It seems to me this place only really cares about the money and not the animal. After several trips to this clinic and some very pricey Bills, our fur baby ended up with an infection. When I called to get her an appointment, they informed me the vet who was taking car of her had left. After spending alot of money, we were just out of luck. our fur baby had to be put to sleep. I later discovered that it was only a temporary fix anyways.

Brittany I am sorry you had a bad experience with your visit last week and am very glad you got your cat taken care of. I hate that we had a miss connect but being accused of being uncaring is not something I take lightly. I was concerned for your cat and wanted to take care of her problem as soon as possible and would have done the surgery that afternoon had she not eaten. As it was I worked her in the next day which would have been my doing this on my lunch. I gave her pain meds because I was concerned for her comfort. It is most important that you feel comfortable with your vet and I was willing to work with you as much as I could on price as I do not set prices here. I apologize if I offended you in any way as that was not my intention. I hope you cat is healing well.

Love the place however the website tells me they are open today. My dog is hurt and I need him checked out. Would like for someone to update hours so I don’t waste my time trying to reach someone that isn’t even open. Very stressful and frustrating.

While the receptionists here have never been exactly polite, and the wait time is usually long, you do receive quality medical care here, and they genuinely care about your pets and domestic animals. They also host a shot clinic on the first Saturday of every month for cheaper rates on routine vaccinations and medications.

A fantastic Vet and great staff members. I had to take my little dog there.He only had a 50/50 chance of living..The vet and staff took great care of him. Took my dog in and they immediately told me that I must have been neglecting her and that she was 'at the end of the road' before running any tests. Made me cry in the waiting area and continued to tell me that there's 'very little chance' she will make it. After keeping her over night my dog, Maggie, was diagnosed with cancer. There was nothing we could do any longer and she was suffering. We had no choice but to have her put down. After, they tried to pressure us into cremation. They later apologized for accusing us of neglect. The way they acted just made the entire situation ten times worse. I will never go back to this vet!

My Charlie went to this clinic when they were on Rt. 60 and we followed them to Merritts Creek. I have always been very pleased with the care and treatment of my baby. His record has "mixed cutie" as his breed. Makes me smile all the time, they are so helpful and kind, happy to see us and ready with a 'good boy' treat to put my dog at ease. Don't let a few fake bad reviews keep you from this lovely center and the great staff.

I had to put my bunny down and nurse Jessica was so compassionate, she even hugged me. Dr. Jessica was very kind during the procedure. The pricing was great. They let you choose to either take your deceased pet home, have it cremated to take the ashes with you, or they do a group cremation and take to a forest (I forget the name) and spread the ashes to help the forest grow, which is what I decided to do. I highly recommend this buisness.

The doctors are always on hand to talk about the condition of your pet and they always call back promptly. The rate for getting work done is reasonable. Highly recommended!

Today I had to put down Princess due to old age. This is the second dog I've had to put down 3 years ago Rocky lost a fight to a buck. I also brought him here. My dogs are so special to me and everyone at Merriyts Creek was exceptional. Today the receptionist turned on a candle as she led us to a room. A note above it stayed if the candle was lite someone was losing a beloved animal. What a beautiful and simply touching act. Thank you again for taking such beautiful care of my Princess and her family.
