waheed come out to do Coggins tests and health on two barely gentled mustangs. She was amazing. She and Rainey were professional, and experienced, they loved the horses who obviously felt at ease with them! The exams were done with gentle confidence, and the horses never noticed the blood draw. I could not have been more pleased at the wonderful experience they gave these two.
Great people, very knowledgeable, very caring. Give good, clear information on what I need to do get my pet well.
Most caring staff I've ever encountered.
Great people and great doctors
I was born and raised in Lander, WY - 45 minutes away from the Stock Doc. I have always had dogs and cats. I showed sheep and pigs in 4-H for 10 years and FFA for 3. I have had multiple bad experiences with both Lander veterinarian offices (from rude staff to over charging). 4 years ago, I rescued a puppy from a parking lot, which I named Duck. I took him to both veterinarians in Lander, to no avail. They suggested that he had cancer but still required me to send his brain out for rabies testing. When they removed the mass from his abdomen post-mortem, they discovered it was simply an infection and would've been solved by the prescription of a different antibiotic. About a year and a half ago, my border collie, Hallie, got sick. At first, it started with a fever but progressively got worse. I took her into the Stock Doc and her blood work and x-rays were clear but something was obviously wrong. Dr. Amy never faltered - she believed and supported Hallie and I the entire time. We put Hallie on an anti-inflammatory medication and antibiotics. When she wasn't getting better, we ran more tests and more x-rays. We had no idea what was going on - at this point it must have been something with her immune system. She was having a harder time getting up and getting around. Dr. Miranda did an orthopedic assessment on her and she was ultimately diagnosed with auto-mediated polyarthritis. We started her on steroids and she started to get better, SLOWLY. It wasn't going to be an easy fix. When she was in the early stages of her treatment, she was still painful getting up. Instead of going to the bathroom more frequently (due to the increase of water consumption from the steroids) she would just pee on herself. Dr. Amy gave me 3 different shampoos and conditioners to help protect her skin and coat. When she started having bloody noses (which is not normal for dogs) and I drove 85 mph to get her there, they carried her inside. They kept her overnight but let me visit her that evening and morning. She was laying on 2 comforters and a few blankets. They had her tucked in and she looked so happy, at least for being kenneled. She usually isn't. When I thought the time was coming, there were many times, Amy comforted me and told me she was going to be okay. That she believed in me and my ability to care for her. While the cost may be slightly higher, the quality of care is too. I believe whole heartedly that Hallie would not be with me today without the Stock Doc team. If I would have used any other vet, she would've been gone. I am beyond grateful for the Stock Doc. There are no words to describe it!
I have had two major events within a week, as a first time client : one, a life-threatening illness in my son's little dog, that Dr Morgan Toye diagnosed immediately and performed life-saving surgery on the spot. Her skill as a surgeon was amazing, as she allowed me to stay in the OR (as former medical professional in the OR, I was immensely impressed with her technique). Her closure of Josie's incision was of plastic surgery caliber! Then, a week later, I took my beloved Maine Coon cat, Ollver, in, after a sudden, dramatic weight loss. Dr Miranda thought, at first, it could be metabolic (diabetes or thyroid) but an ultra sound revealed the dire truth: a huge tumor had spread rapidly, invading lymph nodes thereby eliminating any thoughts of heroic efforts to save him. Ollie came home to spend one last night with me and the following day we returned to Dr Amy. I cannot adequately express my feelings of gratitude and love for Dr Amy and her compassionate crew. The final journey for Oliver, crossing the Rainbow Bridge was handle with kindness, professionalism and tenderness. Having the whole procedure carefully explained in detail then tenderly carried out was so beautifully executed, I was relieved to know Ollie would no longer suffer. Thank you is just so inadequate but it is all I have- but I do have Ollie's paw prints, taken by Dr Amy before he left us. I will treasure them always. Again, my heartfelt thank you and gratitude to the most amazing crew ever!
Best veterinarians in town!
Did amazing work on my mother in law's dog
Very friendly staff. Extremely caring.
Very grateful for the compassionate care that's been given to my little foster dog. Thank you for going above and beyond for Mr. Pete!
Best vets in Fremont Co. hands down!
Great vets !!!!
They do great work but are twice the price of other vets. Maybe you get what you pay for? I have a dog that another vet recommended putting down and they helped find the right meds that keep her healthy and she's still with us. It was expensive but worth it.
I traveled all the way from Denver, a 6 hr drive, to bring my dog to be seen at The Stock Doc. The vets in Denver wanted to charge me thousands of dollars to treat my dog. I was unable to afford it but he needed immediate attention. The entire staff were friendly, professional and treated my pup like family. I wish there was a vet's office like them in Denver.
Knowledgeable, friendly staff. They know what they are doing, and always have your pet's needs foremost in mind!
Very grateful for having a wonderful staff, that always gives 110% of their time and talent.
The doctors and staff at the Stock Doc are talented, always kind, and always there for my four-legged family! I'm grateful for all of them.
They listened when I explained the medical history of a 21 year old cat and they made adjustments accordingly. Their compassion and professionalism is second to none
Great vets, great people
Amy Stockton was wonderful very caring towards our cat and my Grandkids! She was very professional and knew what to do! Would I go back there yes I would!
Very kind, loving, and caring! Best vet around!
They are excellent veterinarians and are very kind and understanding. Which is why they cost a bit more than other vets, but it is worth it for your pets health.
They have a professional, well-educated staff, and I have always been satisfied with their services. They have the experience and technology to diagnose and treat issues in large and small animals.
After having a very negative experience with another veterinary clinic, The Stock Doc was a breath of fresh air. I brought six puppies in for their first round of vaccinations. First, the receptionist and staff were all very friendly. Next, the nurse that gave them their shots had the patience of a saint, dealing with that amount of puppies in the 7x8 foot room we were in. Lastly, she went through the effort to flag us down for a receipt for each of the puppies as I had told her they were all going to different homes. I was extremely pleased with her extra effort.
I'm not sure where to begin to describe what an incredible job these guys did for my dog Bailey! She was a sick girl and Dr. Stockton and her technician went above and beyond to try and find a diagnosis as well as the absolute best treatment option which was not easy considering we were traveling and just passing through. She has continued to show compassion and dedication to helping my sweet girl even after we had returned to GA
This is a very expensive place to take your pet. There are cheaper places in town. However, you do get what you pay for. The girls are nice and always remember my pups and they seem to care. They do try to sell you expensive products that they endorse and swear by, but in my opinion they are things you don't really need.
Thank you again! I was able to get my senior dog in last minute on a very busy Saturday. It seemed her leg had swollen overnight. After blood work the diagnosis of an infection in her leg; i was given medication and hot pack instructions I feel confident my Nimbus will feel better soon. Thanks Amy and Taeha for your compassion and shared concern. That's what makes you "that vet."
I don't think I've ever had a staff at a vet be as caring as the folks at The Stock Doc. This is evident every time we take our fur babies to be checked out. When we had to make the heartbreaking decision to let our Great Dane go, they were compassionate and caring through the entire process.
I took a lethal white colt, not knowing what that was at time.. she treated it for hours knowing that he wasn’t going to live. She didn’t tell me what that was until after he had passed. This cost me $600 instead of the $100 to just put him down.. I feel that I was taken advantage of .... due to the fact I didn’t know about the lethal white colt syndrome... therefore she took advantage of my vulnerability. And charged me $600 for an animal that she already knew was terminally ill.
I cannot talk enough about how wonderful these folks are! I was in the middle of a family crisis which meant I needed to be in Wyoming for an extended time-- during the trip my dog suddenly got very ill (GVD) and needed emergency surgery-- these women were incredible-- fast, efficient and incredibly kind-- their skills and follow up were very impressive-- I would recommend them to anyone who needs a vet anywhere near Riverton!!!
Great ppl.
These ladies are fantastic. They take great care of my dogs!
Great care of animals.
The most caring vets, they saved my kitty even when there wasn't much hope.
Outrageous prices. False info. Will quote one price and then charge a higher. Denies everything done wrong by them
Cool people. Nice clean facility. Just busy though. You don't wait long, however. You get in and get out pretty quick.
Un lugar muy Vin a tendido
The only ones I trust with my Dog
Have had Amy at Stock Doc as my Vet for over 14 years now. She truly cares about your animal and does whatever is needed for them. She kept my Doberman alive for 2 years more than he should have had by her intense care. Would highly recommend to anyone as the best vet I have ever had with my 28 dogs of experience in my lifetime.
Took great care of our dog when she was bitten by another dog. Very caring and professional!
Great service, the ladies at the front were very nice.
These wonderful folks are compassionate and dedicated.
I wanted to say that the doctors - all four of them- have been above-and-beyond in their open-minded acceptance of my input, as someone not on staff, in their mission to get their patients better. They have all made direct referrals to me with no thought of competiveness, only of the well-being of their patients. I thank Dr's Stockton, Townsend, Waheed, and Toye for their professionalism, humility, and trust. I give this team of four 4 stars. Tempted to give them one more, but this way I keep 'em hungry! Lee Lofgren, DC
The vets and staff are friendly, professional, and available for any questions or concerns. Even on weekends!
Good quality veteranary work, but extremely expensive and they always want you to run a million tests.
