G Bar G cares about all of their clients, but more about the client's animals

Great vet services. The veterinarian is fantastic, loved by both humans and pets. Rest of staff are great with pets, however in our experience they could be a little more focused on customer service. Have often felt ignored in waiting room, not greeted, or left with no information wondering what's going on. Will continue to go back for good pet service though.

of course not happy that my old cat and I are here, but the girls were more then attentive and very thorough, my old boy means lots to me and I was a bit harsh to them , and they were caring and understanding despite my attitude. thankyou very much. JESS HOUSE

Terrible experience. They were unorganized and didn't even have the capacity to take note of which cat was mine at the end of the day. I had to go back and identify my cat among other cats. Go to Lander Valley Animal Hospital, don't waste your money or energy here.

Last time I came here I was 7 and my guinea pig was dying. Because my parents were native and viewed as incompetent they led me and my parents into a room. There they wagged a finger at us for thirty minutes about the diet of a guinea pig, then rather more accusatory then was necessary, told us it was our fault that the guinea pig had to be put down, I don't care how true that was, I was seven and made an honest mistake. The way the message was delivered impacted me with a large amount of guilt. Then the woman put my twitching pet into my arms and put it to sleep then left the room. I never want to come here again. The only lesson they taught me was how truly biased Riverton is.

I am very dissatisfied with this place. They took my sister's dog away from my mom who was taking care of him and said that he was mistreated and abused. He is not mistreated or abused. He is a healthy dog that just needed to be neutered. They forcefully took him and then continued to yell at my mom. I would not recommend this vet service

Dr. Gunda Gamble saved my neurotic, traumatized, dehydrated cats on our trip to Jackson. We received wonderful, really first-rate emergency care in her clinic. I would consider driving to Riverton from Cheyenne only the cats would not like the drive much.

I could not be less satisfied with this place if I tried. The first time I brought my dog in, they told me she tested positive for parvo and would be dead within an hour, then had the nerve to say, "you do realize when she dies you'll still have to pay the bill, right?"

If it was possible to give negative stars I would. My negative experience with G Bar G started with my first phone call. The receptionist was cranky, rude and made me feel like I was a total inconvenience. But, I thought it is just her so I didn't make assumptions and brought my animal in to be seen. When I walked in, the receptions greeted me with the same iciness as she had on the phone and then ignored me. A vet tech came in and took information (she was very nice) and then left. No one told me anything, just left me standing there awkwardly. In the meantime, Glen came in and talked to the receptionist (did not acknowledge my presence). He and the receptionist talked about other customers like I was not there. THEY TALK ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS VERY RUDELY AND DO NOT CARE WHO OVER HEARS IT. One thing he said to the receptionist was , "Should I tell them (customer) like it is, that their animal just needs a bullet?" and also how annoyed they were that a customer called in crying about her animal. At this point, I walked out. I was standing there for at least 10-15 minutes listening to all of this. THEN, Glen did come out to look at my animal. He was rude to my daughter, rough with my animal, and proceeded to lecture us about the animal. He did not give us care instructions for the procedure done to my animal and when I asked the vet tech to ask him he didn't have anything to say other than to worm the animal -which had already been wormed. I am very disappointed and angry about the treatment here. BE WARNED, at the very least- they do not appreciate your business and will talk badly about you after you leave. The vet techs/assistants were the only ones who were kind and friendly. Needless to say, I will not be giving them anymore business and will tell anyone I know looking for a vet to go anywhere else.

Dr Gunda is professional as well as personable, sincere & extremely hard working! People & pets were in & out continously however she took time to meet & greet all. Felt like I was part of the family. And her surgical skills on our animals were percision! All healing without complication. Thank you all at G Bar G!

Despite the numerous stories I'd heard about these guys being rude and insensitive I called today and had my first interaction with someone who answered the phone. I would have felt pretty awful if I were someone with a sick animal and had spoken with this woman. The tone of her voice was was so overwhelming rude after I had made a point to be as nice as possible. In 3 sentences she made me feel horribly inconvenient for calling. As someone who works in a hospital with patient interaction on a daily basis, I feel bad for anyone trying to find someone with compassion for their animals at this facility.

Glen and Gwenda are EXCELLENT, down to earth, veterinarians! They know their stuff, they are extremely fair($), reasonable, and helpful, and they've saved my dog's life. Best vets in town! From my experience, they specialize in farm/working animals, and in family pets. On a side note, i just looked at some of negative reviews, and i'll just say that I've NEVER been treated unprofessionally, or seen anyone while i was there treated unprofessionally or in a bad way.

They are very knowledgeable and always take on what I bring in or they come to my place if I can't transfer. They also don't sugarcoat anything and always let you know what to expect. I have been a customer of their's since they first opened up and they are my preferred vet. This isn't by any means saying any of the other vets are not capable, because I have pretty much seen all of them at one time or another previous to G Bar G opening or when Gamble's have been on vacation or unavailable - I just prefer Gamble's.

This vet is very rude. I took my dog in there because he was dying and the person starts raising his voise at me telling me he told me to bring me dog and get him shots many times. I have not once taken my dog to this vet. Calls me at 9:30 at night and starts yelling at me because my dog woke up out of his haze and almost bit him he yelled at me for 15 minutes on the phone. I will never be going here again
