Dr. Rorieg is an excellent diagnostician because of his years of experience and he saves his clients a lot of money by not recommending unnecessary expensive tests. He has a special talent for handling the animals that puts them at ease. I love that you can drop your pet off in the morning and call back after 3:00 pm to see what the problem is & be able to pick your pet up by 8:00 pm if the treatment required is not extensive. This is so great for working pet owners. Dr. Rorieg & his staff are so compassionate & understanding. I totally trust them to provide care for my beloved pets, & at prices that are much more reasonable than most vets.

Very kind and friendly staff, the only vet I will ever take my animals to. They treat common household animals as well as exotics. The pricing is more then fair and they have been able to put all of my animals at ease.

Brought my 4yr old pup in because he wasn't feeling well, my bill was run up and up and up when no REAL answers and my dog left there worse than he went it...come to find out my baby had a mass that COULD had been removed and my boy wouldn't have suffered the way he was if properly cared for when brought here...a simply blood test then nothing - ok so do more research to figure out whats wrong...DON'T call yourselves a "hospital" if you aren't equipped properly....taking my baby else where within 5mins an ultrasound showed a mass!!!!!!!! Which if was taken cared of when brought here my baby would have lived!!!!!!!! Unbelievable to have a young otherwise healthy dog taken so young because SOMEONE didnt do a full work up but surely had no issue charging a ton!!!

I have been using this vet for years and have multiple dogs. They contract out to a traveling ultrasound Dr. who has the worst bedside manner I have come to see. I base this on two separate occasions, with 2 different dogs, so I feel this is her baseline. I have said something on both occasions but it seems the practice feels her medical expertise outweighs her ability to interact with dog owners on any level. I was told by the man who came to get my dog that I could stay in the room during the non invasive ultrasound and then when I got there I was told, quite rudely, by a woman that if I stayed in the room during I would be charged a consultation fee. I was already paying over $400 for the procedure...so did that really matter to me!! The whole situation was unprofessional and downright mean. I am very disappointed in the treatment I received as a human, but my goal is to find my dog symptom relief and longevity...and my dog has no voice!

Great vet. Very attentive to your pets care. Helped us with our dog who has pretty bad separation anxiety. We're able to get his monthly prescription there for much cheaper than any online sites. I will certainly continue to use Glen Manor for my pet care.

Very competent veterinarian with no nonsense communication for those who want that. For some family members the bedside manner may not be top notch. But after about two decades after moving to the area and taking care of close to 10 of my families dogs and cats combined health needs, I have been very satisfied overall.

Dr. Roerig is the best vet I've had take care of my animals hands down. He understands every situation, is very capable of any and all procedures, even with my very small runt of a chinchilla who needed to be neutered. He sincerely cares deeply about every animal that walks through his doors. He recently made a house call to put down my gf's dying dog in his most comfortable atmosphere. Such a great place that's very affordable. Less than 70$ for an exotic pet visit! Most places are over 100!!

Not a full hospital. Don’t risk anything other than vaccinations and flea and tick medication. Dr Roerig is probably fine for most dogs and standard vet care, but his carelessness and dismissive attitude toward my concerns resulted in or contributed to our Pug's death. Prior to a standard dental procedure, I asked about different anesthesia dosages and protocol for this breed and was waved off. I should have researched it more myself and gone with my gut feel because there are special precautions fo pugs per Tufts U and other well trained vets. She in fact did die, almost immediately on receiving the anesthesia. Tufts University has published a gradual process to allow time to react for emergencies and to properly intubate. It was a heart breaking lesson. He tried to claim she had a preexisting condition but had to back track because of the normal result of the blood test....from the blood test I had requested before the procedure, not him. He wasn't even going to give her the test, which other vets require. That should have been my cue to run. Afterward, I saw the room where the procedure is done and there is NO monitoring equipment. It’s NOT a hospital. It’s a place to get your pet weighed and vaccinated. Period.

Very nice staff and doctor. Extremely reasonably priced. They do not try to sell you on medical care that isn't necessary. They treat all types of animals not just dogs and cats. Great dental cleaning at a fraction of the cost which helps makes it more affordable to do it yearly. Highly recommend

Everyone is very nice, including Dr. R, but my mini-poodle almost died after we came for a visit. Went in because she had diarrhea for almost 24 hours. He did a cursory exam, and proclaimed she must have parasites. No fluids or anti-emetics given. Sent me home with antibiotics and a anti-parasitic. Not 2 hours after we got home she began vomiting and was very very ill. I rushed her to the 24-hour emergency vet where she was put on an IV and kept for 2 nights. She almost died from Hemorrhagic gastroenteritis (which is a common serious ailment for mini poodles) A doctor of vet medicine should know this. No follow-up from Glen Gardner, even after Crown vet let them know what was going on. Never going back.

I moved 1.5 hrs away and I can't find any vet like him. He will give you alternatives before opting for surgery. My cat tore his ACL and he said give him 6 weeks of bed rest to see if he heals and sure enough he did. My vet before him would have said surgery right away. He is definitely in it for the animals and not the money. He is very knowledgeable.
