The staff and Dr.'s are wonderful. They got my pup Hiro in when I needed them most. He had a run in with a porcupine and was in a lot of pain. They did a great job. Hiro stayed and serenaded all afternoon.

My name is Haley and I'm 16 and I'm currently in the 10th grade in high school and I want to find a job and help animals but would you have a job about cleaning the animals and their cages and you can give them their shots and with me helping out with cleaning would I be able to get paid because it would help me out with getting paid so i could hrlp me mom out and I love animals and I love taking care of the animals I would love to get a job so I could help out with animals so they can be healthier for a while till they need more shots witch you guys would give to them because of the needles.

My senior dog, "Laska", injured his leg jumping up on the bed last week. Although they were very busy and I was in between vets, they took Laska in and looked him over and prescribed him pain medication. I received follow up phone calls from Marie, asking how he was doing and was given follow up care for his comfort. Everyone greeted him with open arms (and TREATS!). I'm happy to report, that one week later, Laska is walking on all fours again, and is happy and healthy. Thank you to the kind and compassionate staff at St. Johnsbury Animal Hospital. A while ago I tried to adopt a cat from here. I had visited the cat before, and filled out the paperwork to adopt. The second time I went in there they were very rude. Especially one lady. They were acting as if they didn't want me to adopt the cat. Rather than being excited about it. After I filled out the paperwork they denied my request to adopt for NO reason. Also they lied about calling my references. I checked with both and neither got a call. This was an older cat who has been in the shelter his whole life so far and they wouldn't let me give him a home. They are EXTREMELY disrespectful. The place is not very clean. I was sneezing like crazy and I do not have any allergies. Some of the cats definitely looked undernourished and they would fight each other for the food when it was given to them.

Roommates dog got fixed here and he was swindled into buying a inflatable neck ring for $25 to prevent licking and chewing of the wound. To sum it up the dog can take the ring off with ease in just a few seconds. Do not go for the inflatable neck ring no matter what they say. What annoyance, though the dog is still alive.

I love this Animal Hospital. I have been bringing our pets to this office for about 15 years now. The staff are compassionate and caring. I feel like they love our animals and truly want whats best for them. They are always pleasant and upbeat and communicate with me well about any concerns or needs of our pets.
