You have all the information of real people like you who are purchasing the products of North Seattle Veterinary Clinic (Veterinarian) near Washington.
Now the firm gets a rating of 4.8 out of 5 and that score is based on 108 reviews.
As you can see its rating is practically the top, and it is founded on a very large number of reviews, so we may be quite sure that the score is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to value when they've done well with the service, it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to write tatings when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Veterinarian is classified in the category of Veterinarian.
Great vets- they love my dog and are also happy to get in-depth with you about your pet's health, and help you find the best treatment.
After moving home to Portland , I have yet to find a veterinary clinic that was as exceptional as North Seattle Veterinary Clinic. One of our two adopted and rescued pit-mix dogs, Maddox, has had a slew of health and skin problems since the day we brought him home. He was malnourished and a complete medical mystery for the first year. Today I was going through his medical history in preparation for meeting/interviewing a new DVM. Starting in August of 2016 I started bringing Maddox to Dr. Melissa Nathanson at NSVC. Writing this review solely to say thank you to Dr. Nathanson and the entire staff (Vera, Haylee...I remember you too!). From skin/ear yeast infections to thyroid cancer and dental extractions, you all helped us to get Maddox healthy and happy after years of neglect. You have set a high standard for veterinary care and my fingers are crossed that I will be able to find a staff who cares as much for their patients as you do again :)
Kind professionals
Great place to take your pet.
This was our first visit here with our 11 year old dog. We saw Dr. Allmendinger. She is wonderful, informative and genuine.. (we haven't had this kind of positive experience in years with other Vets in North Seattle). They really cared about our older dog who was in a lot of pain and got him in right away for a dental cleaning + extractions next day, and we knew he was in capable, caring hands. Dr. Meredith & Marit did his teeth cleaning and our dog is already feeling better (next day) recovering very nicely. They care about the well being of your pets, the staff is warm and happy to assist. (Such a different vibe than what we were used to). We've found our new Vets and Highly recommend them! Excellent service!
Dr. Meredith is wonderful. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic.
3 generations of my family have gone here. I've never found a place with better care.
We now live on the south side of Seattle and still take our cat all the way to Northgate for his medical needs, they're that good with him.
I just love this clinic and all the staff there. Whether I'm coming in with my 18 year old cat or my current foster kitty they always treat my pets with the greatest care. I particularly appreciate that Dr. Neer always gives me the options to spread out care in stages. I don't ever feel like I'm being pushed for the most expensive or invasive option when something cheaper or less invasive can be tried first. They are very up-front with any questions about costs. A couple other cool things: 1. Evening hours! Some days of the week they are open late, making it easier to schedule around work. 2. Feliway spray for use in the waiting room. Grab a clean towel, spray with Feliway, and drape it over your kitty's carrier.
Extremely friendly staff They take time to explain everything and answer questions.
I took my kittens for their first visit to North Seattle Veterinary Clinic early this month. Their front desk was very helpful is scheduling the appointment, and telling the forms. They sent me a text reminder for the appointment which is always helpful. On the appointment, the vet was great, she took care of my kittens and she was playing with me and treated them nicely.
Great place
My very nervous puppy loves the staff and the caring attention he receives from them!
People you can trust with your pet. Informed and willing to take the time for a call to ensure continuity of care.
Everyone is absolutely outstanding!! Appointments are not rushed, all questions and concerns are addressed with patience and compassion. Prices are extremely affordable, the team is all absolutely fantastic... My pup means the world to me and bringing him to North Seattle Vet I know we have the best chance for him to have a long, healthy and happy life
I’ve been to Dr. Windom and Dr. Nathanson and both are great.
Best
I will trust no other vet in this city. They hit a very basic diagnosis that a few other vets couldn't be bothered to check without a ridiculous charge for an expensive and unneccesary allergy test. Needless to say, they have my trust and faith in their abilities and results. My dog seems to actually enjoy going and I know they also treat cats and rodents.
All the staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Neer takes excellent care of my cat. The clinic even adopted a foster cat I had who was going to be put down and gave him a loving home until he passed away.
The staff is great and Dr. Windom is an amazing caring person.
My partner and I moved to Seattle from Hawaiʻi, bringing our two cats (10y and 7y) with us. One of the most daunting part about our overseas move was finding new veterinary care for our furballs. We tried a different veterinarian before finding North Seattle Veterinary Clinic, and I'm so glad we did! Our cats have been here three times including a dental cleaning and extraction. I felt NSVC (and Dr. Windom) took extraordinary care for our cat Einstein when he had his dental extraction, with careful explanations, phone calls to check in before any surgery was done, and a free check up exam a week later. Everyone we've interacted with here have been wonderful, from the doctors and technicians to the reception. Thank you, North Seattle Veterinary Clinic!
Dr Neer is great. I have elderly dogs with some health problems and she seems to have a great handle on the frequent problems my dogs have.
Very expensive and not very helpful. Took my dog here to get an estimate for dental work. First of all, they couldn't give any estimate of the cost without her having a physical exam ($72). Then, even with the physical exam, their estimate was $1100 - $2400 ... Depending on whether the teeth the doctor said definitely need to come out, actually needed to come out ... (I could actually hear them talking about it in the back room while we were in the exam room, and it sounded like the senior vet wanted it to sound less expensive than it actually was going to be). This seemed disingenuous, so we went to another vet that did the work for less than half the quoted price.
Professional, caring vets.
They are taking excellent care of my geriatric princess cat even though she tries to kill them.
I was worked in on short notice and my schedule needs were accommodated. My dog was treated with the utmost care. The examination was thorough and the diagnosis spot on. He is doing much better!
Dr. Nathanson is fantastic! When you have an issue with a rabbit it is always an emergency and having someone with her level of knowledge is invaluable! Especially considering how few and far between true rabbit veterinarians are (we drove 2 hours and 45 minutes to see her for GI Stasis). I also greatly appreciate the insistence on follow up even if it does take some time for the vets to get back to you.
Very helpful and friendly to my dog. Win win.
Dr. Nathanson is a very knowledgeable small animal specialist. Thanks to her, my rabbit is making a full recovery from his illness. They get pretty busy sometimes, so make sure you call in prescription refills early.
Dr. Windham is awesome, can't speak for others but we've been coming here for several years and really liked it
Great vets!
Good vets here who take good care of my pup.
(Translated by Google) Very sweet and warm to the puppy. (Original) 對小狗很親切很溫暖。
A lot of attention to our new puppy, took time to answer all questions
Very friendly.
Love the vets and staff here very helpful and have been great to my doggies.
Problems not resolved.
We just moved to this area and I was terribly nervous about finding a new Doctor for our doggie! I am so thankful I found this clinic! Everyone was so nice and they all seem to genuinely love animals. I feel very comfortable having such a wonderful group of professionals I can trust to advise me on what is best for my Baxter-Baby.
The people at this clinic are personable, compassionate and professional. They listened well to our concerns and gave us options without judgement. When our loving cat eventually passed, they have continued to share in our sorrow. When the day comes that we have another fur-baby, we will go out of our way to continue to come here.
I had a wonderful cat named MrKinny. He was 13+ yrs old & I'd had so many "hahaha" and cuddle moments ever since he was a baby furball. I searched & searched the internet to find a vet that would help MrKinny go into his 'forever sleep' in a warm-hearted way. The staff at North Seattle Veterinary Clinic were professional, compassionate & gentle with MrKinny & with me too. Amazing group of devoted people at NSVC. They gave me a private room to say goodbye to my MrKinny & I could hold MrKinny until I was ready to 'let go'. He was so sick & I am so grateful for the tenderness & commitment to NSVC for caring for my fur-baby. The only issue I have is they spelled MrKinny's name wrong on the plaster paw print they gave me as a momento of my MrKinny. :( Peace & Gratitude,. Wendy Richards (MrKinny's gramma) Seattle, WA
North Seattle Veterinary Clinic was very helpful and very kind. I was looking for a place to put my two year old rat down, he wasn't doing well and it seemed like no one would bother with a rat, and the places that did wouldn't let you stay in the same room while they did the euthanization. Finally I found the North Seattle clinic, they told me I would be able to stay with him while it was happening. The staff was incredibly nice and patient while I said my goodbyes. They even waited while he finished his last treat. They were very sweet and gentle with my rat. When it was all over they even offered me a little clay plate with an imprint of his paws free of charge. A couple days later I even got a condolence with all the staff's signatures saying they were sorry for my lost. It was nice to know I was still in their minds even after everything was over. I would deffinently go back.
They are really nice and have not tried to upsell a bunch of stuff we didnt need.
Nice parking lot, new, smooth, lots of space. Good people, friendly, fast, helpful. Building's nice, good light. Never had any issues here, definitely worth trying of they have space to fit you in. -A
I wanted to like this place. After I took my dog there for several years, the care got more expensive and less effective (I seek medical, science -based treatment that is pragmatic and focused on the problem ). There is one vet there I really loved - she listened and provided the carend we needed. She didn't work that often, however, and her colleagues would frequently recommend herbal remedies and food that were expensive and did not address the raging infection my dog had. After they were unable to make a same day appointment for my dog to be euthanized when it was time, I left their practice and I don't plan on going back. I did establish cate at Northgate veterinary clinic and have been very happy.
Just popped in to get a prescription refill - without calling first. (Don't normally do that, but was in the area unexpectedly.) Kind and efficient, they were able to get the refill done in a few short minutes. All staff are good natured and caring - of pets and their people.
Yearly visit with two cats: Questions were answered, nervous cats were given time to settle.
We love these doctors! This is a warm welcoming place for animals and their owners. As owners of 3 cats we see them and communicate with them fairly often. We highly recommend, they treat our fuzzy children so sweetly.
Friendly, knowledgeable.
Good service and cost me way less than I thought it would.
We appreciated that the vets and tecs use low stress handling techniques. They didn't rush the exam and were patient with our nervous dog and with us. Our questions were answered and they carefully explained our options.
We love this place for our fur kids and Dr. Meredith is especially great!! We had some scary experiences with another vet hospital on Mercer and needed to find a new primary and I'm so glad we were referred to this place from a vet at blue pearl Thank you guys for all you do!!!
I was fit in to this place with 2 hours notice. I had a guinea pig I was concerned about (eye irritation), and her cagemate that I wanted to get just a regular exam for. When I first called, the receptionist Hailey (sorry if I spelled that wrong), worked with me on my schedule the day of, informed me they could only see one pig with a chance of seeing the second. She recommended 3 other clinics and said to call back if I had no luck. Well I had no luck. Got my appointment, was informed another client cancelled and got both pigs in. Dr Neer was incredible. Most certainly a cavy savvy Vet. She quickly identified the problem with my pig in question, performed her evaluations, administered the first dose of the medication I needed, and informed me of everything along the way. I was blown away by her kindness and gentle handing of my fur babies. Such a good place, and a great staff. I'm glad I found my permanent clinic so quickly after moving to Seattle from Austin. Thanks y'all, keep it up.
I’ve been bringing my pets here since 2011, and even though I no longer live in the city, I still take my dog to North Seattle Vet. Dr. Neer, Dr. Nathansen and Dr. Windom are all outstanding and caring doctors.
When I was getting ready to be a new dog owner I actually interviewed about a dozen vet clinics in North Seattle. Small Practices, large chain styles and everything in between. This is a nice medium sized practice, with different types of vets. They will look at rodent pets, cats, dog and rabbits. They also have a vet on staff that is not adverse to holistic approaches to pet care. You can insist on seeing only one, or whomever is available. They will file your insurance claims for you. They have an online appointment system plus a very helpful and friendly front office staff. Bonus? They are open on Saturdays.
Dr Windam is amazing! Not only have I been very impressed with her breed specific knowledge and practical advice but she takes time to really get to know each pup... Sensitive, smart, patient, realistic. A dog-jem! I will go to NSV for as long as she is there.
Great veterinary care,. Caring and kind animal care.
Excellent service, Dr. Windom was so good with my Goldendoodle. The staff were knowledgeable and kind as well.
Been going here for over 20 years. Great service and the vets are excellent!
They takegreat care of our dog and cat at a fair price.
Friendly
I take my dog Taco here & he gets very good care.
We love this vet because they are always good about getting us in quickly, making sure all our concerns are addressed, and are wonderful about follow-ups. Additionally, they seem to be higher tech than most vets which is great!
Professional and friendly. Very supportive staff.
Quality of pet care has been great. Receptionists have been rude, and blamed me for their mistake.
NOT impressed!
Adawna Windom, DVM, and her associates have been caring for my cats for many years. Their care is always compassionate and extremely competent. They have been by our side through numerous health crises and end of life issues. They are the best. Their new offices are light, bright and immaculate. They are the best. They have our trust.
Cat visit was in & out quick (15 min), A little speny, but worth it.
