Brought my cat in and they did all the necessary vaccines/check up. I paid more out of pocket than it cost me to have my dog fixed at Spirit of 76th in West Allis! Then they told me to bring him in a few weeks later for his booster (also they told me he needs his vaccines yearly and a friend of mine that is a vet said they last 3 years, it's the money they want) little did they tell me that they will also be charging me an extra $30 just to look at him. On top of that they wanted me to buy medicine and cleaner for his ears, another $60. Good thing I denied that because I know they were trying to get more money out of me when you can buy ear cleaning solutions under $10 at the pet store. How I know they ripped me off? Took my cat to another vet and they said his ears are fine. Spirit of 76th in West Allis is better by far. Cheaper, and my dog even likes the people there.

I had to stop in here a couple times due to circumstance. (it was called Tuckaway then) Note: I've only taken a dog here, so I can't speak from experience for cats or other animals. Brought in an elderly dog with a very bad sore on his leg that got infected and progressed so fast that his bone was exposed. The Dr (I'm at a loss for her name) was so caring with genuine sadness and concern for the old guy's leg. She treated him and gave us good instructions for home care in between visits. (it was a long process with bandage changes) Around 2 yrs later he died overnight at an emergency clinic from his advanced cancer. When Alta found out they sent a sincere sympathy card letting us know how much they liked the happy senior.

I got a great referral to come to this vet in particular and I haven't wanted to go to another place once since coming here. They remember my husband, our pets, and myself by name. They let us know when they'll be running specials so we can get discount prices, and the people here actually care about what they do. The place is always clean, we haven't had any bad enounters with other pets, and the vets actually take the time to listen to what's going on with our animal. It's hard to find a place like this in the in city in Milwaukee.

Been going to Alta View Veterinary Clinic since about 1983, with my first cat. Everyone is always compassionate, professional and kind! I wouldn't go anywhere else and highly recommend if you're looking for a great team to take care of your "babies." We have 3 cats right now & had 4 at one time. They've seen us through tough times over the years and we always knew when we hurt, they hurt also. Hat's off to amazing personnel!

Cheap describes the prices, the service, the "bedside doggie" manner, and also the place has no equipment to really perform any major issues a dog may have. The vet I really liked was leaving so I left as well. He was the only reason I went there after adopting my pup. I have not been back since.

My dog developed a mass on her ear and a few other places that required surgery quickly. Dr. Mueller was able to fit her 3 hour surgery in the next day. The doctors appreciated my cost concerns and took a very balanced approach. The vet techs even let me borrow a charging cord for my phone because I needed to keep on top of other family issues.

Alta View gave us a call a week after the incident after getting her records forwarded to them to check in and make sure we knew how to proceed getting our little Sydney's staples removed! My dog and I were new to this little vet after years of travelling and the biggest travel yet on the horizon. Cameron was very reassuring about our journey overseas and Dr Malueg was very knowledgeable about my rescue and his advanced age. The other staff was friendly and the facility was clean. Prices were reasonable there was ample parking. The Alta team managed to keep my dog healthy and take the lead on the (loads of) paperwork needed for international immigration. I highly recommend Alta View.

They took care of my dog when she had a blockage. They gave her fluids and a X-Ray to see where it was and what was causing the blockage. They were extremely nice to me and my puppy, they could tell I was scared for my baby girl and they took me aside and called the Lake Shore Veterinarian Hospital in Glendale to tell them I would be coming in and that my American Bulldog needed an Ultrasound to confirm what they thought was going on and made sure I knew how much I should expect to pay and what will happen when I get there. They even asked if I was okay and that they hope everything goes well for Sloan and good luck to me. I was overall very happy with my visit even in a delicate situation. Thank you all for helping my love get the care she needed that Friday afternoon. I appreciate everything everyone did to help me and Sloan!!

They have all been helpful, kind, understanding, knowledgeable, answer all questions, willing to try and control cost if that is a concern. They also take Care Credit, for help with interest free payments on your bill. It has been a great experience working with Alta View. :)
