This is a new vet to us as we recently moved to the area and came highly recommend from friends! I’m grateful of the recommendation but more importantly I’m grateful of the staff and the care we received. They have taken great care of my bulldogs eye infection and continue to call and check in. They are always very patient with us and very gentle with handling our furry friend!

Emily Crawford, Kelly Crawford and the entire team at Waterbury Vet Hospital are top notch. I've been taking my "family" (three dogs and a cat) there since they opened. Everyone there is professional, knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. If you're looking for a vet who will get to know and truly care for and about your pets, while offering the very best and most up-to-date medical care, this is the place for you. They recently nursed my 10-year-old lab through a serious illness. They took exceptional care of him and they also took exceptional care of me during what was a really scary time. I can't recommend them highly enough!

While my recent visit to the vet was one of sadness. I had to put my old cat Cali down. She lived a long and happy life. Kelly Crawford and the rest of the staff were wonderful to us! They were so caring in my time of sadness. Never making me feel like I did the wrong thing. The whole time we were there, she or someone explained everything along the way. Through my tears and sniffles they patiently told us the options we had etc. It made a horrible time, into a bearable experience. If you are looking for someone to give your animals lots of love and treat you like family, I highly recommend bringing your pets here!!

We recently switched from another veterinarian to this one after a recommendation from a friend. After two visits, we are very happy with our decision. The staff is all so kind and helpful. They give great recommendations/advice without being too pushy. And the visits have been quick and to the point. To top it off, after our last visit the vet herself called to personally check in on our dog which was very kind. If you’re looking for a vet, check this place out!

My dog's paws were badly bruised on vacation. Despite knowing that I would not be a regular, Dr. Fritz was attentive to this and his other conditions, inquiring about his allergies as well. She was also the second vet (out of many) to notice he has a heart murmur. She was sensitive to my concerns and not at all pushy with her recommendations (refreshing when most of the vets I've encountered want to push prescriptions, pills, and other band-aid fixes). Very considerate and caring staff. Chris also provided me with an IV bag to soak my dog's paws. The office is also extremely clean. My dog didn't hesitate to enter. Love is in the details!

I chose this vet after much searching when I knew I was going to get a puppy. I wanted someone I could ask a million questions to, who had patience, and where the vet office didn't smell like, well, an animal clinic! I got all of that and more with the staff here. I was there a lot, with the new pup! They were so happy to see my baby girl every time, And were awesome answering all of my emails (new dog mom with lots of worrying and questions!). They never made me feel like a pain. :-) Unfortunately I recently had to transfer to a vet closer to me, because of my new work schedule but for a year and a half they took the best care of my Bernese Mountain dog Ziva and me. I highly recommend this group of caring and talented people to love your pets through all of their appointments.

Dr. Emily Crawford and her staff are a model for other veterinary clinics to emulate: professional, caring, thorough, thoughtful, up to date with current best practices and excellent with follow up. Seeing the negative posting from "Green Mountain Steve" -- WHO HAS NEVER BEEN TO THE CLINIC and apparently doesn't have a last name -- was stunning because what he wrote is the antithesis of the reality. Waterbury Veterinary Hospital provides exceptional care to our beloved animals and we trust Dr. Emily and the entire staff with the lives of our pets. Steve Woodard was indeed a much loved vet -- and it was Dr. Emily Crawford who stepped in to help when Steve was so very ill.

I have been taking my dogs to WVH for almost 6 years. The doctors there are kind, considerate, and patient in explaining what is going on with my dogs, what to expect, and what options I have. The support staff (admins and techs) are equally amazing. They always provide excellent customer service, are sure to get back to me promptly, and provide accurate advance estimates of costs. When my first dog, Milo, passed last year, the compassion I felt from WVH was incredible. I know my pets are in more than capable hands here.
