Dr. Bill is great. I took my 6 month boxer to another vet and got really vague answers and said if he didn't get better they would refer us to get an MRI. That evening our Augie got worse we didnt know if he was going ti make it or if we would have to put him down. My coworker referred me to Bill and said she had complete trust in him. Dr. Bills office squeezed us in and Dr. Bill said we didnt need an MRI but just needed to keep him full of meds to allow his body to heal. Two days later my Augie was able to get up on his own and walk again. We are extremely grateful to have our baby on the mend!

I would like to thank everyone at the Bridgeport Animal Hospital. I brought my 13 year old Junior in to be put out if his pain. Though it was one of the most hardest things I have ever done, the staff made it comforting for his last moments. Even though y'all was not his vet services, I am ever grateful to the care that you took wuth him and me. It means more than you know! Y'all have a wonderful staff and I would recommend you to everyone I know.

This place is the BEST! A neighbor found a feral kitten. He broke both his hind legs from an engine fan!! I rushed him here. Dr Bill took amazing care of this baby! The technicians were fantastic! They poured lots of love & attention into him. He stop hissing & started purring! I can’t thank Dr Bill & the women for helping us!! They have huge hearts & made the surgery affordable!! I am forever thankful for everything!!

Best vet around. Have to use for more of my complicated decisions on my animals as far as surgery is but they are by far the best veterinary clinic near Bridgeport. They take care of horses farm animals anything you have they are wonderfully staffed and very well, accommodated to meet your needs

Quite disappointed. I moved to the area a couple years back and after research, decided this would be the best place to bring my dog for his health needs. The staff was friendly, the doctor was great. So when I found an injured pigeon, I also brought him here for surgery and now he is my beloved bird with a crooked beak. However, I stumbled upon a dog last night, who was dragging his back right leg (I assume after being hit by a car).. I stopped and after much effort was able to get him in my car. I knocked on doors, stopped people driving by to try to find this Pup's home. No body claimed him or to know where he lived. I called the 24 hour emergency line, left a message and was called back in a reasonable amount of time.. the doctor asked a few questions to see how dire the situation was "because he was dealing with a family situation" which I completely understand, so I said I would make him as comfortable as I could for the night and bring him in, in the morning. I asked if I would need an appointment, he said they would work the pup in. Right at opening, i arrive with the pup. Immediately I was asked if I would assume responsibility for his expenses.. My husband and I live a very simple life, he works and I take care of the home and our animals. An exam (appointment) is 44 dollars, the x-rays.. over 100, plus pain medicine which would be "tried to kept under 100"... I absolutely wanted him to be cared for, but I just could not afford this place. I had 100 dollars in my wallet, that was for gas and small needs throughout the week. Kindly, an employee helped us outside and referred us to the decatur clinic, she said they were less expensive. So I headed that way.. Decatur took care of the pup with the 100 dollars that I had to offer... I understand the need for the clinic to make money, but animals should not just be viewed as dollar signs.

We have use them for 25 years they are great and so good with animals. Today was our little babies first puppy cut and she is so cute Bridgeport Animal Hospital did such a great job and she wasn't even afraid when I got over there to pick her up. Animals know good people when they see them. Thanks you guys Cinnamon looks amazing.

We've been using this place for our animals for over 21 years and have always been very satisfied with the care our animals receive. The vets and their staff really are so good with our dog now and give him great care. We also use their kennel service and they do a wonderful job and we never have to worry about him when we're gone out of town. Highly recommend this place!!

This is a really nice veterinary hospital. I’m from out d town and visit a couple times a year. Every time I’ve needed them, they got us right in. They do a great job of teeth cleaning. My dog didn’t come out loopy and tripping or whining. They got that down to a tee. Thanks you BAH for being so caring. I needed something to settle my cat and dog down on our trip to Mexico. Instead of giving me drugs, he recommended some homeopathic pill. Worked like a charm. Calm, cool, collective. 3 days of driving and they were the best driving buddies. So I highly recommend them. The staff is super nice and care for these animals.

Traveling through the area from out of state with a sick dog. Called and they squeezed us in. Saw the vet who was very caring and helpful. Everyone there was friendly and caring. Was on the road traveling with my dog when I saw his ears were infected. I was able to get my dog in to see the vet the same day I called. The staff was welcoming and we were seen on time. They were able to treat my dog and recommended ways to treat his allergies, which caused the infected ears. The cost for treatment was reasonable. It has been a few days now and he is on the mend. If I lived in the area, I would take my dog there for all of his needs.

I was extremely impressed... The staff was courteous, professional and sympathetic. They treated my dog like it was my child, rather than just another dog. The Dr. was even more impressive. He didn't just ask general questions, he asked the precise questions. He took his time to listen, diagnose, and explain the small details to me that the other vets didn't. This Dr. was also far more knowledgeable than any vet in Decatur... I know this because I have been to all of them, numerous times before.. -Overall I felt that the Dr. and staff actually cared about my dogs outcome. My only regret is that I didn't know about Bridgeport Animal Hospital sooner. Hopefully this review will help other desperate people find them.

Everyone that works there is so nice and will do anything they can do to help. I recently got a puppy that wasn’t in the greatest health and they helped me create a plan for my puppy so she can become a healthy playing dog, and that’s exactly what happened! Never disappointed with this place

We have always been extremely satisfied with the quality of care and level of professionalism consistently displayed by everyone at BAH, in particular Dr. Williams. He has neutered our llamas, excised abscesses on our goats, and provided emergency care for several of our show geese who were injured by predators (but not all on the same visit, thank goodness). The premises are always clean and neat; the staff is always friendly and helpful. We highly recommend them to you.

If you have pot belly pigs as pets Dr Williams is terrific. I live in bowie and good pot belly vets are hard to find. I never write reviews on anything but Dr Williams is amazing I had to put up an amazing review. He is literally the best vet I've been to and I've been to quite a few. He treats my pot belly pig like the pet it is. some vets just see them as strictly farm animals but I love my babies and he treats them like they are my family. He talked with me about my poor baby that got heartworms from the previous owner of the house we bought left him there and how to treat him when I didn't even bring him in with my pig for like 15 to 20 minutes. Dr Williams takes time to answer questions and explain everything. He is extremely nice and thorough. Absolutely amazing vet hospital. Very clean and friendly staff. Good prices too. If they had more stars than five I would give them more lol.

On August 1st I called the doctor after hours, Dr. Williams answered and met me there. My sweet 14 Year old "Cooder " had a stroke, but he wasn't ready to give up yet and neither we're we. Dr. Williams is FANTASTIC!! LOVING, KIND, AND COMPASSIONATE ! In the end he still had to be put to sleep. It was very sad, but the sweetest moment you can think of. It wasn't cold and quick. He gave Cooder a shot to make him sleepy, (the whole time Dr. WILLIAMS & I both were petting and talking to him.) Then he gave Cooder a shot to end his suffering. He made a horrible moment very sweet and kind. I highly recommend Bridgeport Animal Hospital, and especially Dr. Williams!!
