We recently moved to Casper from another state and were dealing with some health issues for our 12 year old dachshund. Dr. Fairbanks and the staff at CAMC have been so incredibly thorough and helpful taking care of Hannah! They recognize us when we come in the door and I can tell that the staff and doctors remember what we are dealing with every time we stop by. I wish I didn't HAVE to see them so much, but they have made this whole experience much easier. We get phone calls from the doctor to check on her progress. The communication has been really excellent. I would recommend them to anyone!

As a warning most of the vets here are bunny huggers. And dont like hunting dogs. There are better vets that will work with you on payments. And are cheaper in price. You bring your animal in and they treat you like you are the abuser even if your pet got out and hit by a car etc. You will always be in the wrong with these people. Use caution with these vets. Only use as last resort.

We haden't been here with our dogs b/c we had heard about how expensive they were. We had gone here previously b/c they were the only vet in town that would see my hedgehog. They were good with my hedgehog but when I called to cancel my appointment for her to be put down bc she died in her sleep a few days before they must not have noted it b/c they called to ask why I missed my appointment, and I had to explain, again, that my hedgehog had passed away. But since we have a family member that works here now we thought we should give them a try with our dogs. The office staff was very nice, and so was the tech and doctor. They were good with my dog and were knowledgeable about what her problem was and what surgery would be needed to fix it. I had planed on having the surgery done here until I got the estimate. I was quoted almost $700 for a 15-20 minute surgery. Don't get me wrong I love my dog and I have no problem paying for her to have the procedure that she needs, but I found this to be quite an exorbitant amount of money. At this price I could drive 550 miles to our previous vet, have the procedure done and drive back for less than the estimate I was given. As I said, everyone was very nice, and if you can afford their extremely high prices by all means go to them, they are kind an knowledgeable. I however can not afford the inflated costs here and will be taking all 8 of my animals elsewhere from now on, despite the fact that a family member works here.

I can not express how much I think of the Dr's and staff at Casper Animal Medical Center. I have been taking my "kids" there for years. Everyone truly cares about all the animals, and they are all so nice and knowledgeable. If I have to leave my pets, I would not leave them anywhere else. I know that they will always receive the best care, whether it is a routine visit, being boarded or an emergency. I wont go anywhere else, and I am truly grateful for Dr. Bell, Heather, Sarah and all the other wonderful people there.

I am very pleased with the doctors at the CAMC. I have met with all of the veternarians at one time or another. They have treated my pets and me with a great deal of respect. My cat was especially treated well and her nervousness of urinating in her travel box was treated as a normal occurrence. That especially made me feel good. When my dog had an emergency with pancreatitis he was treated with speed and accepted what I said that he was a sick dog. They are a bit expensive but I am getting great care.

Did not seem really caring for my dog. He was big and scared and they weren't very gentle toward him. Not to mention that their checkout desk is RIGHT IN FRONT of an exam room. I was checking out with my dog, when another customer opened the door to the exam room, right behind us. I didn't see him, and my dog jumped right up to see him because he was holding his dog. Neither myself, nor the other owner were very happy. For just having completed a huge remodel, I can't believe they wouldn't have thought to keep checkout desk away from exam room exits. It could have been a much worse situation.

We use them for all our vet needs, affordable and efficient. When we do board our dog across the lot at Sunrise, or have him at daycare, they will walk the dog over to get any updated medical vaccines, I don't need to come in and do all of that ahead of time. We live up on the Mt so its very convenient to get to them on Wyoming Blvd.

I then adopted a giant dog, and they don't mind when she runs off with a toy or two that are within her reach EVERY time we go there. It's hard to find people that really care.....and they do.

We recently changed to Casper Animal Medical Center from a much more expensive vet's office who gave us flack about opting to spay and declaw our cats separately (due to high cost of the procedure). Not only was the experience more pleasant - the staff is all very friendly and caring, but the cost is fantastic. I can't say enough great things about this place. I was able to get the cats spayed and the dog neutered, microchipped, blood work done, and shots all the way around for just a bit over $700.00 - which was the base price quoted just for the two cats to get spayed (no shots and not including the dog's costs) at the other place. The vet called after the surgeries to let me know how the animals were doing and even asked permission to give more pain killers to them to help ease their pain, which was amazing. And then when the dog wouldn't leave his alone afterward, we were able to get in right away to have him checked out. I can safely say that I will not be changing vets any more after the service received at Casper Animal Medical Center.

This Clinic has Vet techs do the work that Doctors should do and you pay Doctor prices. Many male practice issues, If you think your getting top quality serve you are foolish. Don't be fooled bye big buildings. Over priced and your animal gets under served. Gale is only about making money not helping your pet. There are many great Vets in Casper this is not one. If you care about your animal go else where.

I hadn't been a client there, but when I called them on a Saturday around noon and expressed my concern for my cat's symptoms they took me in right away! The vet was really nice and cared about the health and safety of my cat. She was very informative and explained what was wrong with Zero, my cat, very well. She took really good care of him and made sure that he was doing well and that he was recovered enough to go home. Due to my cat's illness he was borded for the weekend and it was only $20 a day, which i think is a great price! Thank you Casper Animal Medical Center! You were very helpful and very nice to be around!

Overall happy with the experience. Two things I really didn't like: 1) The vet basically tried to guilt me and tell me that by not getting my Golden Retriever fixed, I was basically giving her cancer. Maisy is from hunting and show winning lineage and we fully intend to breed her responsibly, so I didn't appreciate the attempt to guilt trip me. 2) They repeatedly tried to push their very expensive care plan on me. That got old fast. It's not a cost effective plan - it essentially locks you in to pay for "what ifs" while offering nothing in the event that your pet needs serious care - like if you were to give her cancer by not paying the vet for an expensive and unwanted surgery... If it weren't for these two items I'd have left a 5 star review and had a totally positive experience, so if these things don't bother you, then by all means CAMC is a great place to seek top quality care and service for your pet. If you have deep pockets and plan on fixing your pet, this place has a very friendly staff and a very nice facility.

I have taken my two dogs to Casper Animal Medical since they were both 8 weeks old (and they are now 3!) We did the puppy package and it was such an awesome deal that they offered with spay/neuter, a number of exam appointments, and puppy shots for a price that they let me make monthly payments on! They have always been available for me for emergency services, help over the phone, or they try to get my pups in as soon as they possibly can. The reminders are awesome so that I know when they need boosters or exams, and I would recommend their services to any friends and family.

I don't go to a person Dr. looking for the cheapest price like some. I don't go to the VET looking for the cheapest price like some. I have always been treated like a VIP I have always been given the best care. and my dogs have all been spayed or neutered there on the puppy package for a good price. I also had a surgery on my oldest dog who came out happy and felt great. they also were very caring and sent me a sorrow card signed by everyone when my shiba inu got hit and brought in. they are the best and most professional vet from the doctors to the ladies at the front desk.

I only used this once so far. I will be back. Several reviews have said that this place is kind of pushy. Either they have changed or the vet I got wasn't. In fact the vet made some suggestions and let me decide. My pet had a problem and the vet suggested trying something cheaper first and it worked. Staff was very friendly and I am perfectly satisfied with the treatment my pet recieved.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. This vet clinic only cares about the money they dont care about your pets, not compassionate or understanding whatsoever. My 4 month old American Staffordshire terrier Roxy recently broke her leg and they casted her, within 24 hours the cast slipped off her leg like it wasn't sized to conform her leg. They are not easy to work with. They want to charge me an extra $300 on top of the $450 I already have to pay them, they basically put the blame on me for her cast slipping off her leg. Just cant wrap my mind around how in the hell a cast just slips off a puppy's leg within 24 hours with her being under supervision and doing what any normal dog would do like sitting, standing or laying down. Will never go to them ever again.

I love the fact that they are always there when they are needed. Staying late on a Saturday because I called & needed them to check out one of my pups. The willingness to help over the phone with simple questions. Working with you when you have an overactive dog that needs to keep a split on her leg, the vets went a little further and found something that worked instead of just telling me to do my best my best to keep the dog still & quite (not easy to do with a 5 month old German Shepherd). I started using Casper Animal Medical Center because it was close to where I live, but now I wouldn't trust my pets to anybody else.
