VERY DISAPPOINTED We had 4 animals that have gotten care here for 4+ years, and we've generally been happy with their care, however in the past year they have been less responsive to the needs of our fur babies. About 6 months ago my 15 year old female cat was showing increased chronic kidney failure. We took her in, did bloodwork etc. The follow up call from the Dr was wishy washy, "call if you want to discuss". Monday, the same kitty needed help crossing the rainbow bridge, but they wouldn't see her til the next day (she was going to die in pain over night)...even a clinic who never saw her before was willing to help us the same day! Today (yes 2 days later) our old dog is having a rapid onset cough with mucus AND rapid shallow breathing, yet they are too busy to see him...did I mention he is OLD (and we have other animals that could be affected if this is contagious)!! Don't take your pets here if you might ever need immediate attention.

I have lived here for 8 years and Companion at Cascade Park has cared for my animals for all of it. They were especially kind and caring when I brought in my 17 yr. old dog with a stroke and I knew I would leave without her. She had been with me since she was 10 months old. She had gone through several moves around Albuquerque ( where I lived) as well as the big move to here. The doctors at Cascade Companion have been great. They are gentle with the animals and it is obvious they care about each and every one of them.I live on the far west side of town now but I will always use the Cascade park office.

I had a ferret. They don’t work much on them but they were so wonderful and did everything they could to help. She was sick from the day we got her. She didn’t end up making it, but in that short time we fell in love with her. We were so upset and the clinic contacted us to see how she was. After we told them they sent us a card to express their apologies. This meant so much to our family. We have had other experiences as well and they were always amazing and made us feel like our animals were like part of their family. Would recommend to everyone!!!

I have used this clinic twice and had great service. The antibiotics I received were extremely high priced which I wasnt expecting. Next time I will get a paper prescription. However, the care my pups have received is excellent.

My husband and I ran in this place today with my mini Yorkie Grace l, she was stung by a bee and wasn’t breathing and throwing up We only live one block from this place ! Anyway I begged the receptionist or whatever she was to please get somebody to help my baby but she just looked at me with no care at all and told me no they won’t see her! then I started crying so she got up and walked away ! I would NEVER take my animal to a place like this again thank god the Airport west Animal clinic took her and we made it in time for them to give her allergy medicine and she is doing great no thanks to this place !

I cannot express how wonderful this place is. 3 separate times in the last 4 years I have walked in, crying like a baby, either with a dog that needed to be out to sleep or with one that was already gone. They know my name, my dogs name, they had the info of what to do with the dog and one time, I could not speak. No words came from my mouth, just tears. My 13.5 year old English bulldog needed to be out to rest, I carried him in, have him to one of the gals and walked out. They charges my credit card, all charges were exactly what they should have been and I got a nice card in the mail from the staff 4 days later. I have been taking my animals to Companion Animal for over 20 years. And my plan is to continue to take them there for as long as they are open. This place is a Top Notch facility with the absolute best staff. I wish I could go here for medical services. RIP Max, Rudy and Makoto. 3 of the best dogs a human could ask to be blessed with.
