I am very particular about my vets. Ive had nothing but bad experiences with vets unnecessarily man-handling my two small (and extremely tame/calm) cats, upcharging/doing things without permission to up the bill, or being incompetent. Apple Tree is the only vet I feel comfortable and trust with my cats. They are friendly, thorough, and cost efficient. Ive never once had a doubt about the cost being reasonable/legit or the quality of care. If ever I need a vet I will go nowhere else!

Stay away. I hate vets that run their business with the old bait and switch mentality. If a service costs a price and you give me that price over the phone then the price should stay the same when I bring my pet in. Don’t add extras or change the price and try to BS me. This is the type of place that will use your love of your pet against you and try to make you feel bad for not paying for every service they try to do. Go somewhere else that actually cares about the pet and not how much they are trying to make.

I have taken my pets to Dr. Inqui and she has been excellent but know that I am having money problems they will not let me post date a check until I get paid in September, is very sad that people can be so inhumane toward deceased pets that they will not help you at all, is all about the almighty dollar. Very disappointed customer.

Friendly vet with a lot of experience. If you are looking for fancy with lots of on site toys for the vet to play with this office isn't for you. If you are looking for a smart solid vet with compassion and the ability to get to the issue/problem/illness and improve the quality of life or cure the illness this is the place. Both the part time an the full time vets are outstanding!

Update: had to leave the practice. My dog had an ear infection on Thursday and they wouldn't see her til Monday. Just dropped over 800 dolalra on preventative care, but when it comes to a 15 min appointment for an established patient they dodnt make time. I left to go to blue ridge vet. I was forced. I really like the place. Good vets and friendly staff. Thanks for keeping my pets healthy. I use them for preventative care and blue ridge vet for emergencies.

My drop off time for a spay was from 8:30 to 9:00. I was coming from our home in Herndon Virginia with a 6 month old puppy in rush hour traffic with appointments stacked through out the day from Winchester to Reston. I arrived at 9:08 due to construction on Rt 9 coupled with the heavy traffic. The vet tech went in the back room to talk with Dr. Inqui and you could hear her under her breath complain about the fact that I was late and complained that she would only have 10 minutes to do the spay and directed the vet tech to reschedule with out once inquiring with me. I simply walked out telling the vet tech we will never be coming back along with a subsequent follow up call. This is how Apple Tree Clinic treats a client that has brought all their animals there for last 10 years. Hillside now has the business. I think it's time for Dr. Inqui to retire.

The vet's attitude was disgusting. The office also looked disgusting on the outside, so I should've known it would have been disgusting on the inside as well! Why on earth would I trust the care of my beloved dog to a vet that says "make an appt if you want to, if you dont, well..." What the heck on earth?! Really I'm supposed to feel comfortable to bring my dog here now to this uncaring person disguised as a vet? I mentioned this to the front office lady and she just laughed and said "haha thats Norma". I was not amused. This office also did a bait and switch with the cost for our requested treatment for our dog. It was a certain amount over the phone and then when I get to the office the cost is now double. Their defense in them doing so was because the doctor may have seen something different during the exam... but how so if the doctor did not do an exam?? My dog wouldnt allow it! The doctor was not able to see anything different to be able to make that judgement. Anyway, all I wanted to do was leave this office but the women there just kept talking their nonsense and some drama unfolded. I do not shy away from exchanging words in my own defense when I know the facts so I stood there. The vet came out wagging her finger and getting loud as if I did something wrong. Disgusting. How is it my fault as the client if I am given incorrect information? This vet needs to get the miscommunication within this office under control. One younger office lady tried to redeem them all by "acting" professional and running her mouth about procedures. Boo. What a joke! Too little too late. Nobody cares anymore. You all done showed your nasty true colors already. Get it right the first time and maybe new clients will trust you. Do not assume people are stupid! The witches at this office finally asked me to leave and gladly I did. DUH its all I wanted to do the whole time! I hope many people think twice before they bring their pets here to this horrible place! Pay more to vets that earn and are worth your trust.

Dr. Hough has been taking care of our pets , both dogs and cats, for over 20 years. We trust her decisions 100%. Our three black labs lived a very long happy life which we contribute to her care and dedication. One lived 13 years ( had cancer), one was 14 years old and our last lab lived 17 years. Our 17 year old had many health issues that without their excellent health care , we know would not have lasted so many long years. She also had to have 2 touchy surgeries that Dr. Hough performed without any problems. We rescue cats and they have taken excellent care of 16 for us. One cat required emergency life threatening surgery that Dr. Hough performed. Without her excellent care and dedication we know our pets would not be as healthy as they are and in no way, would our dogs have lived as long as they did. She is a very no bullcrap , straightforward person who only does what she feels is right. Again, we trust her with our babies 100%. Dr. Hillmann , who fills in for Dr Hough, has our trust also. She is very dedicated, has always taken excellent care of our babies and has also always given the best advice. The staff have always been very helpful and super friendly. They've always went above and beyond, especially in giving us a lot of support when it was time to let our babies go. We'd never take our babies anywhere else. And if there comes a time that we move out of this area, we would travel back here just for their vet care.

If I could give this place a negative star, I would. I recently moved to the area, and dumb enough believed a few good google reviews and decided to take my dogs here. The owner/vet was always so mean/nasty about my dogs weight. Which, im not dumb, I know a fat dog when I see one, my dog is just a bigger dog, hes tall and long. When I started bringing in my puppy who was obviously hyper, as she is a puppy, she seemed annoyed, and literally never moved from her stool to assist her vet techs, like all dogs should be perfectly calm. Recently, we tested my dog for lymes/heartworm to which she told me that my dog was positive for lymes, but no treatment was necessary until he started showing symptoms. A few months later, my dog is in high amounts of pain and limping. I called another vet to get an opinion and they said all dogs, when newly diagnosed should be treated with a course of antibiotics. To even further frustrate the situation, I missed one of my cats appointments by honest mistake, first missed appointment and had received no courtesy call. I asked if that could be waived due to being my only missed appointment and the "Owner" said absolutely not and I would be charged 80$. I then decided between everything that I was going to change vets and asked for vaccine records, and they replied with "Im going to stop you right there, Not until your missed appointment fee is paid." Im so highly disappointed in this place. The owner needs to retire, shes obviously too unhappy & out of shape to continue caring for peoples pets.

Everyone here is incredibly kind and accommodating! When I had to have my dog put to sleep they left us alone in the room with our pup while the anesthetic kicked in and said we could stay as long as we needed to say goodbye. They even sent us a card of condolences after the fact. I’ve also had to take my sister’s dog in who is VERY loud when there are other dogs around. They allowed us to go around into the back room to get the pup into the exam room so we wouldn’t have to get near the other animals. I have so much love and respect for this clinic and everyone working there. After the first time I took my dog here I’ve never gone elsewhere and have even gotten my cousin and mother to start going there as well!

Certain members of the staff of this clinic cate nothing at all for the welfare of the animals that are brought to this facility and accept no responsibility for their actions. All they want is their clients' money. Due to their disregard, our may have lost his life....outcome still to be determined.

I’ve seen Norma multiple times now and the visits are always super efficient. I was checked in, my animal was seen, and cashed out within 15 minutes. Both times I had little to no wait. The care is quality, the visits are quick, and the prices are extremely fair and affordable. Every time she’s given my cat medicine that cleared up her issues quickly, and I haven’t had to go back for another diagnosis. Very experienced and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Appletree!
