We had our first appointment earlier this month and let me tell you Dr. Noah Arnold was the best. Not only did he treat my dog really well, but he gave me the time and language to understand what was exactly going on. Throughout our visit he would make a list of the medication and vaccine options along with the price. He did not make me feel pressured to go one way or the other but gave really straight forward and sound advice that was best for my dog and my bank account. It was worth the 30 minute drive! My dog who suffered from seasonal allergies is back to normal! The medication he put her on was much better than the year before which kind of just knocked her out. Would highly recommend!

I Saw Dr. Noah Arnold today at mequon-thiensville small animal clinic today, and I was/am so impressed with him! He came in, sat ON THE FLOOR with my dog, was like the dog whisperer because he was so well behaived! Dr. Arnold was so honest and understanding and took the time to educate me on all things involving my dogs health and didn't make me feel like I should already know this stuff nor did he make me feel pressured to purchase everything today and worked around my budget. I have been going to the clinic for 31 years. They have taken care of a Yorkie, a Lab, a Frenchie, a hound mix and an Irish Wolfhound mix with an occasional visit by my daughters visiting Berner. Numerous foster kittens have also dropped in for help. I have seen many of the vets over the many years, All of them truly caring, professional and very knowledgeable. The staff is outstanding, they listen carefully and are an excellent first source of help. I have recommended this clinic highly to many friends over the years, and always have been thanked warmly.

We loved our first visit to Dr. Noah! When he walked in the room, our puppy was a little bit nervous, but Dr. Noah sat right on the floor and played with him until he calmed down. Rather than examining him in a traditional sense, Dr. Noah played with our puppy and did the exam at the same time so puppy wasn't scared! Because this is our first puppy, my fiancée and I had a lot of questions. Dr. Noah answered all our questions and really set our minds at ease, assuring us that our little guy was perfectly healthy. At the end of the appointment, Dr. Noah gave us his card and said to call if we had any questions at all. We are so grateful to everyone at the Thiensville-Mequon Small Animal Clinic for making our first vet visit with our first puppy such a wonderful experience!

We are new to the area and took our Gracie and Harley in for their vaccines, nail trim and to discuss options for aggressiveness in Harley with the other cats. Not only did the staff spend a lot of extra time with both cats but the doctor even addressed an ear infection and took immediate action to help. I didn’t even know....and to think that my cat is pain free because of her attention is well worth their prices. The staff even washed up Gracie and cleaned her kennel for me when her nerves got the best of her in the car before arriving. The exam room had special pheromones to help calm the cats during their visit and it was a blessing to have them so calm and relaxed and Gracie didn’t get sick in the car on the way home. This was not a quick visit and we spent hundreds of dollars on everything they needed but I feel that every penny was worth the care they both received and will surely be taking our other 3 for future check ups and grooming needs. There are not a lot of places willing to groom a cat and this vet specifically was referred to me by a local pet store.

This clinic has helped my pet and my grandchildren's. When a granddaugthers gerbil was dying the helped her understand the situation with kindness. They also save her cat Angel who would have died without their care. We have adopted a two year old greyhound and they have provided excellent care. Dr. Stencil has kept him healthy through toe infections and teeth cleaning. Jim Martin has been like an Uncle to Billy. He is always cheerful and will help you with everything as well as bringing food to your car. Everyone there are a joy to work with.

Every time I take my Boxer and Boston Terrier in to see the Staff at Thiensville-Mequon Small Animal Clinic, not only am I happy, but they are too! It seems that ALL of the staff are true animal lovers. This is reflective in that when we go to our appointments, they aren't afraid to go! Not only that, but they are quick to diagnose and treat problems. In an urgent situation, I was able to get help right away. I can't ask any more of Dr Brody than what she can do, but she has proved to do a lot! We appreciate the care and competence she and her Staff give to our "babies".

We have used them since 1979. My dog, Kelev lived until 9 years, Pouilly 18, and Remy 15. Now we have Cosmo and Gizmo both 10. They have given our dogs wonderful care. When Gizmo was seriously ill, Dr. Boyner was on call all night. The next day one of the techs sat in the cage with her to keep her company. Cosmo hurt his leg and they put a blue bandage with a big Pink heart. They are not just in and out. They are excellent compassionate doctors with a terrific staff. I would never go anywhere else.

In 1995 when we got our little dachshund puppy Shylock, a friend recommended Thiensville-Mequon SAC as the clinic to take him to for all his needs. Through his nearly 16 years he had many little needs and four years before he died he was diagnosed with cancer. Through the years the care Shylock received from the clinic and Dr. Carlson was wonderful and caring!! So when Klaus our next dachshund puppy became part of our "pack" there was no question as to where we would take him for all his needs.

We have been seeing Dr. Mitchell for more than 13 years. She is a super caring and compassionate vet, who always takes the time to answer our many, many questions. She is also reasonable, not recommending the "nth degree" when it won't benefit our pet. Our geriatric dog has been receiving laser therapy for her hips for about a year, and it has definitely improved the quality of her life this past year. The therapy is mostly done by Sarah, who also seems genuinely concerned with our old girl. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. We are definitely glad we found the T-M Small Animal Clinic, and especially Dr. Mitchell!

Doctor Noah has truly been a God-send to both of our Yorkshires. His compassion and wisdom reached far beyond our expectations. We honestly felt we were taking our pet to the office for the last time. Dr. Arnold appeared to work a miracle by sedating her for 17 teeth extractions. She is almost 17 years old and other attempts revealed that her b.p. sunk too low. We will be forever grateful giving her back to us. She appears to be the happiest ever. Dr. Noah also introduced us to laser treatments for her patella problems. These are allowing her to walk successfully rather then us being her wheelchair. Before meeting Dr. Arnold, I just resigned myself to the fact that going to the vet would be a dreaded experience for my dog and me. With Dr. Arnold, everything changed. Our dog loves him and so do we. Not only does he get down on the floor where the dog is most comfortable, but he pets him and greets him like a long lost friend. I sincerely appreciate Dr. Arnold's easy-to-understand explanations for treatments and procedures, not just the what, but the why (all while my 35 lb dog lounges in his lap). I never get the impression he is selling us something we don't need, and he has alternatives ready if he senses we're not enthusiastic about a specific treatment. We don't live anywhere near the clinic but it is worth the drive for the great service from the whole staff and the caring treatment of our furriest family member.

I have been using the grooming facilities and the docs at T-M SAC for more than 20 years and have never had a problem. They are very professional and offer you a shoulder to cry on when necessary. The grooming facilities are second to none! Meredith and Amy ROCK! I have a Siberian Husky that I take to them for grooming every 5-6 weeks. He goes in looking like a shabby street urchin and comes out looking (and smelling, I might add!!) like a rock star :-) Keep up the great work. You're all an asset to the community!

We've been taking our family dog to Thiensville-Mequon Small Animal Clinic for many years. Dr. Stencel is our dog's primary veterinarian, but we have had visits with the other vets on staff at the clinic as well. All of the veterinarians are top notch. Dr. Stencel has been so wonderful to our dog. She is patient and thorough. It is clear that she is very clinically competent and keeps up with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine. She is quite knowledgeable and takes the time to explain what she is doing and what treatment options are available for any conditions that our dog has had over the years. She is always up front with treatment and medication costs and will recommend lower-cost alternatives to treatment if any are effective and available. If we have any questions or concerns, the clinic staff is always helpful and responds promptly to us by phone. Often, Dr. Stencel will call us to follow-up and advise us if we have any issues. Our dog is now nearly 17.5 years old, and we attribute her longevity and quality of life to Dr. Stencel's excellent care. In addition to the medical services at the clinic, we have also had our dog groomed and boarded here and can recommend those services very highly as well. If you are looking for a veterinary practice for your pet, I highly recommend Dr. Stencel and her colleagues at this clinic.

I recently rescued 2 senior special needs Cavalier King Charles Spaniels from CRUSA. Their names are Clarence & Devon. I needed to get Clarence in within a week to refill his medications. Thiensvilee-Mequon Small Animal Clinic welcomed us with open arms and got us in within days to see Dr. Brody. She was kind and gentle with my old guy. We had some test results that needed to be rechecked and she immediately got us in. No one at this clinic knew us but they treated us as if they'd known us forever! The doctors are great and compassionate. The administrative staff is horrid. If you have an emergency they can never get ahold of doctors. They can't do timely call backs. They can't call Pet Pharmacies in a timely matter. You will wait for hours and have to call them back to remind them of their jobs. It's crazy. What fixes this? Office manager training? A new organizational system? There needs to be something implemented to speed up and make staff more efficient and effective. By the way, my vet is Noah Arnold. I'll put up with the unorganized staff as long as Dr Arnold is a resident vet. He's that GREAT.

We have been with this clinic since 1987 starting with our cats. With the wonderful care under Dr. Carlson, our cats lived a very long life, 19 and 20 yrs old. Along came our dogs. Between Dr. Carlson and and Dr. Mitchell, we have placed all of our trust in both of them. With two great minds working together, Marley our boxer lived a long life of 14 years. We now have 2 senior dogs under Dr. Mitchell's care, 1 with serious medical issues. She has worked wonders to get Billy the Boxer chronic issues under control and we will always be grateful for her services.

I love Thiensville-Mequon Small Animal Clinic! I moved to Wisconsin several years ago and finding a clinic to care for my animals was a huge priority. I was so grateful to find the clinic! Dr. Stencel is my primary doctor and she is wonderful. She is kind, patient and very thorough with checking my dogs and then explaining her diagnosis to me. I have seen the other doctor's in the clinic when Dr. Stencil is unavailable and they are also wonderful. I never have to worry about my dogs receiving the best care possible at Thiensville-Mequon Clinic. The staff at the clinic are also great. My normally cautious cat was very comfortable and didn't even flinch when he got his vaccines. Some vets just give instructions on food and care, Dr. Arnold educated me on why he thought his suggestions would be positive for my cat. I was referred to TMSAC by a friend. My Dachshund, Tchotchke, has been a patient of Dr. Stencel's for nearly two years. She's been fantastic as has the entire staff. Everyone is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I am very satisfied with the care that Tchotchke receives here. I have also taken advantage of boarding Tchotchke there a couple of times and have been very happy with that as well. Tchotchke went for his first grooming appointment this week after I became dissatisfied with his previous groomer. Amy did an AMAZING job! She did exactly what I requested, and he never looked better. She also made me aware of the schmutz she had removed from his ears so that I could observe them to make sure they did not become infected. He will definitely be going back!!
