Wonderful experience on several occasions. Excellent for equine, dog, and cat; plus the caregiver. Makes equine barn-calls for those without horse transportation. The staff is very pleasant and loving; not annoyed with their workload but embracing it. Probably because they are working from their hearts. <3

Even tho my pet had to be put to rest, Dr. Parker was very honest about my pets condition. Lots of places would've tried to just make a bunch of money by attempting to "fix" a problem. She was straight forward about the ability of my pet never being able to walk again. I appreciate the honesty

Horrible worst vet ever !! He never noted how many stitches he gave my girl and then told my husband and I he would remove the stitches we called tried to make an appt was told there were none . So 4 times our girl was taken to a vet to have stitches removed !!! This man slammed a door because of a comment I made everything in that little office shook . If you love your pet as a true family member take your baby to the vet on the other side of town .

If I could give 0 stars I would! I called them because i had an emergency with my dog and they said, "We can see your dog tomorrow". I proceed to tell them again that it is an emergency and we need to be seen right now, they hadn't closed for the day yet and were not busy. So she comes back on the phone and says "you can bring your dog and leave her overnight and the vet will see her tomorrow". So I told her again that it was an emergency and she needed seen right then! So she gives the phone to her manager and she tells us to come on in and if we get there before 5 it will Not be considered an after hour visit. So we get there at 4:40. When the vet comes in he didn't even look at her and told us it was this that was wrong with her. What he said didn't sound right so my husband said how can it be that? And then the vet proceeds to get very snotty with us because my husband questioned him. We go to leave and they charge us an after hours charge after they said they wouldn't and they were all very rude and unprofessional! After leaving we found out he misdiagnosed our dog like we thought. So we got a rude staff, our dog was misdiagnosed and we still had to pay over 100 dollars for nothing! I will NEVER go back to this place!

I have only goood things to say about Dr. Rowland and his staff. They have never failed to provide wonderful and helpful assistance, care and medical expertise for all our pets. From toenail clipping to vaccinations, flea control, infection treatment and affordable services . However, what really sold me on Rowland Veterinary was his sharing of free advice for inexpensive treatments for some of my pet needs that I could provide at home. That let me know that he really cares about our animals not just monetary gain. Very convenient, easy to find and access from Highway 33 near DeRoyal. They are just "doggone" great ! Our cat had a medical emergency. It didn't occur to me to call ahead to check to make sure our cat could be seen. Front desk staff was very efficient, friendly and reassuring. Within a few minutes we were signed in, ushered to a room and told appropriately how many minutes we could expect Dr. Rowland. He entered the room sooner than anticipated, examined his new patient and from that point on he kept me informed step by step. Great communication, very knowledgeable, compassionate and exceeded my expectations in providing quality of care. Charges for services were reasonable. We are very grateful for Dr. Rowland and his staff.

I recommend Doctor Rowland and his associates to anyone. Whether you live around this area or only visiting, he treats you and your pets the same. My small dog was attacked by a big dog. He was hurt bad and needed emergency treatment. I had never been to Rowlands before, but we went with hopes of him saving our boy. After advising us that he had an intestine hanging out and needed surgery and had to stay all night, I was so scared. About an hour he text to let me know Cass had done fine and he was able to repair the herniated intestine. He is a very kind and knowledgeable man.
