Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Kim, at the front desk, is always friendly and helpful. The staff always make me feel like my pet is very important to them. I was extremely impressed with Dr. Perkins at a previous visit with my daughter-in-law and a dog they were contemplating adopting. She took a great amount of time to answer questions, listen to and explain issues, both physical and behavioral. She was extremely helpful and non-judgemental, but helped them understand the issues they were up against. They really appreciated her honesty and expertise.

This is an amazing practice! They worked my cat in (I wasn’t a client) on a Sat ASAP despite being completely booked. The Vet and all staff were great, caring and very reasonably priced. I will bring all of our small animals here! I am so glad I found them, and highly recommend.

Bringing our cat Arabelle to TAC in Hendersonville was the best decision we have have made! They have worked hard to make sure our fur baby is taken care of an comfortable. There was a point in time that we thought we might lose her, but Dr. Piper has done everything she can to make sure that doesn’t happen and we are forever grateful for her. Not only does she seem knowledgeable but she truly cares about Arabelle and it is shown in every interaction. Their kindmess extended past office hours and they shared insight and ideas for care with us (not to mention personal phone numbers in case of questions) Both Wendy and Josh were really amazing allowing us to call numerous times with additional questions and to share our worries. I can't honestly rate this business's services because my dog and I received none. I recently moved to Hendersonville and picked this vet because of the great reviews. After calling to make an appointment for a simple nail trim I was told to bring my dog anytime from 2-6. In hindsight, maybe this should have been an indication of what occurred. After waiting for half an hour, I asked when we would be taken back to be told there were several appointments ahead. My disappointment and frustration stem from not being told this when I called to initially make an appointment or told this when I arrived. Had any of these steps been taken I may have been a returning customer or an actual customer.

I was shocked when my fiance came home and told me they charged him $86 for an office visit along with an aspiration of a burst abcess which they were not able to retrieve any fluid from. It doesn't seem like the honest thing to do.

The vet & staff are wonderful to my pet & to me. They alway help her with any issue she is having, & help me not to worry so much. They take the time to answer any questions I have, even if I forget to ask something until I get home, I can call them back & they will answer my question.

Above and Beyond! My family had to evacuate to Hendersonville from FL as IRMA was headed towards them. They rented a car and drove up with the entire family, including 2 dogs. They had to get shots and records to fly back to florida so I suggested they come here (They used to groom my cat). When my sister went to pick pay, they wouldnt take their money. They said they had been through enough so it was free of charge. My sister was speechless. This would not happen in Florida. Thank you Animal Clinic for showing why Tennessee is a great place to live!

The vets are okay.. can’t say the same about the staff. They can be very rude especially if you turn down the extra expensive they offer. I’ve used their service for my two cats , but after the last visit I doubt very seriously I will be taking them back..

I am changing my rating from a 5 star down to Two. Since Dr. Shannon an Dr. Flat sold the Clinic and retired it is not the same. Dr.Granada told me I should find a specialist for our Sasha (Brittany dog) as she has cancer. Dr. Flat was still working and I asked him to take a look at my dogs X-ray. He said she did not have cancer and that she has terrible arthritis in her hips. (Which we already knew) Dr. Granada also told me I should euthanize my cat Ernie. I told her that all he needed was a steroid shot and this was what Dr. Hale was doing every 4 to 6 weeks. She got mad at me. Yes my cat will eventually need to be euthanized but he is not at that stage of his lymphoma Yet. The shot does wonders for lymphoma. I told her just give him the shot and if has not improved in a couple days I will bring him back in. That was 3 months ago. We switched to another clinic where one of the vets went through this same treatment with her cat that had lymphoma. She said lymphoma reacts very well to steroid shots. She said we could continue this therapy until it looks like it’s time to euthanize him. There is no reason to euthanize him when he is obviously not in pain, happy, eating well and enjoying his life. We now have had all all our pets records transferred to The Critter Clinic in Gallatin. We used The Animal Clinic for over 30 years. I feel sad it’s not the clinic it used to be. We still love the employees that have been there for years. I hope they will find some really good Vets again.

I’ve read several reviews – both positive and negative about The Animal Clinic. We’ve been using them for about 10 years. They cried with us when we our Nova and Izzy crossed over and made an incredibly hard decision a little easier. The final arrangements were handled in the most caring fashion. We even received hand written sympathy cards with signatures from all of the staff. I’ve seen them crying over other pets as well. They have rejoiced with us when we adopted new dogs and have laughed with us at the crazy antics of our dogs. Izzy loved her Spa day and was always so cute and happy when I picked her up. Izzy recognized their voices and would get so excited when she heard them – she would want to be greeted and loved on by each employee before we could leave – and they would. Sometimes my Vet bill seems high, but so do my Doctor bills. I don’t think I could find a team of employees that love my dogs as much as I do. I hate the parking lot and would love it if the Clinic was on some grassy property but my Dogs love the people and get excellent care and that is more important than anything.

We LOVE the Animal Clinic. Two of our girls have gone there since they were puppies and are now 11 and 12. A third puppy came to us as a foster and is now 13 and since she has been with us she has gone to the Animal Clinic as well. We can't say enough about the entire staff. They have seen us through surgeries and illnesses and all kinds of ups and downs. They have the best staff and the best Doctors anywhere. They even took the time to give an interview to my Grandson for one of his cub scout badges he was working on. Thank you Animal Clinic and all your super staff. Josh has helped us raise all our puppies and we can't ever thank him enough!!!!

We love TAC! They have always taken great care of our dogs and are always very friendly. When one of our dogs, Rose, had to have surgery they recommended a great specialist that came and did the procedure on site at TAC. It was so great having her be somewhere she was familiar with and comfortable.

All of the staff are so incredibly caring, thoughtful, and so involved with the animals. Truly amazing staff and would highly recommend this office and team. Dr. Perkins is who our little loved ones see, but everyone in the office is wonderful.

My family took a short vacation and had 2 of our dogs boarded at the Animal Clinic for few days. On my return to get our dogs, they had gotten sick there and they charged us $200 more than was expected. They didn't call us to let us know about the issues with our 2 dogs. The receptionist had told us, at the time of pickup, that and had an extra charge and when I got upset that they didn't call us, she got upset that I was upset about the issue. Very unprofessional and I WILL NOT be coming back. I WILL TELL everyone I know about this place, trust me. My oldest dog peed on their carpet while we were checking out. Put a smile on my face.
