We have used Sunrise Vet and Dr. Carol for several years for 3 of our labs and today for our cat. She and the staff are consistently wonderful, kind and reasonably priced. I have recommended them several times. I also appreciated their compassion when the time came to put down our pets.

Incompetent at one's vocation, it may be acceptable in other industries but this veterinarian is unfit to handle animals; which is a glaring problem. If you understand that animals feel and reflect the energy and emotions you send to them then to be quite honest it is really easy to connect with them and help them remain calm in a SCARY AND UNCOMFORTABLE NEW ENVIRONMENT. My two year old boy is scared and sick, the first thing the oldest tech says when she comes out the door and my boy goes up to get to know her is "Oh this one doesn't like me." Which is a STUPID INANE IDEA to establish with an animal, especially one that has no idea why half the people in this strange environment dislike him and won't make simple eye contact to establish a positive connection. I chose this vet establishment because my aunt recommended them, she has a 8 pound Morkie so I doubt they treated her with the same DISRESPECT. I should have read the previous review of this vet because that is exactly how they treated us, if you have a younger large happy-go-lucky dog that loves people DO NOT bring them to this vet, they will judge him or her to be something they are not and they will potentially leave a lasting imprint on your animal! Some of the techs did make him feel a lot more comfortable and I apologize if they end up getting flak for working with jaded dunderheads who would all be better off mistreating their patients in a mortuary.

Lost 2 customers the other day because the worker was holding a customers dog by the collar and not just allowing him to return to the owner after the appointment created panic in the pup and the 1 year old pup decided it's best option is to nip at the one holding him by the neck. The workers decided that this 1yr pup is a threat and reported him for being aggressive.

The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable and treat my dog very well. The Vet sprayed a line of spray cheese on the table and Charlie never felt his two vaccines because he was busy with the cheese. Genius! The prices are very reasonable and I've always been able to make an appointment quickly and when I'm there I never have to wait long. I recommend this business strongly.

I appreciate the recommendations that the crew makes for preventative treatment so we can keep our babies healthy. A nice touch is that, following each visit, I receive a phone call to make sure our pup or kitten is doing well after the visit. The entire crew is very friendly and knowledgeable. Just recently, she has helped us keep two pets comfortable in the end stages of life and we have always appreciated her and her staff's concern. Highly recommended great service without all of the "frills" in decor that you pay dearly for elsewhere.

Loved Dr. Mylus. Needed vet care right after new owner took over. New receptionist would not listen to what we needed and insisted we bring our dog in to be evaluated, then we take him home, then we bring him back for services. This was for a teeth cleaning! Then talking to the vet tech ... wow! She was so condescending and rude, explaining how things work like we are idiots. It was like these people were designed to keep us from talking to the vet! Dr. M kept her doors open, was friendly and accessible — very hands on. New doc is inaccessible and office is closed and so overloaded with bureaucracy that you’re gonna get changed for unnecessary services by rude staff, who are doing most of the work. We won’t be returning.

The first time we went we were taking our cat in because he had an upper respiratory infection. The vet was great. You could tell that she loved animals and that shw knew what she was talking about. She was a little impersonal though. Since then she has retired and Shannon has taken over. We had to bring our cat in again and she was very professional, kind and respectful. Sven seemed very confortable and wasn't afraid to come back for his follow up visit. Everyone there is awesome. They were even able to work us in when they had a tight schedule.

Sunrise is where my fur babies have gone for 11 years. I was scared when it switched owners, we had to take our dog in last week for a cough. They were so awesome with him and loved on him. When they came in to tell us he had lung cancer they were so carrying and you could feel their sympathy. I would recommend anyone and everyone to chose sunrise for their fur babies doctor!
