The receptionists, technicians and doctors are all a very knowledgeable and extremely professional staff. The hospital is also a very clean place that has updated/ new technology to provide for better patient care. I took my dogs in on Sunday. It’s so great they are available on the weekends for appointments. It makes it easier for me, knowing I don’t have to take time off of work for normal visits. The staff is always accommodating and everything has always ran smoothly for us. Keep up the great work!

Horrible service , rude people.... charged me 78 to see a kitten.... when there web site says first exam free..... then they said first thing your kitten must have parvo .... but she had none of the signs.... what I needed then to look at was the bite under arm.... we never even saw a doctor just one receptionist and one nurse ... who was quick and didn't care even left the dirty thermometer on the table after putting in the kittens butt..... dont go there ....

Fantastic experience with lots of pre-op care to ensure it was safe for our girl to go under anesthesia. We are members of the care plan and it has paid for itself in just two visits, and we get unlimited office visits and monthly nail trims on top of everything else. Great clinic, highly recommend.

He will get on the floor with her and sit and talk to me about options etc for as long as it takes for me to make the best decisions for my fur babies care. Dr. Gotfredson and his staff were amazing for our Belgian Malinois's, Ada, hysterectomy. This isn't your typical spay procedure either. I had and still have complete trust in Dr. Gotfredson's ability and knowledge in veterinary medicine. Everyone at Red Hills Veterinary Hospital stays up to date and informed on the latest veterinary techniques and procedures. For instance, we elected laser surgery for Ada because of the quicker recovery time, less risk of infection, less pain to name a few of the benefits. Also, Ada's surgery incision is very small thanks to Dr. Gotfredson. Without a shadow of a doubt, Dr. Gotfredson is the best veterinary surgeon in the area.

I brought my GSD to the vet last night. I made sure to explain over the phone that she is not at all other dog friendly and that she can get aggressive. They helped me choose a calmer time and day to bring her in and they included notes so that the check in team would put us in a room right away. All went smoothly and she did a great job! The vet and techs were great and she appreciated the treats. They also called the next day to make sure she was doing okay after her shot. A++ for sure!

We had an emergency as they was getting ready to close. Our kitten (Kitty) was attacked by a Pitbull. He had a broken and dislocated leg. He had to have surgery. Sadly his leg had to be amputated. I absolutely love this veterinary office. Veterinary Care is very expensive anywhere you go but at Red Hills I feel like I'm getting more for my money. The staff is always so friendly and courteous and the doctors are extremely knowledgeable and skilled at what they do. I haven’t lived in Gillette for almost ten years, but would almost move back just for this veterinary office! Dr. Sourwine, the lady tech and the front desk staff were each extremely kind and absolutely impeccable! My working Wirehaired Pointer received amazing care and gentle treatment for a toe injury- and the low cost blew my socks off! (I NEVER see these low costs anywhere except my excellent rural vet in Egbert) I currently operate in Cheyenne, but we will definitely be making future appointments with Red Hills. Top notch veterinary care, phenomenal bedside manner, very willing to answer and explain everything, and make you and your dog feel at ease and comfortable. We came in on short emergency notice also- I cannot express how much relief it is to find and work with such a down to earth, very competent, warmly communicative and highly ethical veterinarian.

Inconvenient that they don’t have a payment plan for expensive emergency visits and payment is required at the time of service. It was worth every penny in the long run!

We only went to this clinic because our usual vet was closed because of it being Sunday afternoon. We called and made an appointment ahead of bringing our dog in and we were able to be squeezed in. Staff were very friendly but we drove two hours just to be quoted over $550 dollars to have less than 30 porcupine quills pulled, that was with the over night stay fee waived. The prices are absolutely outrageous; they tried sell us services and medications that weren’t necessary at very inflated prices. There’s no reason that putting a dog under for twenty minutes and grabbing a pair of Kelly forceps should be that pricey. After reading other reviewers it seems like this clinic is money hungry. We ended up just waiting until Monday morning to have the same procedure done locally in rural Montana for less than $140.

I do really like Dr Sowerwine, but it's getti g to the point that I can't even afford to take my pets in. It used to be the best place in Gillette because not only did they care about your pet, they were affordable; now they're not much different from AMC. It really is a shame. Over $300 in one weeks time for ear infection is just crazy.

Dr. G is an incredibly skilled surgeon who charges very low rates for his quality of service. If any of our dogs ever require surgery, we would fly them out to his clinic with no hesitation, as he is the best surgeon we’ve worked with. I can give no higher praises. Dr. G performed a hysterectomy, or partial spay, on our search and rescue dog, a 2 year old female Belgian Malinois. I am a doctor and my wife is a veterinary technician, and we both agree that this was hands down the best surgical procedure either of us have seen. The surgery was performed using a laser for a minimal additional cost. The incision area was kept under 3 cm and closed with incredible skill and precision, normally seen only at the hands of an adept plastic surgeon. There is little drainage at the incision, very little swelling, and mild firmness, suggesting very minimal internal bleeding. This surgery cost us about 15% of what we would expect. I would not be surprised if Dr. G’s practice grows into a veterinary surgical hub for the entire region. My wife and I have never been so impressed, and less than a week later, our service dog is incredibly alert, responsive, and athletic, showing no signs of discomfort throughout the day.

I was driving from Wisconsin to California when I saw my chocolate lab had blood in his urine. The front desk staff was fantastic when I called in the evening (yes, they were open) and fit him in the morning to accommodate my travel timing. Again. I was greeted warmly in the morning. The vet tech and vet were wonderful... clearly love what they do and not only confirmed a UTI but also discovered an ear infection. The reviews were right on. If I need a vet while doing this trip again, I know where to stop in.
