Our min pin Penny was very sick this summer and we had to keep returning for more care for her. I thought she was dying this past weekend because she had completely stopped eating and her hair was falling out. Diana was so kind on the phone and got us in to be seen by Dr. Smith almost immediately. I was so upset, but Dr. Smith urged me to order more lab work. Penny has Addison's disease, which is treatable. So glad we were able to get her in on Saturday. Thank you, Diana and Dr. Smith! I love the vets and staff at this office. Our first ever visit was for a new exam and dental cleaning and tooth extraction. The vet team from front desk to treatment and DVM were all very nice and explained everything thoroughly. My pup is nervous around new people but they made him feel very comfortable. The cost of the procedure was very fair and they did a fabulous job.

Thankfully I found another veterinarian. I’ve been there twice with problem focused visits and each time they got me right in so as the owner of a senior dog, I felt confident about their service and regarded them as a primary doctor. Recently my dog was in distress. She had a swollen paw and had trouble putting her weight on it. I brought her in early and was told they didn’t know when they could see her. I was offered the option of leaving her there until whenever they could get to her. I explained that she was elderly and I felt that would be too stressful. While trying to decide whether to stay or leave-it was a Friday and I was concerned about alleviating the problem before the weekend in case it was an infection or foreign object- I asked a person in the office if she could help me eyeball the paw. Not for any medical advice or treatment, just as a second set of eyes to hopefully gain more insight so I could weigh the urgency. The employee declined and without any further concern, gave me an appointment for Monday. Fortunately I was able to reach a veterinarian that would see her and we were both treated with care and concern. They even offered to obtain records from her previous vet, something Tazewell Pike Animal Clinic had never offered. I felt like they were happy to have us as clients and had great relationship building skills. We’ve only been in the area a few years, but now I feel confident that we have a source of good, caring veterinary care which is important with a senior puppy. She is family and was treated that way. I’m thankful we did not have to expereince this lack of empathy and concern over a life threatening matter. My dog is well and we now have a primary care vet we have confidence in, but it was a frustrating experience.

I wish I could give this clinic more than 5 stars. This is, hands down, the best vet clinic I've ever used. We have 8 dogs and are currently transitioning them all there. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. They truly care about the animals and treat them like their own. They're very good about working you in if you need your pet to be seen on short notice. Their pricing is incredibly reasonable and the affordable pricing does not take anything away from the superior care they provide. When we recently lost our dog, they handled the cremation and made us a beautiful clay paw print with his name. Those small details make the biggest difference! I definitely recommend Tazewell Pike Animal Clinic to anyone in need of vet care!

We have been taking our animals here for 11 years now. They are the most kindest and loving people ever. We lost our 14 year old cat Daizee to cancer and they tried everything to save her and we appreciate them so much. We lost our 11 year old Basset Hound Chelsea a few months ago and she loved them so much. I have never seen a dog who loved to go to the vet and wanted to stay as much as she did. They loved her so much and took such good care of her. She had dementia and we were so heartbroken when we lost her and I honestly dreaded making the call to tell them we lost her because I know how much they loved her too. They take such amazing care of my 11 year old German Shepherd we have now and our 2 cats we just adopted. We wouldn't choose anyone else. They are family to us. We highly recommend them to everyone!

TPAC has been my veterinarian for over a year. I have boarded my dog twice here and they did great both times. After the first time I boarded him, he got sick the day after I picked him up. I called them in a panic on my way home from work minutes before they closed. The doctor told me to bring him in. We ended up being there an hour after closing. Not one time did I feel they rushing me out of there. Their top priority was making sure my sick dog was well enough to go home. I know when I walk in that I’m gonna be greeted by smiling faces from people that genuinely care about my pet. Thank you Tazewell Pike Animal Clinic for taking care of my precious Oreo.

I was referred to the clinic by my neighbor when I moved to the area several years ago. The staff is amazing! My baby dog spent a month off/on at the clinic prior to having back surgery at UT three years ago. He is a household name to say the least! I always board him and my other dog there when I go out of town because I know they are well cared for not to mention my baby dog has lifetime restrictions now that every staff member and doctor are aware of. Definitely a 5-star place!

Dr. Hibbs has went above and beyond for all my pets, one especially in particular. Denali was born with a neurological problem which causes him to have cluster seizures. Our previous veterinarian told us to euthanize him, and we straight away brought him here. . He is happy and healthy 2 1/2 years later all because of Dr. Hibbs and this incredible team! They are so quick to get him in no matter the circumstances. We couldn’t be more happy and this will forever be our vet! May God bless you all!

They were so gentle with him, he was finally pain free. They gave me all the time I needed to cry and say goodbye to my beautiful boy Wilber. Our cat, Amber, was recently attacked by a stray cat and suffered many cut, bite marks, and a 3-4 inch abdominal laceration that required stitches. It happened near the end of their business day, but they were willing to let me bring her over for examination. Her injuries we're serious enough that Dr. Hibbs felt she should sedate her and stitch up the abdominal laceration and shave/clean the other areas and keep her overnight to monitor her. So, I know that required them to all stay late and I truly appreciate everyone who stayed to take care of her. She is now recuperating nicely at home. I highly recommend this vet!

Tazewell Pike Animal Clinic (T.P.A.C) really helped out our family in a rough situation. Our dog had an issue with her eye (entropion – hair grows on the waterline and inside the eye), one which was going to require me to visit a specialist here in Knoxville, eventually costing us $1,500+ to get fixed. Someone referred us to Dr. Smith at T.P.A.C and I'm so thankful that they did. They did the surgery, included medicine, cone, anesthesia, etc. for under $300. Pixel's eye looks great and is no longer irritated. I can't thank this facility enough; it was definitely worth the hour drive.

highly recommend this vet clinic. I have 5 dogs (all rescues) and they have taken great care of all of them. Recently one of my dogs was attacked on the weekend and I had to rush my mini doxie to the ER vet. He had to have 2 surgeries and stayed 1 week. After bringing him how 2 days later some of his staples started to rip through his skin. Dr. Zeise took excellent care of him and did a better job with repairing his skin than the ER did (in my opinion). If you need laser therapy on your animal, I highly recommend it too. I won't go anywhere else with my fur babies!!!

My first visit here last year left me feeling a bit indifferent to this clinic. I have to say that my mind was completely changed on my second visit this week. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They took time with me and answered all of my questions. I now feel a LOT better about going there in the future with my 2 dogs. I have found the kind of relationship I want with the care providers for my dogs. Dr Caldwell was excellent. I really liked her a lot!

Really great place! First time patient, I called to get an appointment expecting to not get in for at least a few days, instead I got an appointment that very day. They did not charge me for an emergency visit although it kind of was. They took such good care of our big guy. Everything was explained to me in detail. Two days later I got a call from the doctor herself asking how he was doing. I didnt expect that either considering I had a follow up appointment already scheduled. They were even great with my little girl. We had to leave for dance class and they all remembered and asked her how it went when we got back! I am super impressed!
