They were great! Took our cat here for his annual and he immediately warned up to the nurse and doctor. They made him feel comfortable and answered all our questions. They gave us good references for our cats teeth and were willing to take the time with us to go over techniques. We were so pleased that we made an annual dor our other cat on the way out!

This review is long overdue, I have been taking my pup here for nearly 6 years. Never have I ever felt as an inconvenience at this clinic (via phone or in-person). The front desk staff (all of them!) are always SO polite, explain things clearly and efficiently and has a genuine tone during conversations. The techs are super helpful with the transition process and walk up to us in the waiting room, that is such a small gesture, but powerful. The doctors (Dr. Schaeffer who we see most often) is always prepared with the history of my pet and always listens to any concerns I might have and offers new advice / ideas. Most recently, she was running a few mins late (not common, the tech informed me on her own there was an emergency), when Dr. arrived never did she make me feel rushed during my appointment. I know I always have Dr. Schaeffer's full attention- thank you! Lastly, Rachel stopped in to give me a good overview regarding the dental treatment, which was beyond helpful and informative. I really appreciated her breaking down the process and procedure for me, instead of just handing me something to read later that I wouldn't fully understand. This has been the best vet clinic I could have chosen! Thanks JBV team!

Thank you to each provider and individual we interact with. You have cared for Beau and Diesel, our two cats, and we cannot ask for better service for our fur babies. We appreciate you personally getting to know us and both our cats, making us feel comfortable at each visit, and helping us through the loss of Beau. I never once felt abandoned during the process of grieving Beau, or during any vet visit with Beau or Diesel. Taking time to explain the processes and procedures truly put us at ease and the time you take with our cat’s to make them comfortable does not go unnoticed. While we are in this area, we plan to stay with Juanita Bay and recommend all our friends and family to bring their fur babies to you.

A very caring place for our little family members. Everyone — vets and staff — are very professional and very competent. As for prices, I disagree with another reviewer who thought prices were high. They are competitive with other establishments given the quality they provide. We’re very happy!

I just started taking my pups here. The facility is super clean! The front desk staff are friendly and super helpful and the Vets are great! My only wish is that the vets connected with my dogs more. My old vet who moved away, used to get down on the floor and love on them and gave lots of treats before getting to business. My dogs loved her and it made shots and other intrusive tasks so much easier for them. With that said, I still recommend Juanita Bay Veterinary!

We have been taking our pets to Juanita Bay Vet for about 30 years. They provide excellent care and information, great customer service, and they have a beautiful new facility. Everyone is super friendly with the animals and their owners. We usually see Dr Mike Clark, but have seen other vets as well when we needed to get in on short notice, and they have all been fantastic. Our dog is a rescue that is very nervous of strangers, and the vets and techs have all been so patient and kind with her. We have also had pets undergo surgery with them and they have been very communicative, which helps put us at ease. I trust them completely with my pets and will never see another vet!

Growing up, our family pets always saw Dr. Mike. I still remember as a kid his compassion when we had to put down our hamster. We also had a number of dogs and cats see him. One of our dogs recently passed away at the age of 16.5! My current dog has seen Dr. Schaeffer (she happened to have an appointment available when I needed to go). Starting with the front office staff and the vet techs-- they are awesome! They know who my dog is and always treat him like he's special (in a good way). The vet techs are extremely knowledgeable and patient with my 80lb mutt. He was a stray and was not very accustomed to vet offices, but they figured out the best techniques to make him comfortable (treats and pets!). One thing I really appreciate about Dr. Schaeffer is that every time she comes in to greet my dog she has a very calming presence. She will sit on the floor to let him approach her. She cares about his health and also that he has a positive experience at the vet. Additionally, I typically book the last appointment of the day. She has never once seemed at all in a rush-- I've been impressed that we get just as much covered no matter when my appointment is. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else!

We came to know this vet because our dog escaped and they caught him and called us. This is a family style veterinarian clinic they are nowt owned by BVCA the big company that cares more about getting test done then the care of your pet. We absolutely love this vet they take time with you actually care about your pet and our outstanding veterinarians and take care.

Our kitten hurt her paw just as they were closing. I gave them a call and described the situation. The doctor made time to listen and evaluate and concluded that she would most likely be ok, but offered to come in early the next day to have a look. Awesome service, very compassionate staff. Definitely recommend.

I take my cat here, she doesn't like going to the vet and is very cranky but they are pretty good about knowing that and being very understanding. They are a bit more expensive than other vets I have been to but in a lot of cases I don't really mind, but I am very candid with them when I cannot afford something and they are good about understanding and giving alternative options. They really strive to give you a good experience.

I had originally reviewed this place as five stars. However after getting conflicting information from one appointment to the next from the same vet- Dr Robinson- I called her out on it. All she could say was “I see 14 dogs a day. I don’t remember what I told you last time.” And then called me the next day and invited me to have my records transferred elsewhere. Wow. There are no words.

I moved into the Kirkland area about 4 years ago and was looking for a vet for my cat, Frisket. Juanita Bay Veterinary came up with rave reviews and it is clear why. Over the course of the past four years they have always been caring, understanding and extremely knowledgeable. Frisket bounced around between Dr. Schaeffer and Dr. Fullerman but I was never in doubt over the quality of care that Frisket got. Sure, there may be slightly less expensive veterinary clinics around but the cost (in my opinion) is well justified. When my old cat was having some shortness of breath, they were able to accommodate me immediately, and when we found a cancerous mass, referred me out to a specialist who were able to treat Frisket properly. Juanita Bay Veterinary genuinely cares about your pets as much as you do and they know how much they mean to you. I would not hesitate bringing your cat or dog to Juanita Bay - you will be treated right.
