Both of my dogs can't wait to get out of the car and into the waiting room - I think that says it all. However, I would add without hesitation that the staff at Norwich Regional Animal Hospital (NOAH) goes beyond kind and caring. They treat both of my dogs like their own. And, although both can get a little anxious, everyone at NOAH does everything to make them feel at ease and comfortable. Plus, a visit is always easy to schedule.

I've been bringing my pets to Norwich Regional Animal Hospital for the past few years, they are the only veterinarian team I trust with my pets and are worth the drive for me all the way from Enfield! Everyone is kind, compassionate and thorough. I always appreciate being welcomed with a smile, my pets treated like their pets, and I always leave knowing my pets have been in good hands and thoroughly checked! Can't recommend them enough! Thanks Norwich Regional Animal Hospital! :)

Love Dr. Lessar and Stephanie and Dave. They are such a great team of people and take super good care of my puppy. They were recommended to me by three different people and for good reason. I feel like they all love and take good care of my pet. Also, the building and waiting rooms are really nice and clean. Dr. Lessar knows her stuff and comes up with great and creative solutions. I like that she understand budget restrictions and can work with you to find alternatives before going to the most expensive solution. If you want a vet/group of people that are patient, know their stuff and are incredibly kind, this is the place to go. I highly, highly highly recommend.

One Star is too high for this institution. The vet that worked with us completely misdiagnosed our healthy six month old chocolate lab, ran unnecessary tests, and even misdiagnosed an ear infection. We were told to "seek immediate medical attention at CAVES in Concord" because our dog probably had lepto (which he had been vaccinated for) or toxic hepatitis. We relied on their professional expertise and they led us in a completely wrong direction. Our dog received a subcutaneous fluid injection, which is all he needed. He was dehydrated. The veterinarian acted like he had a fever that was life threatening and we later learned, from someone much more knowledgeable, that his temperature was on the high side of normal, not even close to critical care temperature. I asked the vet why she didn't start with a basic giardia (intestinal bacteria) test and she was completely rude, acting like it was a ridiculous question. When we went in to talk to the manager after finding out our dog was simply dehydrated, we were informed that "this is what they do with puppies with a belly ache" and acted like they did us a big favor by getting our dog in the day we called for an appointment. I would never take any of my pets here and I certainly wouldn't recommend them. The vet that worked with us also spoke very poorly about SAVES, and we had a great experience with them in June when we suddenly lost our nine year old chocolate lab from a rare heart condition. They were unprofessional and lacked basic diagnostic skill.

Very thorough service. You can tell that they truly care about their clients and their humans. The cheerful, friendly staff answered all our questions and even addressed issues/questions that we didn't realize we had until the subject was broached. I would recommend them to anyone.

Our female Scottie, Maddie, was having urinary problems. We took her to NOAH and Jennifer diagnosed bladder cancer. The cancer had metastasized, and as a result, Maddie was having seizures. after a few weeks of chemo, these ended. Now a couple of months later, Maddie is her old self, completely asymptomatic. Several things that make Jennifer such an excellent vet: 1. Her intelligence; her listening ability; her knowledge; her willingness to consult specialists for advice; her sense of caring for animals. 2. She also is an excellent manager, hiring very good, engaging people and keeping her hospital immaculate. One of her staff worked with her in Delaware and followed her to Vermont, testimony to her appreciation of Jennifer's ability, personality and character. 3. When animals are ill, Jennifer provides her cell phone number for use in emergencies. Our dogs have always been wary of veterinary establishments, but NOAH is different; Maddie loves to go there..

We love NOAH. Dr. Lesser is a kind, compassionate, competent provider who takes the time to listen and provide quality care. Her staff are energetic and caring, and ensure that pet and parent alike have had their needs met and concerns heard. Whenever I bring my dog in, he's met with an enthusiastic greeting from everyone-- receptionist, technicians, and veterinarian! Dr. Lesser will often get on the floor with Bentley, which shows me that she understands how to earn a dog's trust and get them to cooperate. The two times I've taken Bentley in for an un-well visit, staff have followed up with us the next day, either to deliver test results (all have been good!) or to check in to see how he's doing. That level of service makes NOAH stand out from other veterinarians we've seen in the past. I don't even think my own human PCP makes follow-up calls! It's also worth mentioning that the interior is beautiful and clean. It's nice to wait and be seen in a comfortable environment-- especially when you're there because your pet is unwell-- and even when they're there for a routine checkup. All in all, I highly recommend NOAH. I only hope we can find a doctor as wonderful as Dr. Lesser when we move to our next state.

We've had a great experience at Norwich regional animal hospital so far. We've been in for tick control, porcupine quill removal, and regular checkups. They strike a great balance between presenting a laid-back setting while providing top-notch care.

Everything about the visit was very professional and high quality. This was our first visit and the exam was very thorough. They had clearly reviewed our file before the visit and put together a comprehensive history, and during the visit they took the time to listen to all of our questions and concerns. Lab results came back very quickly, and not only was the full report sent directly to us, but they provided a clear breakdown of all the key factors. Dr. Hazzard seems like a vet who is very knowledgeable and dedicated to providing quality care.

We adopted a new cat in Dec 2017, 8 months old, and at the same time changed veterinary services because our previous one was sold and our regular vet had retired. We are more than pleased with the care our cat has received. The Vets, Techs and office personnel are friendly, considerate and caring people. The physical space is bright, cheery and conveniently located on RT#5, Wilder across from the Dothan School. We definitely recommend the Norwich Regional Animal Hospital to anyone looking for good, long-term vet.

Dr. Katy Hazzard and the Norwich Animal Hospital team are amazing. The care that my furry companion (a very sweet 17-year old diabetic kitty, named Tookay) received was top notch every time. When I had to make the very difficult decision to say goodbye to my kitty back in May after a sudden and end-stage illness, I couldn't have asked for a better experience when it came to the care and concern and time that Dr. Hazzard gave in the process. Dr. Hazzard walked me and my partner through all of our options for end-of-life care/treatment for Tookay, and also gave us the time to make the decisions we needed to in such a difficult moment. I would highly recommend Norwich Animal Hospital to anyone who wants to feel like you are treated like family.

They have cared for my cats over the past 18 months and have been really wonderful. One of my cats died of intestinal lymphoma over the NY Eve holiday weekend (within 5 months of moving to the Upper Valley). All of the staff were incredibly supportive and helpful. Would not take my animals anywhere else!

The corp that bought this practices has destroyed what once was one of the best practices ever. I hear they fired the original owner. Go some place else.
