You may have noticed that it reaches an opinions average is really positive, and it is based on a high number of feddbacks, so we can say that the valuation is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to leave their opinion when they've done well with the service, it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to place reviews when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Veterinarian corresponds to the category of Animal hospital.
Easy parking, easy appointment setting, clean and welcoming rooms, always friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great care for my kitties, no hassles for me.
I've had to bring my dog in for checks ups, and on two separate occasions, for semi-emergencies. The staff there are always calm, efficient, and so helpful. The vets have also always helped me understand the cost of something before I choose to pay for it and I've never felt like they take advantage of me when I'm just trying to get services done for my pup. I love Broadway!
Dr. McWilliams and Dr. Park and the rest of the staff here are extraordinarily gentle, generous, and caring. They're good at explaining what's happening and in taking into consideration your experience as well as your fur-covered friend's. Broadway Vet is the best.
I've been taking my two cats here for more than 4 years now and really like the care they provide. I've found them to be reasonable in terms of discussing pros/cons of different recommended treatments and tests, and thorough in working through different health issues that come up with the cats. Recently, one of my cats had a medical emergency and they worked him in seamlessly and compassionately. I haven't had the issues that others have described in terms of late or cancelled appointments or flaky staff. And as the management has completely changed over in the past year or so, I've found the transition to be smooth and am happy with the current state of the practice. I also appreciate a new loyalty program that they've recently implemented that has let me earn credit back from the cats' care and get free exams every year. I've worked with both Dr. Carolyn and Dr. Greg and like them both.
Everyone has involvement and attentive care. From check in, detailed outline of the days plans & procedure, the follow up call and making sure he's good afterwards were all small things I really appreciated as his mom. His teeth and nails look amazing. I appreciated Jenna's photos in comparing before and after. After dropping him off I went to an appointment all the way in West Seattle and I had told my aesthetician about Otis' appointment, she asked which vet and I told her you guys and she said "oh I heard they were a great vet clinic!" I responded with "they absolutely are!" So thanks again for such compassionate and thorough preventative care and putting up with his loud barking and anxiety.
Broadway Veterinary Hospital is the best veterinarian facility I've ever known, and Greg McWilliams is a simply tremendous vet. Just one story: Two years ago my 17-year-old cat, Niko, had a stroke. I took him in to Broadway Veterinary, painfully sure that I would never be bringing him home again. But Greg (whom I was meeting that day for the first time) said that he thought perhaps Niko could pull through -- and with the excellent care he received from Greg and the BVH staff, he did. He was somewhat slower and more deliberate for the remaining year of his life, but comfortable and happy throughout. That year was an immense gift, one for which I give all the credit to Greg and his crew. At the end of that year, after a second stroke, it seemed that the time had come when I had to let Niko go; and when that time came, it was a great comfort to me that it was Greg who set him, cradled in my arms, free.
Friendly people, but a lil pricey. Urbanvet is where I go.
Best vet in Seattle! Freddie loves Broadway Vet!
Felt immediately welcomed, everyone on staff radiates warmth and care.
Dr. Rawlings and her staff are angels! They took care of my furbaby and made sure I understood all the steps and options available. When it came time for treatment, Dr. Rawlings printed out a cost per service receipt and explained each one before letting me pick which services we wanted. We were treated with kindness and respect and all of their actions were for the benefit of my baby. We will certainly be back for our routine care and all our veterinarian needs. Thank you!
I love this place. Lobby cat Frank is always great to see, the staff obviously truly loves cats - I brought my kitty in on hallowen and the vet was dressed as a cat, it was fantastic. They're always happy to give me advice over the phone and it's easy to get appointments, services have always been quick. My other kitty got a tooth pulled by them and was treated well and healed up quickly. Everyone there had a great sense of humor too!
Great veterinary clinic! Dr Rawlings is very compassionate and caring. I would highly recommend Broadway Veterinary Hospital.
They take great care of our little buddies!
Love this place.
My dogs have never been this comfortable in a vet clinic. Everyone working here is kind and knowledgeable and very helpful.
In February, I came home to find my cat drooling excessively and a large damp stain on the bed spread (it was urine). I also noticed a pack of Goody's headache powders (mixture of acetaminophen, aspirin, and caffeine) on the floor. This combination can be extremely harmful to cats. Concerned, my boyfriend and I took him to Broadway Veterinary Hospital. It was convenient since it was a block a way from our flat. When I got there, the front desk person was rude and seemed annoyed. I finally met with the veterinary, she barely let me explain my concern. She expressed no interest and appeared to want to get us out immediately. It wasn't until I mentioned the acetaminophen portion that her attention perked. They took him to do a blood test in another room where we weren't allowed. We started to hear our cat freaking out - yelling and shrieking, items crashing to the floor, and people yelling "Get her! Get her!" (My cats a boy, a fact we kept having to correct with the vet in our initial meeting. This was the first of many times they referred my cat as a "her" and a clear sign that they weren't listening) We became extremely suspicious of the fact that professional veterinarians and their assistants couldn't handle an 8lb cat. When they came back into the room, we were waiting nervously after hearing the "chase". They asked if they could sedate him because they were still unable to hold him down and take blood (I had a vet in Chicago and Barcelona, Spain administer shots to him without any trouble). At that point we really had no choice but to say ok, still thinking why on earth can't these people handle a little cat? After they did some blood work a new doctor came in and said--and I remember this verbatim, because of how ridiculous it was--that "even though we found no signs of any of these ingredients in 'her' system, we are positive that she got into the powder." (Again, our cat is a male). I said "how's that?" to which they responded with a one of many long, convoluted, indirect answers. Upset, I began crying and they were taking advantage off that. They were trying to really milk this into as much money as they could. But, upset and crying, I felt like I had no choice. They would say, many times, things like "he WILL die soon unless we do X Y and Z", and "oh my god! I've never heard of this stuff but this will kill him quickly unless we do something!" I understood that this could potentially be very serious, but he showed no symptoms and tests were negative, so why go on and on and tell us he's going to die?!? So unprofessional. At some point, we a third doctor took over our case as the second one was leaving (it was like the changing of the guards) and this doctor brought out a text book. ?!?! She used the textbook to look up side effects and symptoms, (also kept calling him "her" after we corrected her many times). She said that our cat would be in the clear if he seems good after 12 hours..then it changed to 24 hours...eventually she ended with a recommended 72 hours. ?!?! They said that we should then take "her" to another affiliated hospital and do more tests and overnight stays, which would cost anywhere between $2000 and $4000. We said well, let's keep him here overnight check on him in the morning. So far, the service totaled to $600 and they promised that we would receive a call the following morning at 7:00AM. We did not. Instead, we ended up calling them at 7:30AM and they informed us he still did not exhibit any symptoms and they STILL wanted to keep him an extra day. At this point, we decided to get our cat back (to which they passively aggressively warned us against). When we picked him up and brought him home, he had DRIED POOP on his leg and on his stomach. My boyfriend stormed back and demanded to know why our cat was smothered in his own feces and why it had not be cleaned. The vet responded, "oh, I'm so sorry. Sometimes this happens..." ?!?! Our cat is fine and we ended up paying $600 for our cat to be covered in his own feces. Bottomline, DO NOT SEND YOUR PET HERE.
gross and dirty, usually busy and cannot get helped at time of visits, rude when putting our dog to sleep I'd say medical neglect towards Animals the doctor I didn't feel he could properly diagnosis ppl animals. If you love your pet this is not a place to take them.
"I have been bringing my dog, Emma to BVH for over ten years and they have always treated her with the uttermost care and attention through surgeries, dental cleaning, boarding and general health care. I feel confident that under Dr Greg McWilliams and his great staff she is receiving the best treatment I could wish for, especially as she is now in her senior years. Thank you."
A great experience! They saved my dog who was choking on a ball - a very terrifying experience. The all female staff that was working (I understand there was a change in ownership from previous reviews) took immediate action, calming both of us down as soon as we arrived. They were caring and all four staff members were so nice about staying after hours to finish taking care of him.
They're flexible on when we bring our cat in, and took great car of her when she had to have teeth pulled. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the doctors are great!
Great people, so great in treating my Bandito kitty. I recommend this place to anyone who has a furry friend.
This place is amazing, I felt immediately at home it's like walking into a livingroom not a sterile vet environment. My dog Chester is 13 and he immediately senses when he's in a vet. Not this place, the first time we arrived he didn't shake at all. They took amazing care of him (thank you Ryan and staff) and they even have a coffee machine with ceramic mugs! The most amazing thing is that they don't OVERCHARGE and push unnecessary tests. I'm sorry I didn't find it sooner but so happy I did. The first time I came in, I was in a panic over finding doggie day care and they recommended City Dog and even found a coupon for me. Thank you Broadway Vet Hospital!!
We've been taking our two dogs to BVH for a little over two years now. They've seen us through some tough times and were always kind, understanding and patient. Our (now 13-year-old) Westie had TPLO surgery in August 2015, which was done in-house by Dr. McWilliams. Dr. McWilliams and his staff knocked it out of the park and our pup has recovered beautifully. The BVH team is now seeing us through the heartbreaking diagnosis of Westie Lung Disease, and continues to be patient and collaborative while we work through treatment options. I couldn't ask for a better partner as we navigate the tough road ahead. I'd recommend BVH to anyone.
They got the job done, just not well. I took both my dogs there, and even my happy go lucky dog was terrified, this never happens. They gave them shots, and I thought I had to take them to back for an Emergency, because they couldn't go for walks, and kept yelping when walking. I have had my dogs since 2009 and this has never happened before at other vets. The front desk staff seems to be annoyed and inconvenienced while assisting customers. Don't believe me just call and ask a simple question. Granted this happened fall 2015, but the annoyed front desk person had a repeat again today 3/16 when I checked up to see where the vet visit reminder was, I switched vets after that phone call.
"I went into the appointment extremely disappointed and not fully informed from the last visit. I knew what I wanted, what I needed for Kylie but didn't feel like I was being listened to. That totally changed. I think there have been changes in the people on the front desk and I had a great conversation with Dr. Greg McWilliams about the care of my pets. I've spent about $2,000 on the both of them on various challenges and I have no regrets. They are happier, have better coats, they are putting on weight they needed, my female cat has a healthier mouth and they are both exhibiting behavior of a well loved and cared for pets."
Broadway Veterinary Clinic did an excellent job providing end-of-life care to my little cat, Dixie. I really appreciate how quickly they moved on trying to diagnose her, as well as their honesty in providing a cost-benefit analysis of how far to take her care. They were exceptionally communicative, understanding, caring and kind. Even though I was out of town during her quick heath decline, they spoke with me multiple times a day and included me in everything they did for her. It was really hard being gone while she was going through such a tough time, but I honestly felt very comforted by the fact that they were watching over her and giving her a bunch of love in my absence. I really appreciate everything you guys did for her and can't thank you enough. =)
Great customer service. They are kind and compassionate, they prices are competitive and affordable.
Why would you put a diabetic cat on weightloss food? They told me to put the insulin in the wrong spot. Had to get a second opion. It feels like this place is a school and not a good place to take your loved ones too.
We've used Broadway Veterinary Hospital for years, for dogs and our cat. The service has always been good, but it's now exceptionally good under Dr. Greg McWilliams. He and the staff are a rare combination of being both empathetic and highly skilled and up-to-date. Loved it that we could get same-day (or even while-you-wait) results for tests.
Absolutely amazing experience every time we go in. I've been to a lot of different vets in my lifetime and Broadway is by far the most down to earth and sensitive. I would recommend them to anyone.
Do not go to this place for an emergency. This place advertises themselves as a "24 hr emergency hospital" but it wasn't for us. Our dog became anemic due to internal bleeding so we went here as it was closest hospital to us. It was about 7pm on a saturday. We were let in the front door to be told that there were no doctors on site and they sent us away. This is a very dangerous false advertisement when in an emergency situation.
I choose this clinic because I thought being a 24/7 clinic meant specialists were on staff. My cat had a blocked urethra, and he came home after a three night stay bleeding. After a week, we returned. They did unnecessary exploratory surgery. My cat was clearly in ongoing pain, I was told it was my own head. He was peeing blood everywhere. Dr. McWilliams said I was a "bad match" for my cat and offered to keep him for a week. During that week, I assumed he would observe and treat my cat's medical symptoms and stop blaming them on my imagination. He did not. He simply kept him caged, and when I responded with alarm after finding out at the end of that week (I called daily and was assured tests were being run) he reassured me everything could be fixed with a PU surgery. A PU surgery is only appropriate for a cat with repeated blocks -- not one block that a vet screws up. The PU surgery site then became infected. Again, he blew me off -sent the cat home in a restraining cone, no meds, no pain killers saying it wasn't an infection, just irritation from overgrooming. The infection was so severe you could smell it. With the cone on, he couldn't clean off the pus so you could see it, too. At that point we went to Blue Pearl Veterinary who fixed up the surgery site infection, assessed the situation with a diagnostic ultrasound (rather than an exploratory surgery as was performed TWICE at Broadway) and sent us home with the correct antibiotics and pain meds. His behavior changed immediately -- I was not "imagining" his pain. However, due to the PU surgery, my cat now has recurrent UTIs (5 in the past 18 months), and the bacteria is now resistant to most antibiotics. All this because I was too stupid to go to Blue Pearl in the first place. Do not take your cat with bladder or urinary blocks to this place. Please. PS -- Dr. McWilliams made transgender jokes about the PU surgery. That's like saying a man who loses his penis in an accident or from cancer is now a woman. Not scientifically or politically correct. He also said he hoped I would abandon my cat to him to keep as an office cat he could use as a blood donor. PPS -- Get Trupanion Insurance.
Awesome vet! They've been caring for my chickens for years.
NEVER EVER EVER take your pet here if you care about their well being.
Dr. McWilliams is a very compassionate and intelligent vet and the rest of the staff at Broadway Vet Hosp is also top notch!
Have been taking my cats here for almost 10 years, the office & staff have changed in that time but the great care they receive has not. From the front desk to techs to the vet, everyone has always been helpful answering questions & kind when I've been scared because my furry friends were sick.
I would never leave your pets with this guy. No excuse for animal abuse
I loved this clinic. It's not our usual clinic, as it was a holiday; however, my dog and I were treated like family. My dog was seen almost immediately and it was as pleasant an experience as possible. Highly recommend!
They were first there for us on an emergency with our lil Vizsla and we've been going here ever since! They are always available, very kind and courteous, and willing to spend the time with you to really explain what's going on and all your options. I would highly recommend Broadway Vet Hospital for all your emergency and non-emergency pet needs!
Great staff and treatment for my little bunny :)
Broadway's team is incredible. Whether it be the front desk, techs or the doctors, it is very obvious that each genuinely cares about your pet and is passionate about providing awesome care and answering any questions. Would give more stars if I could!
