We have been taking all our animals, large and small to Dr. Patin since he opened his practice in Bulverde, many years ago. He is an outstanding Vet. His staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The clinic is modern and immaculate.

I can't give them zero stars, so I have to give them one. First let me say that I will never ever take my animals to this clinic. They have a receptionist named Kathy who is completely unprofessional, unfriendly, and unaware of what customer service is. She is extremely hateful and rude, and should never be allowed to interact with the capacity in any capacity whatsoever. I hope one day Dr. Patin will see this review and see what a venomous viper he has working for him. I'm new to the area, and I have five animals for which I'm seeking a new veterinarian. He'll never see any of that money because the initial point of contact, Kathy, aka Satan, can't act like a professional over the phone.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Patin and his loving staff. They are the BEST. Another vet clinic in the Spring Branch Bulverde area misdiagnosed my dog Twice. He was literally close to death and Dr. Patin diagnosed him in literally one minute and then called Texas A&M to confirm the diagnosis. He started treatment immediately. Not only is my precious dog still alive, but he is thriving. I am blessed to be their customer. They love my dog and helped me when I was devastated.

What a friendly and attentive staff. Toom my cat for a amputation consultation that another vet said he needed. Country Hills diagnosed him with severe arthritis and saved his leg!!! They were thorough and professional. Highly recccomend.

My first experience was 14 years ago approximately. I have never had a bad experience. I now live in the city with a Vet about 200 yards from my house. I still drive to Country Hills because I've found Dr. Patin to be honest and practical. Glad to see his business continue to grow but maintain great service and care.

This clinic is currently holding my dog hostage, the owners wife found my dog and rather than take it to the local pound took it to their clinic and posted they had it on a local Facebook lost pets page, when I responded to it and asked for my dog back the wife text me to tell me that I would have to pay the money to get my dog back, and then had their friends taunt me in the lost dogs Facebook page, after speaking with others that have dealt with them after loosing pets or people they knew that did, I’ve found out that this is a common practice of theirs, unethical to say the least, give us our dog back....

I've used this Veterinary Clinic for many years now very pleasant vet very pleasant staff I just can't board my kitty cat there there in metal cages aluminum I guess you want to call it stainless steel whatever and they're very small and my kitty cat gets cold and is too small for her bed too small for her stuff but I like the vet he's very good with my kitty cat

Don't go here. This vet is a money loving individual who preys on people's vulnerabilities with pet emergencies. He charged us $2,000 for our pet to receive an I.V. and seizure medication. I think that if your smart you'll do your homework and find someone who is willing to help your pet and not swindle ever last penny he can for his own usage. I'm so upset, I'm done with these types of characters and now have found a new vet home.

So far I cannot complain about this place spoke to Lisa and Dana there they're both wonderful! We still have not received our puppy that is to arrive in about 2 weeks, so we're looking around for a vet in our area. We called first then drove out to meet the staff and see where the office is. The staff makes you feel right at home!

Thank you so much to Dr Patin, Dr Mia and the wonderful staff.... We have been through a tough weekend with two kitties that were adopted from the NB Humane Society. After one of the kitties died, Mia saw the second kitty and diagnosed her with Panleukopenia Virus .. Since it was a Saturday and they are closed on Sunday and Monday(Memorial Day) Mia made sure that we had her number to give her a call if we needed her. I have called Dr Patin many times in the middle of the night because I am such a paranoid pet owner and he has always been there for us. I'm not sure what the last two reviewers are talking about, but Kathy is NOT unprofessional or 'Satan" Kathy has taken care of our animals before when were out of town and I would trust her with any of them. She and the staff have come in on Sundays' because we wanted to pick up our animals from boarding and not make them stay another night. Perhaps you were having a bad day, but I know that what you are saying is not the truth. Regarding the cost.. Dr Patin is the most honest vet you will find. He will tell you what treatment route is best, but will also tell you alternatives if there are. He has referred me to other Vets if he felt it was necessary. I 'interviewed' at least 5 different vets in the area before I found Country Hills Vet.. they won because they are the best.. bottom line. From the owner to the receptionist, to the vet techs and the kennel staff.. you will not find a group of people that care for your animals more than they do. Once you go there, you will see that you are part of their family. Thank you for all you do!!!

Awesome place with the best staff. Very caring critter lovers with an exceptional vet, Dr. Patton. He is not only knowledgeable, but he is compassionate and understanding. I am thankful that our pet care needs are never in question and boarding with them is real price of mind when we are force to be away from our furry family members. Thanks for the awesome work you all do..... PS Kathy is sweet and while she may be an angel, in no way resembles Satan as some other reviewer suggested - WOW!

I know Kenny Patin on a personal level as well as a professional level and he has integrity and runs a top notch clinic. Country Hills staff and Kenny have got to be some of the kindest people I know. Each time I go in I'm greeted with a smile and the best service. I called in to order flea meds for my dog and they delivered it to my front door with no additional charge so how is that for service? They are the best and come highly recommended!

Horrible Vet! Took in a stool sample for my Llama, Alpaca and goat first thing in the morning and had to call them 6 hours later and still no results! called again 2 hours later and got disconnect and call back and Dr. Patin answered the phone very rudely , I told him we need results for the stool sample , he just yelled at me THEY HAVE WORMS , THEY NEEDED TO BE WORMED EVERY MONTH!. I asked him what type of worms and what was the worm load because with camelids you need to know this and he would not tell me! So I had to take all three samples to a vet 2 hours away who knows how to treat camelids and they do not have worms! They are at normal levels and not treatment needed! You don't just worm animals every month! They keep asking for payment and I don't believe they even ran a test! They couldn't tell me what type of worm or what worm load number they were.
