Second fairly long boarding stay for our schnoodle at Rainier Vet Hospital. I and Augie couldn't be happier. He loves his caregivers at RVH.

Pamela Cage

Caring and great people that have a heart for your pet.Dr's Johnson is on point.much love for the staff.

Alexander Whitney

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Building is a bit run down, but well cared for; apparently they are moving into a newer building soon. Definitely check them out!

Matt Hall

Been bringing my dog Kratos to this establishment for the last 4 years and they always get me in and out promptly, and more importantly, keep Kratos healthy and happy.

Russ Goedde

Constantly friendly as soon as I walk in the door with Riley, and empathetic and caring professionals. I've been going to Rainier for years. Dr Choy is one of the best vets ever!! Thanks so much for taking care of my dog.

Andrea Jennings

Really nice, caring, compassionate people that make it easy to get care for your pet.

Sarah Schacht

Sure, Rainier Vet Hospital doesn't have a posh waiting room. But who cares, when your pet is being treated with the best care in Seattle? And at a very reasonable price, too! I've been coming to this vet clinic with two of my cats over the last 6 years. Before that, I was shelling out WAY too much money on "cat only" vets who just stressed my cat out. This old-school vet clinic is smart, super caring, helpful, and reasonable. It would be a wonderful thing if Rainer could expand new clinics around Seattle so more pets and owners could access their compassionate, down-to-earth care of our animals. PS to cat owners--- bring your cat in a crate because you'll be sharing the waiting room with dogs (but they can move you if need be).

Emily White

I knew I loved this vet when the female doctor kissed my old cat five times on his old head (he is that sort of cat, gentle as they come). She remembered an occasion from more than a year ago when this cat's brother had to be put to sleep. I will always bring my cats here! And very glad they shifted to appointments instead of drop in.

Vinay Datar

Caring and competent

Everyone here is very loving to our cats.

Megan Henderson

Take all my pets here. Reliable, affordable (as affordable as vets can be...), and the service is great.

Aline Firmino

Lovely staff Outside doesn’t look really good until you get in and talk with the staff that for sure love they’re job!

Jennifer DeVore

The best care for my animals. Kitty passed away recently and Dr Cassidy went above and beyond to help them through everything. I now have a new pup and she is getting the best care from the entire staff.

Blaire Harrington

I usually do routine check-ups and vaccinations but a couple of months ago both of my little dogs ate cold medicine. Other emergency vet services where telling me to bring both in ($500), and when I called Rainier Veterinary Clinic they told me to watch them for an hour for certain symptoms. Both ended up fine, and anytime I have an what I think is an emergency I call Rainier Vet first to see if it is. I always get really thorough advice or even the suggestion of going to another recommended vet that takes walk-ins when Rainier is too busy. These folks are top notch professionals!

Jen Olson

I wouldn't take my critters anywhere else. After dealing with boutique clinics for years, I tried Rainier Vet based on some reviews. It's a little out of my way, but for the care that they receive, an Uber ride to and from is well worth it. The prices are right, and they don't try to guilt you into services that seem over the top.

LaRenda Myres

Professional and caring to dogs. I posted about 5 months ago and I was just at Rainier Veterinarian Hospital with my 16 year old ShihTzu . I was so worried because of his age . Economically the vet is i s not expensive compared to places I've been. They are attentive and try and find out what is going with the animal and also gives you the list of what's needed ASAP OR within a couple of days. I've dealt with this vet off and on for at least 25years with a Rottweiler that the mailman poisoned. So compared to the MONEY MAKING VETERINARIAN HOSPITALS I PERSONALLY HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS. I DON'T DO REVIEWS BUT WHERE SOMEONE PROFESSIONALLY AND PERSONALLY DESERVE ONE I'LL GIVE THEM A REVIEW. SO YES I WOULD TRY THEM OUT !

Sandeep Khot

I've been taking our lab there for years and have always appreciated their kind and caring demeanor. Most recently, our dog saw Dr. Beestman who was very thorough and did an excellent job of explaining his treatments and upcoming care. As important, I feel, is that the vets at this facility don't try to push unnecessary tests or treatments and are aware of potential financial limitations of their patrons. I would not take our dog anywhere else!

Susan Kernes

I've been visiting the hospital for a little more than 3 years and have always felt I was placing my cat in caring and knowledgeable hands. I would recommend this veterinary hospital to anyone who asks.

Josh Sosnow

I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Dr. Nicholson. I consider my two dogs, Linus and Rosie, to be every bit a part of my family and want the best care for them. Dr. Nicholson exceeded my expectations in every way and I can assure you that the quality of care your pets will receive is second to none!

Sean

These wonderful people always provide us with the best care when we need it. I have a special needs dog and they're always very patient with her and courteous to me. I have also found (from asking friends about similar procedures) that they are slightly less expensive than most vets in the area. My dog has been a patient here for 7 years now, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Michael D STEFAN

Every one was very helpful, friendly. Dr Cassidy was great with my dog, very considerate and explained clearly all options and called me back with results quickly. She told me (I did not have to ask) cost of procedures, tests before I had to make a decision and costs were not exorbitant like many vets.

MS L.J.

Having to put down our beloved dog was hard. The care & compassion the team gave us will never be forgotten. Forever Grateful to Rainier Veterinary

Manuel Ramirez Mestril

Excellent service!

Gigi Green

I have been using the Rainier veterinarian clinic since I was a little girl in my dad took our dogs to the vet. They've always been kind and caring and understanding of how we feel about our pets, and that sometimes cost is an issue. They always give me the fullest picture and options available to me in making my choices for the care of my pets. The staff is just wonderful! Although there are many veterinary offices that are much closer to where I currently live, I keep going back to the Rainier Veterinarian Clinic. I can't imagine going anywhere else.

Robin Snyder

Great kind service and a rare inexpensive Seattle vet. They have always given me accurate estimated as well. Edit: got my cats dental cleaning done here and they gave them little Halloween themed bandanas. These guys are the best.

Claire Campbell

Everyone there is super helpful and patient with you. They have always managed to be flexible with me with my questions as I'm always stressing something is wrong with my two dogs (are they too big or too small? Do their teeth look okay?) As well as scheduling appointments. The parking isn't ideal, but it's kind of worth the inconvenience.

Matt Shepard

Rainier Veterinary Hospital always done a wonderful job with my fuzzy family members. On my last visit, I brought in two (of three!) pets for some routine and not-so-routine concerns. The staff was polite, I was seen quickly, and the vet (Dr. Cassidy) laid out options in a very clear manner. They took great care of me and my pups! And the follow-up was quick and informative.

Mak Kar

Friendly, they treat your pet like their own. Expect cuddles and treats.

Snjezana Cuturilo

Take lovely care of our best friends. Love all the staff here. Pretty easy to get appointments.

Artemis Wapiti

Staff were very friendly and caring and if you had any questions, they returned your call promptly. Angie, the clinic manager is amazing and really helped to organize payment and after-care for our beloved feline.

Curl Grrl

Me & my dog love this clinic! They are very knowledgeable, not pushy, and reasonably priced. My dog usually hates going to the vet. She's not scared here. She's even happy to walk in. Dr. Nicholson doesn't wear a lab coat & Trixie thinks that's really great too.

J Smith

Love this place. Don't be fooled by the dated interior. EVERY SINGLE PERSON HERE is so damn nice and so good with animals. My dog is very anxious and this is the ONLY vet he doesn't wig out the second we pull in the parking lot. The staff is so incredible here. Wouldn't bring my dog anywhere else.

Mary Siple

We bring our cats and dog to Rainier Vet... we just really like the staff and the amount of attention the animals get. The dog actually likes going to the vet :)

Christy Gordon

I have always found the entire staff at Rainier Veterinary Hospital to be kind, compassionate, and competent. Also, being open both Saturdays and Sundays is great for scheduling.

Emily Keene

The vets and vet techs are all so great and caring, and you can always count on them to give you the straight scoop!

Fin Hardy

Rainier Vet is a great business. They are always so friendly when I call on the phone and I love the fact that they are open on Sunday's. After a few times of visiting the vet my dog now loves to go!

This is an old. established veterinary clinic in Ranier Valley. It's not fancy, in fact it's a bit run down. I am on my third generation of dogs and cats there, and the new owners are very good. Their staff is responsibe, the care top drawer, and their prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.

I had taken Denali to Rainier Vet when I first got him a year ago. He was due for his annual shots so I called in to schedule and they remembered Denali and gave me great customer service over the phone. When we were there Denali was never treated poorly. He was greeted with smiles and affection. Even after his shots and getting his temperature taken, I don't think he'll be scared to come back here. Everyone was so warm and accommodating. His exam was thorough and the doctor made sure to ask questions about Denali and his daily habits.

G Hamilton

After having made an appointment and verifying it, I arrived there, waited 15 minutes or so and was then told that unless I got a wellness visit since she wasn't seen in one year and one day that she WOULD NOT BE VACCINATED. Had I come in the day before it wouldn't have been a problem. Mind you, this is an optional vaccination for bortedella. Although I argued with the tech or whomever the guy was that I spoke with two of their assistants and neither one mentioned this policy, I was refused the shot. I have NEVER, EVER heard of a veterinary office refusing an optional vaccine because a wellness visit was due. Take your pet to another place that doesn't force you to pay for charges that are unnecessary, like a forced wellness visit. Seriously?

Josh M.

Under no circumstances should you board your pet at Rainier Veterinary Hospital because they will assuredly be abused. It was suspicious enough that they'd given him a 'courtesy' bath, despite being given a bath the day before being boarded; In fact animals boarded there are regularly given 'free' baths because they are made to sit in their own urine and feces when boarding. When my dog jumped in the car it became clear he was coated in a grime of his own feces and dried urine. After washing him twice and scrubbing his hind quarters and feet the dried urine in his fur was still noticeable. After four days of boarding my dog had lost 4 lbs body weight, was so dehydrated he drank a full bowl of water, was covered in dried urine (with feces between his toes), and they butchered his toenail trim (which quoted as $15 on the form but charged $23 somehow). Since picking him up he has started wetting himself while laying down instead of asking to be walked. I have no idea what other abuses Rainier Veterinary Hospital are capable of but I am damn sure I will never let them near my pets again. They are filthy and cruel behind the scenes and no pet should be treated so horribly, it sure isn't worth the lower price point. Beyond the horror of my pet being left to fester in his own excrement the front desk staff were consistently overwhelmed, non-communicative and unable to retrieve paperwork properly or answer basic questions about pricing and quotes. That they cannot simply post their rates and price ranges for services is testament to their penchant for gouging and over-prescribing services such as cleanings and biopsies. Any form I filled out online (a total of three forms) ended up having to be filled out again on paper when I came in... and they managed to file my dog's records under the wrong name. Whatever reputation the staff or doctors had before is all that carries this clinic, that reputation has long disintegrated into a callous and disengaged staff doing the bare minimum as they charge low for low quality. You can do much, much better in the Seattle area and it is worth the drive/search to find competitive pricing and more compassionate professionals.

Tyler Catalano

By far and away the best place to bring your fury loved ones. Was so thrilled when I moved back to Seattle to be able to get back on the schedule with them. Easy, friendly, and very knowledgeable!

John Mosher

Very courteous staff. They were very respectful when our friend passed. They even sent us a paw print in the mail with a condolence card. Very thoughtful.

Wonderful tech and doctors, I've taken my Boxer here through her life and now my two Frenchies.

We've been taking our cats to Rainier Veterinary Hospital since 1996. Over the years we have seen many Dr's and they have always provided the best care for our furry family. We are now moving overseas and will miss everyone at Rainier Vet!! We couldn't have made this move with our cats without their help. Every step of the way they helped guide us through the process of obtaining export visa for our cats. Thank you Rainier Vet!

We called because our dog was exhibiting some alarming symptoms and we were very concerned. They told us to bring him right in and we were seen by our vet within minutes. Our pet was treated with such kindness and professional care. He fully recovered. We have gone to the Rainier Vet clinic since the days of Dr. Kadner. This group truly reflect the same values in care.

Barbara Porter

For 45 years Rainier Veterinary Hospital has been caring for our pets. Through the years they have shared all experiences with grace and skill and always at reasonable cost. We would have given them more than 5 stars if we could have. We have moved from the neighborhood but will always return to Rainier.

Caroline Hughes

Rainier Veterinary Hospital is such a find! For nearly 5 years they've taken terrific care of our dog. The entire staff is caring, competent, and seem to truly love taking care of animals. They are pragmatic and convenient. Highly recommend.

Dr. Mitsie Vargas

Dr Nicholson is really bringing high quality pet care to this area. She is a very caring vet and the staff is great!.

Sarah Melo

I can’t stress enough how much I love rainier veterinary! They have really gone above and beyond in taking care of my cats and worked to fit them into the schedule even on busy days when they were suddenly sick. The folks there are always up front about pricing and offer multi-scenario/range quotes, everyone is totally non-judgemental and very empathetic. The doctors are also great with questions and take the time to really make sure I understand the options and all the pros/cons...they really place the focus on finding the best path for both you and your pet. Not only do they care a LOT about pets, but also about the pet owners <3 Thank you Rainer Veterinary!!!

albert trent

We have used Rainier veterinary hospital for at least 30 years, have always been happy with them , we need to board our pet for 20 to 25 days. They take wonderful care of our precious one.

Luci Arson

The best, all the staff care about you and our family friend. No matter what physician you see they know your pet and always take an active interest in their well being. Even the receptionist knows us. thank you for taking such good care of Edgar.

Dustin Brown

I have to preface this review with this. The staff are amazing and welcoming. They remember our pets by name. They work pretty well with the animals. I havent had any large procedures so I dont know about that. All the small things, tests return quickly, I get follow up calls and appointment reminders. The biggest problem is the best way to describe this actual building is: dingy. It's not well taken care of, it's not temperature controlled well, it looks like its constantly dirty. It's not a 5 star establishment... but the staff are. EDIT: Response from the Owner states they will be doing upgrades. I will update my review once finished to reflect the work being done!

Araceli Matias

Great care for my cat. They're friendly, thorough, and caring. I have gotten great vet service here. I just have to update this post. My cat had a urinary problem you last weekend, and they were able to take her in on Monday. They were so helpful and caring and kept me updated every step of the way . The vet has talked to me twice afterwards with detailed useful information, and the staff have also followed up. Athena got great care (though of course the vet isn't her favorite place, she was calm when she was dropped off). Athena is already doing better since Monday, and I'm hopeful that the prescription diet will help remove the bladder stones. I really appreciate the can thorough and compassionate approach here.

Roger T. Morrell

Very fast service. Clear in what needs and has been done.

We brought a feral cat who needed some vet care. Very happy with Dr. Colleen and the rest of the staff. Excellent care, prompt replies, excellent customer service, very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

We have been taking our two dogs here for years. The staff at Rainier is amazing and we feel so comfortable leaving our dogs with them when we have to leave town. They really take the time and care about your animals here. I couldn’t recommend it more

Harold Odom

Very helpful very knowledgeable and didn't charge me anything for a half hour of questioning.

Lorre Mark

We've been taking our dog to Rainier Vet for over 10 years, ever since he's been a member of our family. The veterinarians have always been terrific and thorough on exams. We like the reminders for shots and the sage advice we receive. Great "bedside" manners with our pet and people too! Prices are reasonable, and we are always able to get an appointment that works with our schedules.

Wardy Osman

My 2 kittens and i love this hospital we drive 50min just to do our checkups here.

Leif Marshall

I think the care we’ve received over the years for our dog has been good. What I don’t care for though is how off their estimates are nearly every time. Sometimes it’s by hundreds others it’s by thousands. Take for instance our most recent visit. Our dog had to have most of his teeth removed and we were quoted $400-$900 yet in the middle of procedure they called and said it looks like we’re we wrong it will be $2,000 now. If it’s going to fluctuate that much and they know it can, then quote $400 to $2000. OR do a better pre-examination.

My 13 YO dog got injured in a fight with another dog at doggy daycare and I called emergency clinics all around the area. Rainier vet created a chance 4me to drop him off so his vet could see him in between surgeries later that day. By time I got through traffic from Renton to Rainier Ave. 2 arrive at clinic, the vet was in between procedures with an apprentice entail. She just finished a surgery when I arrived so she took us in clinic to help my dog with a pain shot, a pack of antibiotics, & a plan 2 keep him alive. I had 2 call a few more times for advice over the next few days but we saved him from spiraling to death, as a team. Thinking back, I am so impressed with Dr. Cassidy's care style, her unobtrusive demeanor is exactly what my dog's injuries needed. I saw my dog do something he has never done before with a vet when he lovingly crawled into her lap during her examination & laid there as if saying "I trust U2 help me." I'm a huge fan of Dr. Cassidy's

Stephanie Nelson

They are super nice here and always treat our dog so well.

Hugh V

Efficient and friendly service. We will be back!

Erin Rants

I took my lab mix Olive here for 13.5 years. She very recently died, and the sympathy card they sent with individual messages from the docs and staff reminded me of the good care they took of her throughout her life and the warm feelings they had for both of us.

This is not my normal vet, but the few times I had to go in on a Sunday these folks were there for me and my pups. My oldest passed away this summer and I brought her there to be cremated and all the employees hand signed a card that also contained herein paw prints.

Andrew M

Any clinic that's been around over 80 years must be doing something right! Check out this wonderful mural hanging in their lobby - it was painted in 1960 and I wouldn't be surprised if it were given to them by a client out of sheer appreciation.

Tim Earll

Best vet in Seattle!

Grant Colasurdo

My good friend Mr Alexander, suggested that I give Ranier Vet a try. I am retired and on a fixed income. So there is not alot to throw around. I have to say, what he told me was totally right. He said these people treat you with respect and for what you pay they also offer your pet about the best treatment you could get no matter the price. Turns out he was spot on. I will be bringing my cat to them as long as we are all alive. Thank you Toby Faulkner P.S. It is always a pleasure to endorse any company or organization that really tries.

Whitney H

Our family have used Rainier Vet as our go-to primary vet for decades, with Dr. Cliff Heino as our go to doctor. The staff is caring and efficient and know their repeat clients by name. My mother has a Yorkie with pancreatitis, and all we have to do when she has an episode is walk in the door and they'd reach out and take her. They just knew what to do. They don't believe in overcharging for care, but in providing the best care for your pet. They used to do walk-in service, but recently changed it to appointments only. They were the sweetest and most compassionate staff we could ask for when we finally had to put our Chow down due to liver failure at 12, allowing us to remain as long as we liked afterwards. We recently adopted a new Chow mix and know that we will be taking her to them, even if they are 20miles away from us now. It's worth the time, distance and our new dog's quality of care to go there.

Shamyl Zakariya

Tara Wong

The staff is aloof at best. They often seem annoyed. I have not been impressed.

Donny Schell

These veterinarians truly care about the wellbeing of you pets and it shows. They take special interest in your pets and go out of their way to remember their situations.

Alfonso Moure Ortega

I felt that they were trying to sell me a whole bunch of treatments without any real recommendation about what to do. I'm not a vet, so it would nice to hear something like "but I think it is not a serious issue, and I would do X and not spend a lot of money in unnecessary tests". Not being an expert, I'm not qualified to make a decision, but I trust them to do just that: recommend to me the best course of action. But the service was nice and quick. Very nice people. But if I go to a vet (or a "human" hospital), I don't want to feel like I'm buying a new car with a lot of features. I just want my dog to be ok!

Susan Bailey

My two dogs were in just yesterday for vaccines and health check. The entire staff was exceptional, as always - gentle, loving, and thorough. I never have to wait long to get an appointment. And charges are always in line with my expectations.

Buck Dharma

I've been taking my dogs to RVH for almost 10 years now. The prices have risen a bit, but are still very competitive and the staff seems very knowledgeable and caring.

Marjorie Bedford

Awesome as usual. Relieved they're open on Sundays too!

Linda Frangello Franco

I have been taking my dogs to Rainier Vet Hospital since 1982. Been though several doctors and techs and have always had good results. Before there were set appointments, there were long wait times. Was really glad they went to set appointments. My dogs, all four of them, have always been treated with love and care, even when they were a handful. I always felt comfortable leaving them there. My most recent vet, Dr. Beestman, is very kind and gentle. the rates are reasonable, the location for me is great, and I know my Aksel is well taken care of by everyone there. My Aksel (yellowLab, age 7) has a heart problem but under care has been doing well. I just love Rainier Vet Hospital, they are great! Highly recommend!

Jeff Morse

My bulldog Rocky smells soooo much better, thanks to Elizabeth for his medicated baths!

Katrina Ji & Culture Shakti

Corky always feels comfortable at Rainier Veterinary Clinic and I love the vintage floors etc. Good prices and great staff. They were very gentle with him.

Veronika Taylor

I love the fact, that stuff in this clinic remembers your pet's situation even years past. My lovely kitty Justin passed away due to chronic heart issue a year ago, the hospital's stuff was very attentive and professional back then btw; this week I brought new adopted kitty and the doctor remembered Justin's disease and the fact how lovely and cute he was. I was so touched!

Patricia Farrell

I always recommend Rainier Vet to anyone who is looking for a new veterinary practice. We love you guys! Pat, Lola and Blue.

Gigi littlefield

The place may not look very attractive from the out side but the service is wonderful! They're will be remodeling soon :) Great and caring vets, assistants and staff. We are very grateful to have them!

Needs some love. Appointment times are never respected, front desk staff seems to always be too busy to check in and out, so be sure you have nothing else planned surrounding your appointment. The place always smells dirty and I don't think they clean thier exam rooms between appointments. Everything just feels very run down and old.

M. Jackie Means

I have been taking my "children" here for almost 10 years. The vets and staff show so much genuine concern and affection for our pets, it is unlike any other clinic I have been to in the past. I appreciate the flexible/weekend hours, the follow up phone calls, and how responsive they are to any questions before or after each visit. Out of their current providers we have specifically seen Dr. Beestman, Dr. Cassaday, and Dr. Johnson. They were all incredible, but what is so great about this clinic is how well they all work together as a team. The vets clearly review the medical charts before each visit and are familiar with our situation when they come in the room. So I know even if we switch doctors between visits I can still be confident that they will know our pet's medical history. The vet techs and front desk staff are equally amazing in their care for our pets. They are also really great about helping you determine the level of care you can afford - ie being clear and upfront with their pricing (which is surprisingly low for Seattle), helping to prioritize treatment options when I can't afford all of the recommendations, and to tailor the care plan to each specific pet. I will continue to take my pets here for as long as I live in Seattle.

Dr. Johnson may be young, but she's smart and warm and knowledgeable, and has excellent manner with concerned pet parents. I highly rec. Dr. Johnson. Rainier Vet Hospital is an old time clinic that still has the same look, which I like. It also helps keep the costs reasonable, and the staff is well qualified and friendly.

I started coming here a few years ago after some really horrible experiences at another vet. Unfortunately the horrible experiences at the other vet--where they insisted I just put my cat on a diet instead of finding the *freaking tumors in her abdomen* that were found too late and treating her arthritis--meant that my sweet girl ended up at Rainier Veterinary Hospital for palliative and end-of-life care. Dr. Beestman and Dr. Cassidy were both so kind to my little angel that I bring my remaining little old man to Dr. Cassidy as his primary care provider. Dr. Cassidy is thoughtful and kind, provides plenty of information about any issues she sees, and is not afraid to love all over him... which lil old man also loves. He handles going to the vet so much better now.

Randall Yoakum

Very caring and patient people. It is my first time owning a cat and they took the time to answer the many questions I had. Highly recommend!

Amy O'Toole

I absolutely love Rainier Vet Hospital. My friend suggested I switch to them when I was looking for a place to board my pet, which they do for clients. Rainier Vet hospital folks are kind, compassionate and helpful. They are very good with my high-strung dog and wonderful when my four year old niece accompanies us to the "dog doctor". I know my pup is in great hands. I could not be more appreciative of their care and concern for my pup's well being.

Jamie Janik

They are caring, helpful and genuinely love their patients! I am very happy with their service and highly recommend them.

Rainier Veterinary Hospital doctors are wonderful. They are not only very well trained physicians, they are also good communicators and kind to animals and humans alike. I'm sure all of their clients, like me, wish they could afford a beautiful new state of the art building, as the premises are old and unattractive; but the spaces are clean, and the doctors and very kind staff are more important than the aesthetics. My cats are patients of Dr. Cassidy, a very capable young doctor. In her absence the other staff veterinarians have always proven to be excellent as well. I recommend the Rainier Veterinary Hospital without reservation.

rachel Christiansen

I always feel my cat and I are welcome and she gets gentle and excellent care. I am so glad I have them as her vet. I highly recommend Rainier Vetrinary for the best care. Rachel

Mhadz Hajny

Dr. Cassidy and Dr. Johnson are Tonka’s vet. They are the best, efficient, and effective in caring for Tonka. The staff are also very courteous, friendly, and always helpful when we need to go in for same-day appointments. I would recommend them to anyone who wants great care for the family animals.

Bonita Dennison

The friendly, efficient care given to Stella on our first visit to Rainier Veterinary Hospital was much appreciated. I was nervous about bringing her for her first vet visit and she got along very well.

I love our veterinary hospital. Do not be fooled by its simple appearance, the staff is wonderful, compassionate, kind, responsive. I liked every vets and assistants whom took care of our cats. They even checked on them after treatments. We get a little check up card reminder in the mail once a year, they also worked with me when the cost was up and allowed me to make payments. In other words, I highly recommend them!

We've been going to Rainier Vets for over ten years, and three "generations" of dogs. We've moved twice in the meantime, and their location is not particularly convenient for us now. But we'd never think of going elsewhere. It's worth the drive across downtown and the hill, even at rush hour.

Weve been taking our pets here for years. Wonderful docs and staff that really care about our pet family. Thanks for always being there for us!

The most pet friendly and pet owner friendly staff. Super knowledgeable and empathetic people working here. They offer a full variety of services from basic check ups to vaccinations and even your end stage care for your furry loved one. Best part is they always give you their undivided attention and will help give you the best options for your pet's health. They are modestly priced but the views of care and service provided out weigh the cost. Oh one more hidden bit of awesomeness in services; they offer boarding services for your pet if you are going to be away on vacation!!! They are very affordable plus they give your pet round the clock care as needed!!! Make an appointment a few weeks before your trip as the room fills up fast. Going here for your pet's health care is the best option in town.

Rainer Vet provides the best service! Their staff is friendly, conscientious and empathetic while showing exemplary care. I take all 4 of my pets there with 100% trust that they will be treated with the best care and compassion.
