I have been bringing my pets here for over twenty years. When I moved a little further North, I tried another veterinarian as Ryegate is a 45-60 minute drive. However, I quickly found myself back here as the care that Dr. Jill and Dr. Hyde provide is so far superior to the other veterinarian that I just couldn't sacrifice my "kids" health for my convenience. They have always been able to squeeze me in when needed and are so truly compassionate and caring. Their staff are also wonderful and so kind to my animals. As someone whose animals are truly family in every sense, I cannot express how grateful I am to Dr. Jill, Dr. Hyde and all the staff at Ryegate Small Animal Hospital.

Love this place. Staff and Doctors are always so good with my big baby. They always get him in quick when needed and listen to my concerns. While my daughter is taking Moose to live with her she will definitely still bring him there even though it will be a long ride. If I ever get another pet of my own this is where they will come without a doubt.

Very respectful and were very helpful with my cat that gave birth to 7 cats and were able to save 4 and helped me and gave me tips on how to help them! Took them in when I called them for an emergency. Awesome vet!

Dr. David Hyde is extremely gifted as a canine dental surgeon. He is also fearless & confident which my greyhound noticed right away. Dr. Hyde has given my dog a much better quality of life with his remarkable skill.I also appreciated the consultation room where Dr. Hyde went over every detail of my greyhound's condition. With his help, I expect my best friend, Tucker, to live a long happy life.

The male doctor is very nice, compassionate and helpfull. The female doctor stressed my dog out so bad, he wouldn't leave my side for two days. Some of the staff are very nice. Most make it known if they don't like you or your dog.

Dr. Jill and Dr. Hyde are both fantastic vets and all their staff are wonderful as well. Have been bringing our dogs here for 14 years. They were also very accommodating when we were dog sitting and the pup tore a claw off and then the next year we dog sat the same dog and she swallowed our puppy’s toy (yes, her owners have let her stay with us since then but luckily we have not had to make anymore vet visits!)

OMG my experience was amazing. I lost my husband 1 yr ago and now have his service dog,a 6 yr old black lab. Willow had been going crazy trying to itch her head. I thought she had a fly in her ear the way she cried and flapped her gorgeous ears.I am a visitor for summer and usual vet was off. When I called Ryegate animal hospital they were happy to see her that very day. Dr. Jill was fantastic! Reassured me no flys in there so felt around her head and ears. She shaved area and cleaned her many 'bumps' of a heat rash!!! which was now infected. She put her on a daily antibiotic and reassured me she will heal , feel less itchy now that air can heal her skin. I would give 6 stars if I could and would refer anyone who desires unrushed, caring and competent animal care to the Ryegate Animal Hospital. Thanks to everyone there:)
