This is by far the best vet I've used! Dr. Maddux and his staff are so kind and were very gentle with my sweet old friend and with me. She went in for a dental cleaning and had two teeth extracted. He took his time to educate me and he comforted her and kept her calm like no other. I've moved a few times so my fur baby has never had the same doctor (have been blessed that she hasn't needed one often in her 13 years), but she has one now. I won't go anywhere else . I highly recommend Savannah's Crossing. Treat will treat you and your beloved with the utmost compassion!

We had our first visit today as new residents to the area, due to our senior dog with an unexpected injury. They got us in immediately, with Dr. Dupree. Everyone was excellent - very professional and friendly, and treated my girl with kindness. Cost is usually sky high at a vet, but it was very reasonable here. We will definitely be back! Edit: We had to go back later in the day due to the injury bleeding too much, and they were still awesome. My five year old son loves Dr. Dupree so much now, he asked if she could be his new doctor too!

They have the best bedside manner that you would want when taking care of your babies. Dr. Maddux always gives honest advice every time we visit. My dog is comfortable and not scared when she visits and she hates the vet. I cannot possibly thank them enough for taking care of my baby. Definitely the best vet I have ever been to!

I highly recommend Savannah's Crossing! A few months ago, my cat Sophie was throwing up constantly and not eating, so I called their office and spoke with the receptionist about it. I was freaking out because I thought maybe it was an obstruction or something. The receptionist calmed me down, and got me an appointment the next morning. Dr. Maddux gave her fluids, anti-nausea meds, and did an xray to make sure it wasn't a blockage. Thankfully it wasn't. I was super worried, but he stayed very calm and talked me through it. He talked to me like a normal person, and wasn't condescending at all. I'm a bit of a worrywart about my animals, and every time I bring them in, he genuinely cares about my concerns and helps me figure out a solution. He is awesome, and the staff is amazing and they care so much! I will always bring my animals here!

I've had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Maddux for many years. I cannot express my gratitude for Dr. Maddux's time, patience, and expertise in dealing with my late dachshund Pepper. Because of Dr. Maddux, Pepper lived longer, and better, than I could have ever hoped. I wish he and his practice were still in Florida. The folks in Tennessee should consider themselves lucky to have such a great person and professional to assist in the health and wellness of their pets.

Drove to Nashville to my vet for 8 years but felt confident enough with Dr. Maddux and his staff to change and knowing that my furry kids get the best of care.

Wow! Nice small animal hospital nestled within a shopping center. Looks are deceiving from the outside because it’s a nice size office. Dr. Maddux stays very busy so it may be hard to get in on the day you would like but make the appt. Dr. Maddux is a very low key vet who drills down to find the answers to why your pet is sick. Our pet had to be hospitalized for a few days and we believe he got excellent care. Each morning Dr. Maddux would call and give us a report about out pet which we greatly appreciated. We also visited our pet while he was in the hospital. We have been to several vets in the area and found Savannah’s Crossing. We found the bill for hospitalization very fair and all of the staff very professional and nice. We will continue to take our pets to Dr. Maddux.

Dr. Maddux, Jackie, Leslie and Ali are AMAZING! They saved my dogs life today. The amount of time they spend with you to make sure you are comfortable and understand all they are doing was such a comfort to us. All my dogs are patients here and we have always had an amazing experience. Thank you for all you did for our Kookie! He is an excellent surgeon as my almost 14 year old Chihuahua who never had surgery, has an enlarged heart and he pulled her through today with No complications. THANK YOU , THANK YOU , THANK YOU!!

We had to put down our Australian Shepherd of 15yrs. He was a family member - not just a pet. Kristen and Leslie were absolutely amazing and made us and our Rudy feel as comfortable as possible. I found Savannah Crossing online shortly after moving into the area. I myself work in the pet industry, so I have high expectations when receiving care for my German Shepherd and Poodle. Dr Maddux and Kristen(vet tech) were very friendly and thorough. They clearly love helping the animals. I fully trust them to manage the health and well-being of my dogs. Cost was reasonable for a full checkup, bloodwork, and vaccinations. I highly recommend their services.

Incredible! Everyone in this office is so professional, helpful and kind! They are not salesly at all and simply like to make sure your pet is taken care of. They were all very professional and kind to us and our dog. Dr. Maddux explained everything very clearly. He and his staff seemed to really care about our pet and her comfort. We're new to TN and had a bad experience with another area vet when we moved here, so we have only been taking our pets to Beasley for annual vaccinations, but now we feel like we would be comfortable having our other pets treated here for their regular care and vaccinations.

The staff was very friendly and caring. The facility was very nice and clean with fancy equipment. It was easy to find and park. The prices are standard and what I had expected. I will definitely be going back anytime either of my dogs need anything. I highly recommend Savannahs Crossing.

I took our 2 dogs today for a nail trim and one had a check up due to an itchy spot located at the base of his tail. When Dr. Zimmerman came in, he immediately sat down on the floor and let my pups love on him while he checked them out and looked them over. He paid attention to my 3 year old who was “helping” with the pups and also took note of me being 8 1/2 pregnant so he was very willing to work with me on helping get my dog better. 5/5 great visit.

I am pretty perturbed with the miscommunication/lie. I had visited this hospital once, so your experience may not be the same as mine. I had called to make a vaccination appointment, and believed that was going to happen. My dog had received his prior vaccinations and needed a follow up with additional vaccinations. I show up and my dog gets a check up with no vaccinations, when I ask why am I here if they do not wish to do the vaccinations, after I made an appointment to get him vaccinated they stated they believe its been to close/ he is to young since his last round. If that is the case why wouldn't you tell me that on the phone when I tell you how old my dog is? Instead I take off of work ,rearrange my schedule to show up and be charged 60 dollars for a check up and some information on dogs that isn't what I asked for and set my appointment up for. Edit 8/20/19 Me being the owner of this animal, if I call to make an appointment and you worry your clients are ignorant or may be wrong about when to update the vaccinations then why not state that on the phone, or when I enter. Why state at the end of my appointment that you will not be giving him vaccinations, then postpone his check up for when you feel he is old enough for his scheduled vaccinations. Why charge me, the owner multiple times depending upon when you feel like administering vaccinations or doing unasked check ups. Again if I wanted a check up I would have asked. Look at the dog, make you best decision and state what your intentions are before handing me a bill. Also its been brought to light why this place has no bad reviews. I chose this facility because the fact it has great reviews. But the moment I am unhappy with service on my first appointment, and leave how I felt then you wish the business wish to make it right? Why not lead with good intentions, communication, and be up front with me, your customer/ client. Finally, I don't enjoy a voicemail explaining how you wish for me to meet with you again (after charging me for unwanted services) or edit/delete my post. I don't feel as though this has been a miscommunication, but a wrongful business practice to charge for services more so you may make more income. From here forth I will not be visiting this vet anymore.

We are fairly new to the area and my cat got sick so after reading all the positive reviews I decided to take my cat to Dr. Maddux at Savannah's Crossing since it is very close to my house. I was not disappointed. He and his staff are so caring and friendly. The prices are very reasonable and he is very trustworthy. I eventually had to put my cat to sleep due to terminal illness and he and his staff could'nt have been more understanding and caring through the difficult process. They genuinely care about your beloved pets. I will be returning with my other pets for routine and sick care as needed. Highly recommend.

Do not take your dog to this vet! After being a client since they opened the door they turned our dog away after telling us to bring her in if she got worse from a wasp sting to her eye. Barfield worked her in and they have never seen us. Guess who will be getting a 5 star review and my recommendations.
