I highly recommend this vet to anyone that I know needs one. I have always been greeted and they know my dog the moment she goes in and they know me when they see me. They even ask how Fiesty is doing. They treated her for heartworms a few years ago and didn't charge outrageous fees. They even kept her an extra night with no charge since I had to work. I love this vet and will always be going there.

If I could give 10 stars I would ... We have been taking our dogs to Premier VetCare for about 10 years. In these 10 years my dogs have had many needs that needed a vet visit ... I have always appreciated the care they have given to my pets. Yes I have had to wait a littler longer than usual to be seen ... but I know that there were other pets with emergency situations that needed to be seen too. Has it happened every time? No. We have seen several of the vets there. One of my favorites is Dr. Jones (who is no longer there), she is TOP NOTCH and knows how to care for animals. Our pets have had surgeries done by Dr. Hatcher. He is AWESOME and always addresses any concerns we have and always tells us to call him if we have any concerns after we leave. Is anyone perfect? No. Is Premier VetCare PERFECT? No, but they work hard at making sure our pets are always taken care of!

Coming to Premier was hands down the best choice I ever made when it comes to my cat's care. The team listens to us pet parents and always welcome all the information you can provide to them about your pet, without making you feel like you are rambling or they don't care. They make you feel like family! It always gives me a giggle when the team ooo's and ahhh's over my cat Precious wearing a harness and leash. My cat doesn't mind it and it saves her from being stressed in a pet carrier. It is quite cute!! The team are wonderful, the facility is clean, they do their best to help with the cost and are quite affordable in my opinion, and they deserve a 100 stars for their team!! Thank y'all!!

I took my cat Kirby in yesterday as a walk in for his ears. The desk staff were very kind and affectionate towards my fur baby. I was seen right away. The vet tech was gentle and showed alot of care. I had a minimal wait for the doctor, I expected to wait longer considering I didn't have an appointment. When the doctor came in she listened and was very gentle with him. She communicated well with me and even answered questions I had about Kirby's brother at home which was nice of her. They gave him a shot and were very gentle but firm with him knowing he was scared. I appreciated the care and concern this vet gave to my cat. I highly recommend them for your fur baby needs.

First started going here when it was brand new. It was great. It grew so fast, they cannot keep up with what they are doing. A year or so ago, I went in for an appointment, waited over 45 minutes past my scheduled time, and, let them know this was inappropriate. I received an email back saying it was my fault for showing up early by 1 day for an appointment. I provided them a text they sent me changing they were the ones that changed the appointment, but, never a response back from them. I let it go. I got an email from them recently saying it's time to set appointment for vaccines. I followed the directions to set the appointment via email...following their directions. The requested times passed me by...no response. Today, I get another email saying the same thing.... time t set appointments for vaccines.They have grown to the point the are not keeping up on the important stuff...customer service. They don't seem to understand our time is just as valuable as theirs

Our senior cat was suffering from skin issues and fur loss. Being an indoor cat, I'm embarrassed to say he hadn't been to the vet in years. I wasn't sure how he would handle going to the vet. They were so kind and gentle with him, I was so impressed. They even offered to clip his nails for me, something that usually takes 2 people, a beach towel and Band-Aids when we do it on a monthly basis! It took them all of 5 minutes. The price was very reasonable (under $100) and that included a steroid shot and flea prevention medication (they told me the price up front and applied no pressure to get extra tests). We were able to get an appointment within a day or so and we only waited about 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend this office and continue to use them for all our pets' needs.

It has been awhile since we, (Max & I) have visited the new facility. I have NEVER experienced anything other than prompt, courteous attention each and every time I have been to see them. My son and I have been clients of Dr Hatcher for many years. My son left his dog, "Blaze" with Dr Hatcher several years ago while he and his wife went on vacation out of the country. When they returned they found out Blaze had passed away. They had attempted to contact my son but couldn't get in touch with him. I went with my son to see Blaze. It was on a Saturday and they were closed. But, Dr Hatcher let us in to view and pay our respects to our beloved pet. There have been times even with an appointment that I had to wait past our appointment time. But that doesn't make them "money hungry". It's like everything else we do...most of the time is wait. Grocery stores, doctor's offices, hospitals and so on. I know Dr Hatcher and his crew are genuine, caring, professionals. I have never observed any of the staff mistreating any animals nor being rude to anyone. I am delighted to have them as my Vet's and know Max is in good hands.

I brought my baby Gracie in for her annual check up and shots. Noah was the tech that helped me before the Doctor came in. He was fabulous, very kind, and super polite! He made the visit! They have always taken very good care of my Yorkie and since she is like my child, good care is important to me. I have had 4 legged family members my whole life and been very satisfied here compared to the other vet I used to use. Honestly though, the best part of my visit was Noah All staff was nice but I really felt he went above and beyond. Thank you.

Have taken my border collie here a few times. We always pay the crazy price with the best flea prevention and get his teeth cleaned. Went to three different visits his shots. His teeth cleaning and took him in for a skin infection. Told the vet about a cough he had had for a few months just like a cold that wouldn't completely go away. Not going to mention the other stuff they did but we called after his antiBiotics from the skin infection wore off and the cough came back if we could do anything else. They told us we would have to come in and pay for another visit to address the cough They obviously are not trying to do what's best for the animal anymore. I'm sad that I changed vets to here and I feel so bad for my pup To have to make another trip for something that should have been taken care of in one trip.

I use to work here so I am a little bias but EVERYONE who works here is so amazing and kind. They will truly take care of all your needs for your fur babies. They love all of there patients like they are their own pets. Premier Vetcare will always be dear to my heart and I will always recommend them and Creature comforts (their boarding and grooming business) to anyone I know or just meet. You will not be disappointed going there. Dr. Hatcher and his wife have done amazing things with both businesses and choosing their staff.

If you don't pay $45 annual fee to be a VIP patient don't bother going after hours. Even though they will tell you to come and there will be a $15 after hours charge the extra money will do you no good. Our dog was throwing up small worms so this was not a well visit. My husband was able to bring her when he got off work and arrived about 5:30ish and checked her in with receptionist. There were 1/2 dozen or so "VIPs" already waiting to be seen and all of those were eventually called back. He thought he would soon be called back but as more VIPs kept arriving they were getting called back. Finally it was just he and our dog sitting and waiting and waiting and waiting. Receptionist never spoke or updated on how long before our dog would be seen. He got upset, got a copy of our dog's records (6 yrs worth) and left. Receptionist never said a word and acted as if she could care less. If they did not plan on seeing our dog they should have told us instead of wasting our time. We now go elsewhere.

The staff are very friendly and the Dr. allowed me to ask as many questions as I needed, to ensure my GSD's health was 1st and foremost. Chloe has been going to Premiere since she was a pup and we have had no complaints until recently. It was recommended that Chloe have a tooth pulled as it was showing signs of receding around the gum and the dr advised removing it before the canine tooth is affected. I dropped her off and went over the paperwork with the young man. Specifically initialling for someone to call me if anything other than ONE tooth was to be pulled. I get a call around lunch stating that Chloe is awake and will be ready to pick up at 4pm. Then I was told they pulled THREE teeth. THREE. Not one. I'm sorry. But WHAT? I was in a shock and called my husband. He was told by the office staff that the initial cost of removal covers up to 3 teeth. They didn't seem to understand the issue was pulling Chloe's teeth WITHOUT my permission. I never received an apology. No "Sorry your dog doesn't have front teeth now". Nothing. We will never be returning to this clinic and will continue to spread the word to our friends and family how Premiere Vet is operating.

Premier VetCare was fantastic. They took great care of my dog A.J. He went for his first official pet visit, and they gave him some meds. I brought him home and he ended up eating all of his meds. Called Permier VetCare and they said to bring him back in so they can get the medicine out of him. He threw up in the car and they gave me cleaning supplies to clean it up, which they didn't have to do. I'll definitely recommend Premier VetCare to my friends with pets. Recently brought my two senior dogs to this clinic suspecting heart problems and more intensive, frequent care being needed. I was so impressed with the time Dr Walker took to explain exactly what he saw, all of my options and ways to save money on meds. He was honest about possible outcomes which I very much appreciated. My concerns were heard and I felt prepared for the road ahead. Of course it is also nice to have reasonable fees! Unlike some other vets, there was no unnecessary or over the top testing or treatment. In short, I'm so glad to have a great vet nearby who I can trust completely to treat my pups. That peace of mind is priceless.

I love this place! I have gotten 2 cats spayed here and the staff loved every pet coming through. The price was shockingly reasonable and the doctors were very patient and gentle when handling my cats. My very skittish cat was surprisingly very chill with the staff. It's clean, and they provide snacks for you and your pet and coloring books and such for children. I had a post-op check up today and I was in and out in 20 minutes. 5 stars forever!

Most amazing Vet we have ever worked with. They take great care of all of our animals as well as the strays and rescues that seem to find us. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and Veterinarians as well as fair and reasonable prices. I wouldn't trust my four legged family to anyone else. I do see some complaining about wait times and they can be a little long from time to time, but I think that just shows the level of care they provide to each of their patients. We have never felt rushed and the Veterinarians we meet with have always taken the time to answer every one of our questions to the fullest even when I felt that we had kept them longer than need be due to our questions. As for the complaints about seeing different Vets each time you need to understand that is their business practice. They do have a large staff of Vets, but you can also request to see the same Vet you saw last time if you prefer.

I came in on a busy Friday without an appointment so I was prepared to wait. The staff were all incredibly nice and while we did have to wait a little bit, they kept checking on us and letting us know we weren't forgotten about. My cat is very shy and Dr. Letarte and Brooke were so gentle and comforting to her. This was the best vet visit my kitty has ever had and we won't be going anywhere else from now on.

I would like to thank Premier VetCare and Dr. Hatcher from the bottom of my heart. We lost our sweet Lucy a couple days ago. She had the pleasure of going there her entire life. They have always been respectful and thorough. Lucy had an invasive surgery done at Premier. There were risks, but if we didn't have the surgery, she wouldn't have had a chance. The day after surgery, Lucy was going down fast. We rushed her to the vet ER in Murfreesboro. They were able to get her stable in short amount of time. I was so grateful. We were filled with hope! However, the next day, Lucy could not hold on. We have been grieving tremendously. The day after she passed, Dr. Hatcher called my mother to send his condolences. He spoke life into her. What vet takes the time out of his busy day to help grieving owners? To witness Lucy take her last breath, twice (she died, then was revived, then died 15 minutes later) was horrific. I haven't seen my parents this upset in years. Dr. Hatcher, your call and words of wisdom was everything my family and I needed. We're are completely heartbroken, like you said--Lucy's purpose in life was to love us--and she did it exceptionally well. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

I would tell my friends that the staff at Premier are friendly, professional and well trained. I would say that they are truly animal lovers and the best people to deal with. And I would tell them that I LOVE Dr Jones! She is so wonderful and is always willing to take the time to listen and understand my issues, whether it be with my cats and my dogs both. I have been coming to Premier VetCare since 2005, I have spent thousands of dollars on all of my pets during this period. I needed one of the vets to call me regarding my elderly dog who is having issues right now with her hips which the vet is aware. She can't handle the ride from Murfreesboro to Smyrna and gets very anxious. All I wanted was to talk with Dr. Latart to get suggestions on how to make her comfortable because of stomach issues which she has had before and was given a probiotic. I was put on hold for 10 min. then the vet tech came on and proceeded to tell me I had to bring the dog in... I understand the vets are busy but that does not mean that they could not have called me. I asked if I myself needed to make an appt without the dog to see the vet.. she proceeded to make the appt. After thinking more about this I have decided to take my dog to another vet where she can get the attention she needs and deserves. I understand that Maddie has not been there since Jan 2019... I just had questions but sadly got nowhere.

If I have to be honest I would start by taking this rating to a negative four stars ! This place is Highly,Extremely , over priced for the care they offer.They are all about the money and not about the care of your loved one. There staff is arrogant and under trained.They fail to realize they are dealing with not only the lives of a loved pet but with the lives of a heartbroken human.They do not seem to understand when a persons pet is injured the animal lover could care less about how nice the building is .,As for the vets, I have dealt with farmers who had more knowledge about pet health than any of there vets they have on staff.I doubt this review will ever make it on line ,So I have opted to spend money on an advo pack in the local paper ,This will be a flier sent to every house hold in the area with a questionare ! lets see what the poll of public opinion really is ! It is pretty bad when 8 out of 10 vets at other offices not only agree but as well cant find anything good to say ! I will wait and see if the (administrator ever contacts me )!

I have been going to premier vet for the last 9 years. When I first started going here I was Inlove with them and how personable they were, but ever since they opened that new building the experience is bad. Dont get me wrong it's nice in there and they are nice but no matter if you have a appointment or not you will be there for 2 hours and they don't remember who you are and here's the big kicker for me they used to be open on Saturdays and then they changed it to monday-friday and to be open later to make it convenient but they charge you a fee after like 5. I'm sorry but that is ridiculous. You decide to close on Saturdays, so why am I being charged a fee bc I work normal working hours.

I would have rated this lower, but I did appreciate the fact that they had extended hours and were there when we needed them. That being said, I will say the way my situation was handled was very stressful and heartbreaking for myself and my family, I only wish that my regular vet had been a little closer and had extended hours. This past November, we had to have our 20 year old black lab put to sleep. He had been battling cancer for sometime and his last day, his health rapidly declined and we had no choice but to let him go. The only problem was when we found him in his distressed state, it was already 5 in the evening and our vet was closed. My mother uses this vet office and told us the have extended hours, we called them and let them know we were on our way with Sam. When we got there they took us directly to a room and did a quick exam. Then took him off to get his weight and start an IV. When they brought him back to room he was completely sedated, this really upset us. This was a part of his passing process and we needed to be there with him for this part of his transition. Instead, without telling us, the sedated him and then brought him and the bill for the services back to the room where we all waited. We then had to wait another 15 to 20 minutes for them to come back to finish the process of him being euthanized. I waited for a long time before I really spoke on this because I did not want to many of my emotions to play into my words, but after you have a pet with you for so long, it is hard not to be upset. There is nothing they can do to make this right and nothing they can say to make me feel better about what happened. I think the staff needs some training on how to be a little more understanding an sensitive to the emotions and needs of the pet parents. We have lost 4 pets over the past three years, three of them were all with in a 6 month period. We have always been faithful clients of Murphy Road Animal Hospital, and considered moving to this place because it was a little closer. It will never happen. First of all Murphy Road does not charge their pet parents for this final service, in addition the support and understanding of their staff during these situations have gone over and beyond any I have ever seen at any other vet's office. I am sure that premier is great place to bring you animals, it is just not for me. My animals are more than pets, they are family and in addition to great care, I want some compassion for my family in hard situations.

We moved our older dog here when he got really sick as we were unhappy with another local vet. I could not be happier with our experience. The place is clean and every single staff person was friendly and helpful. They by far have the most reasonable prices. We had to say goodbye to our sweet CJ, but they handled that with care and compassion. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, due to a long battle with kidney failure, we had to make the very hard decision to euthanize our precious furbaby. I was really struggling not only because it was hard but because I wanted to honor him, keep him calm, peaceful and surround him with love in his last moments. We had just moved to Smyrna and had no veterinarian relationship yet. My boyfriend told me about Premier so I made the appointment. They got us in only two hours after calling, welcomed us gently and escorted us to a living room type setup. We laid his bed on the floor and laid beside him. The staff was so loving, sensitive and gentle. As heart-wrenching as it was; it was also a very beautiful experience. My boy was treated with love and was at total peace in his last moments. No stainless steel table, no rushed moments, just genuine compassion, sympathy and empathy. We were allowed to take the time we needed throughout the process to love on him, ask questions and say our goodbyes. It felt much like being in our own home. I can not be more grateful for the EXCEPTIONAL care we were given. It made one of the most difficult decisions and experiences feel as good as it possibly could. If I ever open my heart and home to another dog, Premier will be my vet, no question. About two weeks later, I received this card. I cried at the thought of my baby boy and our family meaning enough for their ENTIRE staff to sign this card and send it to us. I am floored by their service and care. Thank you Premier VetCare!

Terrible. I tried to like this place because it is so convenient. Wait times are always over an hour. You see a different Vet every time and their opions on care, nutrition, and norms vary greatly. I took a 4 month old pup in to get her ears checked. Vet Tech did fine with getting ear temperature. When Vet came in, she let out a growl at the Vet, instead of trying to comfort her or make her at ease, the vet went to get a muzzle. This is a docile 4 month old pup. Not going to let them scar my pup into hating the vet every time. I walked out. Find a better Vet!!

My family has gone here for years... the past two years have been a disappointment. They have no regards for our pets. They don't care... all they care about is money... we've lost too many dogs due to them refusing to give us accurate information... this is the last time... no more.. how ruthless could a vet care place get... I hope you're able to sleep with so much death on your hands.. FYI. If they don't think you could afford it the first route they go is to euthanize... They won't even discuss the procedures to save them. (We didn't care the money, we made it work) They won't even care. They will play as if they didn't see anything. (Proof: got a second opinion from a different vet, they told us "there is NO WAY premier could've missed this if they took x-rays"). They did take x rays but swore up and down nothing was wrong. 2 months of money down the drain with no answers... when we switched it was to late... premier failed to do thier job and the damage is to bad to fix now.. if only they could do thier job... we might be able to save our precious baby... our family has pulled out and so has our friends. Sad to see so much dedication turn into disappointment in the end..

We have had to jump through hoops with this place. Our family has been a long time customer of premier. After being denied twice to get meds for our puppy we decided enough was enough. The staff upfront answering the phones did not help us or suggest buying them online from them which would’ve saved a lot of time. Also get pet insurance if you go here cause they like to throw in some big numbers on your bill. Found another vet.

I brought my dog to Premier for a second opinion after an appointment with a well known specialty clinic. The office was exceptionally busy and while I was waiting for the vet I scheduled my appointment with, another vet stepped into our exam room and asked if he could take a look to prevent a longer wait. He did a very thorough exam, discussed at length the situation at hand and answered the myriad of questions I had for him, and got my dog in very quickly for a much-needed surgery that had not been presented as an option by the specialist. To make a very long story short, I feel they have been honest with me, provided an excellent support system in dealing with my dog's illness and are always friendly and accommodating to boot. I drive a fair distance, passing multiple veterinary clinics on the way because my experience here has been so good.

Premier VetCare is a wonderful vet. They have taken great care of my dog and cat, whether it was just a nail trim or annual shots. The employees always love on my pets every time we come in to make them feel welcomed and less scared. When my fiance's mother had to bring in her Great Pyrenees for hip surgery, the doctors treated her with outstanding care and even took time to visit them out at her farm for a recheck because it was easier on her pet. The front desk workers are always smiling and making conversations with the clients, and the techs are always so caring when dealing with my babies. I am really disgusted. I called up tonight to ask for a quote for the following. 1) Feline annual vaccination cost. 2) Feline dental exam. 3) Feline full blood panel as my cat is 14 and has not had a full blood panel in almost 3 years. 4) 1 major tooth extraction as she has visible swelling and a hole and my previous vet in San Diego told me that tooth would need to come out soon. 5) I.V fluids to acompany extractions. The woman on the phone kept interrupting me, was incredibly INCREDIBLY RUDE, refused to quote me on vaccinations, full blood tests, I.V fluids under anesthesia (she would not tell me if the dental exam itself included this) She was incredibly rude, and just wanted me to PAY FOR A QUOTE IN PERSON... I told her that it was a very standard request to ask for vaccination costs, full blood panel costs, and she kept telling me over and over again that she couldn't give me the cost of anything besides a basic dental exam. I would NEVER use a vet that behaved this way. The woman on the phone was VERY RUDE. and I even gave her another chance and said "Look, do you want my business? And me to give you money? I'm just trying to get my cat seen and her infected tooth taken care of. She is 14 and I am trying to look after her properly. I refuse to waste time getting trapped into seeing a vet who won't give prices on the phone. She was rude and I told her if she continued to be rude I would leave a bad review. I am in tears.. and I am going to call more vets until I find one who has good customer service and good prices.. I just moved here from the West Coast and vets out that way would never have such hideous staff..

I am disappointed in not only the staff that work here, as the front desk staff and the vet tech I was in contact with are lacking customer service skills. When I posted a negative review on social media, the owner lashed out and started posting all of my personal messages to him, and my dog's files, as well as the invoice I paid. After I asked him not to, he did it again. He showed no professionalism in handing my dissatisfaction. Per his response below, I am not bullying, I simply am giving an honest review. I did not need a payment plan, as I paid out of pocket and paid out of pocket at the other vet I chose as a second opinion. I am paying out of pocket for the treatment she is receiving. I deleted my post on social media, not someone else. I decided to not have him trying to pick a fight because someone felt negative towards his practice. This is merely business, nothing personal.

I have been shopping around for a reasonable rate for my litters of puppies. I have never been so out ragged by the prices that most Veterinarian offices where charging to exam a litter of puppies. At Premier VetCare they didn't steal your money.. matter of fact they where hundreds under everyone else's prices.. The care and attention that we got was outstanding... they came out to my car and helped me with all the puppies and made sure there was a room available for us when we got inside. I had several employees working on us at once which made the visit move right along... I am very impressed with their service and love for animals... I will recommend the office in Smyrna Tennessee to all of my clients... not only are the prices reasonable, but the care and attention is awesome... I have used Premier Vet for many many years. I love the Vets.. Dr. Hatcher is the best. I have never had a bad interaction with any of the staff. I have walked in 45 mins before closing and was seen and still there an hour and half later as we took two animals with us.

I would NOT recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone! My husband and I got home today from work and our sweet dog was hunched over in pain. We believe he jumped down from the bed or couch and had injured his back. We have just moved to Smyrna this week and had not found a vet for him yet. We searched online and decided to take him to this veterinary clinic based on the reviews. We walked in at 5 PM (This clinic is open until 8 PM) and explained to the front staff our situation with our dog, Bailey. They immediately told us it would be a long wait and we would be charged an extra $15 per hour after 5 PM. No one mentioned he would even be seen by the vet to make sure he could wait to be seen or were at all helpful. We immediately left and went to Southern Veterinary Clinic off of Mayfield. They were amazing and did not nickel and dime us to see Bailey and care for him. Stay away from this clinic if you would like someone to treat your pet as if it were their own.

Luckily have a friend at Hillsboro animal hospital that got me in same day for half of premiers cost. Not nice to be that way when you already have to say bye to beloved pet

I would like to say, Thank you to Dr. Parks. This past Friday I had to make a hard decision, Tigger out cat was 16 years old, he could no longer walk. (I think he had a stoke because at 6 he was fine and took a turn very quickly). The young lady at the front took us directly to a room. The doctor came in very soon she listen as I explained what was going on. I had made the decision on having him put down because I could not watch him suffer any longer. Dr. Parks explain my options, gave me choices and was very understanding. So, I would like to say Thank You for being understanding and compassionate during this time.

I first started coming to Premier because is was so convenient to my house. However, after several years I will not be going back. My visits always seem to take hours, because I get stuck in a examination waiting for a vet who never seems to appear. Almost always get a vet tech who never seems to remember my animal or the problem. The last time I went I was going in for a follow-up for my dog who has chronic ear infections and rarely will let anyone touch his ears, even when there is no infection. So I'll admit it's a tough issue to deal with. Vet tech had no idea what he was treated for the last time he came in. Spent half my time giving my dog history even though you would think that his records would have shown his issues. The tech kept on leaving the examination room to consult with the vet. After an hour and 1/2 I finally left when my dog and myself just could not handle it anymore. I actually scheduled this appointment when I knew the vet who had last treated my dog would be in and still never saw an actual vet. Going somewhere where I don't feel like a stranger every time I go and where I feel my time and dog matter.

I have two put bulls they have taken very well care of... unfortunately my little one has parvo and I had to leave her today which was the Hardest decision I've made.. but I know she will be in good care.. be expecting lots of phone calls and visits! My baby girl needs ro know her mommy and daddy love her so much and we are doing this to help her.. We took our dog several times to get services. Costed us over $1000 . Last time we took him, they gave him a lethal dose of meds he died the next day. This is very heart breaking and traumatic. Not once did they x Ray his head. He was running into everything and pushing his head on ground. He also went blind in a very short time. When husband called them to let them know he passed, they didn't even send card like most vets. They had us believing that he would be fine. Beware of this Vet!

I have been taking my dog here for almost a year. They are more interested in how many tests they can do, stains, scraping, recheck, to maximize your bill before you get out of there. 3 weeks ago I went and paid 120$ for the visit, ear stain, yantibiotics, fungal meds, ear wash, ear infection. She told me come back for recheck and I'd get the rx for apoquel. Today was supposed to be a recheck and a perscription of apoquel. Not. They immediately want another ear stain, more medication, then theyll give me the apoquel. I walked out. They are about THE MONEY.

When we lived closer to Smyrna we used this clinic all the time. They are fantastic. We specific saw Dr. Knighton and Dr. Letarte. They are fabulous and made our dogs (and us) feel so welcome. The place is always clean and the staff is always friendly. They neutered our male dog and I couldn't have trusted them more. Huge shout-out the tech Lauren Plunkett who always takes care of them when we have to visit. They give treats to the animals too to help calm them down. They are wonderful with nail trims, also. I HIGHLY recommend using Premier Vet for your needs. We still drive the hour when something is needed that we know only they can do right. They are well trained and educated in their careers. The prices are also very reasonable and fair.

I'm thankful it was discovered early so we can carefully monitor the condition. I love my furbaby and I want him around as long as possible. Found a stray that was near death a few days ago. Started to feed it hoping to nurse it back to health and over the past few days figured we should do the right thing and get it checked out. Having told the receptionist I had other obligations regarding time, I made an appointment with this place for 11am, but left at 11:35am when no one got us in to see the Dr... Unless I'm mistaken, this is a service we need to PAY for...so if the appointment is at 11, we should be seen at 11 (or within reason, a few minutes of the scheduled time). Again, we are paying for the services, so please don't overbook clients just to make $$$. While I'm trying to do the right thing I can't get back the time off work just to have a stray cat looked it. I am VERY disappointed with their level of service. Because of this experience I will not be bringing our other family Pets to this place...its just not worth it.

Over the past couple of years I have been loyal to Premier Vet Care, but over the past few months they have not been loyal to me. The wait times are very extensive, even with an appointment I've waited 2+ hours. Also they are out for every penny they can get. If you have a budget they just omit necessary tests. But here's the kicker, my cat was diagnosed with diabetes by Dr Knightson. When talking about treatment plans, her first suggestion was to euthanize him. Absolutely zero compassion. Also, another cat of mine has had multiple respiratory infections. When I call to get antibiotics called in, they say I must come in and pay for another office visit and more tests. No exceptions. I used to value and trust this clinic, but because of the lack of compassion for our little family members, they have lost that trust and my business. This is the LAST place I would want to take a pet.

My husband and I took our 2 dogs to get their shots and back to a healthy state on Wednesday. We had originally went to a vet that was closer to us in Murfreesboro but the prices were just crazy ridiculous. I told my husband that the drive to Smyrna for quality care and a facility that in my opinion is very fair in price is worth it so we left and came to Premier Vet Care. My daughter loved the children's area they have set up which when juggling dogs is such a lifesaver lol. I immediately felt more comfortable and we had made an appointment but was able to be taken back to a room early. The vet assistant I believe named Lou was amazing and treated each dog like her own. She really answered all our questions and was extremely polite. The vet Dr. Morgan Porter was very knowledgeable, polite as can be, professional, etc etc. My husband and I felt like our dogs were in good hands. Both dogs need some work but they are really working with us to get the meds and services they need but inexpensively. I will be bringing all my pets to this vet facility! I highly would recommend this place to all my friends and family.

Amazing service and friendly staff. Recently got my 11yr old cat back (he was taken from me). Unfortunately he had been malnourished and not cared for. His 3rd eye lid ruptured and was now blind in his right eye with a severe infection in the let. The staff immediately saw him (no appointment) and recommended surgery. Surgery was completed that same day. All checkups and post care were included in the surgery cost. It's been about 4wks since surgery and everything has gone splendid. This senior cat is now behaving like a kitten again.

I have nothing good to say about this place!! Took our two cats there, had an appointment but waited over an hour in waiting room then was in a room for two hours with a vet tech trying to sell me procedures and expensive packages saying that's what Dr.Knightson recommended which didn't make sense since she hadn't seen my cats and when she finally did it was a total of 15 minutes for both. She wasn't thorough or compassionate. Not to mention the bill was over $200. Yes they did blood work in that price ($55) but she never gave me a copy of the results and I had to ask if they were normal and she didn't even explain all the results. Makes me wonder if they did what they said, especially since I had already caught her lying to me. Tried to talk to the office manager Dana about it, she told me one thing but when I called back to do what she said they would do she had someone else tell me something different, so she lied as well..if you want a vet that's reasonably priced,that cares about your fur babies, is knowledgeable and won't lie to you then this is not the place for you

Our family owns two very healthy cats. They are only a few years old. We took them there for a simple check up and Leukemia shots. The next thing we realized was how sick both of them got after a week since they where there. Both of them where vomiting, not eating, mooning in pain, and seemed like the couldn't walk so well two weeks after the shots where given to there back hind legs. After the Memorial Day holiday had passed, frustrated now, we took them back and asked what is wrong? After blood work and a exam was done, they said nothing was wrong. Now a day later, and I believe both will die soon. So thanks a lot Premier. $400 later and two almost dead cats. No, concern from them, they keep saying to bring them back, $$$! Im not falling for this old trick again. The cats would have been better off left alone and still healthy as they where. Now my 7 year old son has to learn how to loss his best friends, because his parents made a wrong decision to trust these people. I wish these feelings of lost will not fall upon any more of your clients! Your job is to save there lives not kill them! In Response of what you said: My Name is John Nichols! Yes, Vaccinations can be deadly. Even a week is considered enough time to see a reaction. All I can say is the proof lies before us. So don't say I'm wrong! Don't slander me for telling the truth!!
