The team at Montpelier Veterinary Hospital is amazing. I can't recommend them enough. They truly care about our pets. They have been a great at identifying troubles as well as regular maintenance of health for all of our pets.

The veterinary staff were helpful in formulating a treatment plan that suited our pet and our budget- be prepared to explain your needs. The front desk staff do seem to carry the air that they are burdened with providing customer service. The above may be related to the following recent discovery: If you want to get your prescriptions from an online distributor, you'll have to send the prescription in via snail mail. I contacted my online pharmacy and they confirmed that they have this clinic on file as "will not fax prescriptions" and requires clients to physically pick up their scripts in order to mail them.

Switched to these guys after we got sick of having our other local vet blow through money like it was no big deal. These people are compassionate, caring, and understanding. They are very informative about options and processes. It doesn't look like a high end establishment from the outside. But the doctors are first rate.

I'm so impressed! I called them with a question about my cat. The receptionist asked detailed questions, conferred with the tech, and told me that my cat is probably fine. She said that she would happy to schedule an exam, if I wanted, and told me what it cost, but said that it probably wasn't necessary. She could have suggested an expensive exam or said that she only handles appointments and can't give advice. Instead, she worked with the tech to give conscientious advice for free. I'll definitely take my cat here, when she does need an exam.

Dr. Drolet has helped me through the last few nights when my oldest dog has had his first seizures. When no other professionals are available to talk (after hours- you never when things will happen), he has taken my emergency calls and given me advice and support. It’s so hard to know what to do when a situation arises that you are unfamiliar with. His calming and compassionate demeanor do not go unrecognized. I highly recommend and trust him and his opinion. Thank you for all of your time and patience throughout this trying time.

I was nervous when the ownership of this vet clinic turned over. Our former vet had operated on our old dog twice and I trusted him completely. AND... I am completely pleased with the new vets! Everyone there was fantastic! From the ladies at the front desk, to the tech's, and the doctors themselves. They were so patient and understanding of my dog's issues and I highly recommend them. It is such a relief that my dog can get such fantastic care and I don't have to drive up to Burlington!

The vet was able to see my dog without an appointment and I was very grateful. I had to wait a bit but that is to be expected. Vet was very helpful, answered all my questions and did not do unnecessary treatments. The office also contacted me the next day to see how she was doing. Great service and at a reasonable price.
