Only used a year before I got fed up with the upcharging. $17 for nail trim when spent $500 or more for boarding. Holds prescriptions hostage unless you pay for an annual wellness exam. Every time went in was always something. I’ve since talked to others who left for same reason. Bad practice when becomes more about $ than the animals comfort So part two Against my will went back in to bostic to get Heartworm meds for two dogs hadn’t gotten to new vet yet. Again would not release due to no annual wellness exam. Now I get that they’re required to see the animals prior to giving meds, so they see them quite often through the year. They go in for grooming, they board there, they get they’re Heartworm tests there, I buy my meds from them so they know they’re taken care of. Why must I get charged a ridiculous fee for them to look at them again? Sure if I’m a new client or haven’t been in for awhile, but come on people! I’m a responsible owner trying to keep my dogs healthy. I can afford to pay your fee, but why should I? Btw way people - there’s vets out there that aren’t all about the money but making sure owners can get affordable care. As far as Sammy goes, if you indeed cared about him. You’d be happy to help make his time left comfortable.

Dr. Manning is awesome with my girls. I would invite all who are not quite satisfied with their vets or to get a second opinion to call and make an appointment. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable as well. The practice is conveniently located in Kempsville area of Virginia beach. If you try them you won't be disappointed.

Dr. Manning and the staff are awesome! This guy knows his stuff and clearly cares about every single pet he sees. The other staff members were also super kind and helpful with getting us in and seen quickly. This is the place to go! Dorito the puppy highly approves of these people, too.

i love Bostic vet... everyone is always so nice. they have been there for me a many of times. Dr.Manning is the one i see all time,..he is ok...lol...lol..love him to death. he is a wonderful vet and a great person,he lets me pick on him..thanks again for everything you guys do....
