Dr. Kratt, You are a loving, compassionate veterinarian and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the impeccable care given to our feline baby. You have gone above and beyond, this holiday weekend. My heart swelled when you and your caring assistant rushed to our side, on a Saturday evening. for our sweet cat. Thank you for your love of family and animals.

Have been taking my dogs here for 17 years, first my golden and now my two Belgian mali/gsd mixes. The techs and vets have been extremely good with both breeds. I make the drive from roch Minn to have them stay my vet. Would highly recommend seeing them!

I have had only good experiences with Central Animal Hospital. They are flexible with my work schedule and I can always get my dog in when I need to. Their staff are very friendly and have been really encouraging to me as a first time dog owner. Also, their boarding prices are very reasonable.

Typically double the price than quoted when appointment made and not upfront or informative about it. Very deceiving. I’m finding a different vet.

I've been using this veterinary clinic for several years. Good pet service and they do board animals.

I went here for my cat because he had a double eye infection, they gave me two different types of medication; neither of them worked did everything I was told and plus doing extra things to make sure my kittens eye boogers were always gone and clean. Well lets just say it was $120+ just for a check up and the medicine.. I called them back when I finished all the medication because it didn't work at all and was wondering if they could just switch the medication and of course the girl was giving me the run around and telling me that I would have to pay for him to reexamed again and pay for the medication all over again, not to mention they are the most unhelpful vets ive met, the guy didn't explain anything or the girl, they didn't even give my baby working medication and they are the MOST EXPENSIVE place in this area, $300 to neuter a kitten? ha... I got him his shots, the CORRECT medication, awesome service, caring vets, neutered and everything for $160 at Viroqua Veterinary Center. From my experience I tell everyone not to waste their time or money at this place.

I've been bringing my animals (dogs and cats) here for years for medical care and boarding. I wouldn't take them anywhere else. All the staff, from receptionist, to kennel staff, to vets, are kind, supportive, professional and knowledgeable. I don't have boatloads of money, but it is worth it to me to pay for the highest quality care for my pets.

I'm glad they are helping hurt animals.

For years we have taken our dogs and cats to Central Animal Hospital and all of them have received excellent, compassionate veterinary care. We also have boarded our dogs and cats at CAH knowing that our pets will be well care for in a facility with highly trained veterinarians and veterinary technicians on hand if a medical problem happens to develop.

We recently moved to the area and had this vet service recommended. I was not disappointed. I have 4 older dogs that need a little extra medical attention. I saw Dr. Kimberly Klatt who evaluated 2 of my dogs. Dr. Klatt was very easy to talk to and I felt she listened to all of my concerns. Dr. Klatt was very gentle and thorough with both dogs. Dr. Klatt discovered that Laddie, my 12 year old collie, has lyme’s and anaplasmosis. Dr. Klatt was very knowledgeable about the unique health issues of collies. I will definitely continue using this vet service. P.s. the vet tech was excellent. Thanks, Nancy B.

Always a great experience at Central Animal Hospital! Friendly staff, great facility, and convenient hours. Will never take my pets anywhere else!

Dr. Doug Kratt, I felt was dis-honest to say the least. He made us feel like we needed to come in ASAP which was about an 1.5 hours before normal hours then charged emergency visit for a Cat UTI ($328.31)... Not sure if this is normal practice in the industry but it left us with an unsettling feeling. Oh and he reached out to us Sunday AM, after we called our normal Vet Saturday night, and applied a sublte pressure/fear tactic, how he got the number is suspected parctice as well but for Dr. Krat I guess its nice to have friends...

T Soupy

In my experience, incredibly unprofessional staff who are equally as unfriendly.

Jamie Loss

I had a 14 year old dog with cancer and I needed him put to sleep. I was told that he would need a physical first. I told them that there was no need because I had just had it done at another vet. I felt that this was an added service/cost that I didn't need. They said that they would check to see if this could be bypassed. They never even called me back. We went to another vet and will continue take our other dog there. It's tough enough putting a dog down and this just made it worse.
