Drs. Malinowski and Keller are two of the most thorough, professional, caring, and knowledgeable veterinarians I’ve ever found. Their service sets the standard by which all others should be measured. I don’t know if it’s possible to find a more devoted, caring vet than Dr. Kalinowski. He has considerable experience, a gentle temperament, and a great mind at puzzling out difficult situations. My cats loved Drs. Kalinowski and Keller, and Dr. Keller was fantastic about giving me care options right up until the end. I have two new cats and have moved 80 minutes away. There are several vets within 15 minutes. But I’m thinking about making the drive; they’re that good. I forgot to mention that their follow up on how your pet is doing is fantastic, and it feels like they are a true partner in my pets’ health care. And somehow, they do all this while providing service at an incredibly reasonable price (in comparison to other vets I’ve seen). Bravo.

They treat ferrets here. Dr. Molly is friendly and knowledgeable. They are very busy , so you do need to call ahead for appointnents, but they do also have an emergency dr. On call. We love them !

We have been going there for close to 20 years and have had 4 dogs vetted there. The care for general exams and vaccinations are good, but getting an appt for an injured dog taking 3+ days is not what I would call good patient care. I realize the place and staff are busy, but what about your patients? Understaffed? May want to do something about that.

All the Vetrinarians are caring and skilled. Our dogs have been treated for a variety of health issues here. In one case they referred us to the U of M - so they want what's best for your pet. Mesaba Animal Hospitals rates are affordable too. Bonus - the staff is friendly and fun. I recommend Mesaba Animal Clinic to everyone.

I was visiting family in the area, but I’m not from around here. My dog had a double ear infection and needed drops. She was miserable and we wouldn’t be home for a couple weeks. Once the clinic knew my name and that I was a new patient- they suddenly were booked all week- even though I called on Monday. Why take my name if you already know you’re booked all week? Apparently they’re only willing to treat dogs they know. Very sad for a clinic.

About 20 years ago my Rottweiler was poisoned with rat poisoning by someone ignorant of the breed. I do not know if the same people work here that used to, but at the time a vet came all the way out to Kelly Lake every day, sometimes more than once, for several days, giving my dog blood transfusions for all of the blood she was hemorrhaging. The vet had Lupus and it was definitely a challenge for her to be covered from head to toe trying to protect herself from the sun while at the same time giving my dog all of the love, attention, and treatment she possible could. This crossed my mind today for some reason and I just wanted to share that even though my Hannah did end up succumbing to the poison, the vet from MAH went far above and beyond what I had ever experienced then or since trying to save her and comfort her. I have recommended and always will recommend MAH for quality care, and I just wanted to extend my thanks for everything you guys did for my pup.
