DO NOT GO HERE. avoid this place at all costs unless you want your dog severely screwed up. My family dog was fixed here & came home with a giant blood sack as big as a football between his legs. Not only that but bruising up his abdomen as well, they had obviously screwed something up in his surgery. Of course this poor dog is in pain. We were basically told that they can’t or won’t do anything to help him & that all we could do was ice it (as blood is dripping constantly off of this sac). We were told we could drop him off to them to be monitored but that they would charge us for the monitoring when it was their screw up in the first place. He wasn’t prescribed medication or anything to help with this. Their staff is so inattentive & basically a big joke. For a pet “care” professional they seem to not give a damn about the well being of the animals that come into their office. I will never bring any of my pets here again & I suggest no one brings theirs either. Don’t trust them.

Top notch Doctors, Tech's, and office staff. On my last visit Dr. Fraley was able to detect a potentially fatal problem with one of my dogs. He's now on meds and we are working to correct the situation. Drs. Masset and Linner have also provided this same care and compassion. Thanks to everyone for many years of great service.

Dr Fraley diagnosed a stray dog that I took in (and decided to keep) with lyme disease. didn't need antibiotics because he didn't have symptoms. A week later he started limping and not putting pressure on his leg. Called the office to get his meds ordered because that's what he told me to do. Left a message because he was in surgery. Called back again around lunch time and he will still in surgery They assured me I would get a call back. NEVER CALLED. After 2 days i took my dog elsewhere (all pets). It's been almost 2 weeks and they've never bothered to call about my dog. They're awful.

This was my first time at this clinic and I tell you I will never be back. My family had to make the awful decision to put our 15 year dog to sleep. Our appointment was at 5:45. We had to wait almost 2 hours before we were seen. Every time we would ask they just kept saying they didn’t know how much longer it would take. So not only was my family having to wait knowing what was going to happen our poor dog stood the entire time pacing back and forth because she was in to much pain to lay down. She was just so tired and shaking all over. But the people at the front desk didn’t care they were to busy laughing and talking. The vet that we saw was very nice and you could tell cared so much for animals. She is the only reason I am giving this place 2 stars.

I decided to get my 7 month old labradoodle neutered here due to the good reviews, but my experience was very concerning. When I picked up my puppy, he had feces smeared all over his bottom, near his incision. This is a high infection risk and it really makes me wonder about the integrity of the vets and staff who cared for my pet. Very disappointed. I will not be back.

Storytime: our dog was getting neutered, so since they were going to put him under, we decided to get his vaccinations as well. We rescued him from animal control in Upshur/Lewis county, so we got a voucher for 50 dollar off his procedure, and another group Luv4animals pledged 75. He was to receive his puppy shots as well as get a test to see about Lyme. Pup registered as being exposed to Lyme but.not actually have it. So we told them just to do what they needed to do to make him healthy. When we went to pick him up, the vet tells us there was a mixup when doing the vaccines and that she gave him the shot before starting him on antibiotics for a month...which is backwards. She also never informed us that we needed to return in 2 weeks or the shot would be nullified. We assumed that since he was supposed to take the medicine for a month that we would have to come back in 30 days for the booster. Wrong. When we set up the follow up for the booster they tell us this information and thay he has to have the vaccine again, as well as to come back for the booster. Thank God it didnt make him sick...but the point is this. The shot cost us 36 dollars each time, and they charged us for the shot even when they mistakenly injected him, and then didnt tell us to come back for the booster. Our dog visit to get neutered and for all his shots was 270 for the first visit, minus the 125 in vouchers made it 145, and then another 108 for this vaccine they messed up with in the first place. It has been a nightmare since we went, but since he is so big nobody else will take him which gives us no choice. Sorry for the long post but this is to warn you. Make sure you pay attention to what vaccines they give and the timelines because he wasnt even sick with the disease he only showed he was exposed and they got us for almost 250 dollars worth of vaccines and "examination fees" after a 125 dollar voucher off the experience. I am just glad the experience is over until next year when we can hopefully find another vet that will take him.

Receptionist lied to us telling us they saw parrots when they don't, they are a REGULAR VET, not exotic. Other vets will refer you here for exotics, they arent. Idk on the service itself provided.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This is the most unorganized animal clinic I've ever been to. There is always a long wait, no matter what time of the day you're seen, even if it is simply to drop off your pet. I was a vet tech once, and I've never experienced such rude staff to deal with. I have called three times now for a refill on my dog's medications, in which it STILL has not been refilled.

The veterinarians are so good with the animals. My family has rescued numerous animals over the years, but we only choose Audubon if no where else is available. The receptionist is a nightmare. I’ve had several encounters with her and it’s never pleasant. I haven’t gone back since last year when she charged me $7 more (for each) flea treatment I got for that month. She told me that’s what they always charge, but luckily I had my last receipt. I will say, the size of the stick up that woman’s butt is impressive.

Our small puppy ingested a toxic dose of acetaminophen, which was a life or death situation. After calling numerous vet offices in the area and being turned away this was the only place that would see us. Our puppy received immediate attention as soon as we walked in the door even though he wasn't a regular patient. We have gone to the Bridgeport office, which accommodated an emergency on a Friday evening, but we go to Philippi for routine care. We are happy with the facility and the car our dog has received from different staff vets. I appreciate that when we need to see a vet on a weekend, the Bridgeport office is available to us.

These guys are phenomenal. I’ve been taking both of my kittens there since I adopted them 6 months ago and they’ve always take great care of us. It is true that sometimes the wait is long, even with an appointment, but they’re wonderful. Last week an appointment for a prolonged respiratory infection turned into me having to put 1 of my babies down because she was so sick. They were so compassionate and catered to my and her every need. I even called the next day to change what I wanted to do with her (sobbing of course) and not only did they let me change it, but they called me while they were changing her instructions to let me know they were with her and she wasn’t alone. I will never go anywhere else.

I've been bringing pets here for over 10 years. The doctor I really liked is no longer here, and the front desk staff (and one of the vets) have just gotten more and more unpleasant (rude, actually, like you're bothering them) and disorganized. I don't feel that I've gotten comprehensive care for my pets recently without specifically researching and asking on my own, and things have not been well-explained. I've obviously tried to stick it out, but it's time to move on. (As a side note, I asked for vet recommendations on Facebook, and out of the 30 or so responses I got not one person recommended Audubon. But several people told me they would NOT recommend Audobon. That in itself is pretty telling.)

Great vets... but office and appointments are extremely disorganized. Make an appointment you wait way past appointed time always. (6 trips so far.) Come to pick up pet and wait again. After dealing with vets in 5 states, I am positive there has to be a better way to manage this operation, hopefully they can turn it around:-) You may want to engage a workflow system or a consultant.
