Everyone is so friendly. I took my dog here for his neuter about 10 days ago and he has healed well. I paid $150 for the procedure, rabies shot, microchip and that included the medicine he needed which they provided to me there.

Everyone here is super friendly. My baby came home in perfect condition after her spay and her carrier have potty pads in it so theres no pee anywhere in the carrier. So I dunno why someone had that issue but not me. Would definitely come back again!!!!

Such an amazing place my husband too my 7 month old puppy here to be spayed. It cost $61, compared to $350 my vet in brentwood would have charged. They micro chipped her for $10, and cut her nails free of charge. I'm really thankful for how great they treated my pup! (And the informational video my husband watched)

Our experience with the staff at the Nashville office was great. We had adopted a stray cat and had a spay appointment for her. She had weaned her kittens days before and was swollen and red. Jamie came to look at her and assured us they would evaluate her for mastitis before treating her. After the surgery Jamie followed up to cover post-op care and the staff were informative and helpful. Our cat's belly was still swollen with milk and red, so Jamie encouraged us to send her photos and ask questions as she was on call that night. She was very responsive to our concerns and inquired the next day to be sure our girl was recovering well. We want to thank her and the staff at Pet Community Center who stay attentive to pet parents' questions and concerns from arrival to recovery. It helped us so much to see the care and skill of the team. Our cat recovered quickly and is happier and healthier than ever. The low cost sterilization, vaccinations and microchipping has been very helpful for us to give our cat the best future.

There aren't enough superlatives available to adequately describe Pet Community Center and their employees/ volunteers. Thus far we've taken 5 cats, both family members and community cats, for sterilization, rabies shots, deworming, flea / parasite control and microchipping at really reasonable rates. On Friday's they run a walk-in clinic for for the basics. Their devotion and contributions to pet wellness and helping reduce the out of control community cat issues HUMANELY is remarkable. They are both dog and cat friendly. A bonus program is the lending of humane traps to assist in the Trap, Neuter, Release program that is FREE for East Nashville residents.The staff is wonderful with phone help, too. Helpful referrals to excellent Vet services for the ones not covered in their everyday offerings.

If I could give 0 stars, I would!! We took our 9 month old puppy to get neutered here a week ago. We picked him up later in the day and he came home in a crazy amount of pain. We thought something was off considering he was fully aware and constantly trying to lick his wound. He was crying and wouldn’t move out of a sitting position. The next day, we noticed he was in even more pain and his wound was triple in size. It was bleeding everywhere and leaking puddles. We tried calling Pet Community Center FOUR TIMES to ask for advice on what to do. They never responded or returned our call, so we took him to our local vet. They said he had a scrotal hematoma. They said it was most likely a mistake during surgery. They had to put him on 2 medications, but needed to know the name of the pain injection that he was given in order to give our puppy ANY pain medications (which makes sense). The next day, we called Pet Community Center SIX TIMES and left THREE voicemails. They didn’t call us back until 6 hours later and said “the doctor left 2 minutes ago”. How unprofessional to ignore that many phone calls and voicemails when our dog is going through this pain because of them. I asked why they didn’t call us back earlier and they said their phone person didn’t come in. That was a straight lie because we tried calling them multiple times the day before and no one picked up. Also, how does no one answer phone calls for 6 hours??? Well, by that time our vet was closed so we couldn’t get his pain meds. He ended up bleeding and leaking a ton more that day, so we had to take him into an emergency vet. They said on top of the hematoma, he had a horrible infection that could spread through his body. We had to keep him there for several days. He had bleeding, leaking, pain, an open wound, hemotoma, infection all around the area and inside. He is still pretty bad after a week. We have had him in and out of the vet. He has to do Lasertherapy and Hydrotherapy for AT LEAST 10 days. The doctor at the emergency vet said that a blood vessel bursted right after surgery and it is something that they were definitely aware of before sending him home. We have now spent over $700 in post-surgery care and have received no calls from the Pet Community Center. We are in complete shock that this place can advertise their high quality care and high quality doctors, but have completely FAILED at caring for our puppy. They were rude on the phone the ONE time they called us back and showed absolutely no sympathy or care for our puppy’s struggles. We were told he will probably not heal until a month and a half and there’s still a chance he will need another surgery to FIX THE MISTAKE THAT PET COMMUNITY CENTER MADE. Please no one take their animal there.

I picked up my cat after having him neutered and he was soaking wet and shivering from how freezing his carrier was--despite the fact that an animal needs to be kept warm and dry after surgery (as acknowledged by the center). I assumed the reason he was soaking wet (so much so the carrier was dripping from the bottom) was due to needing to be cleaned before surgery and possibly after. I got home and took him out of his carrier and he was SOAKING from, literally, head to toe. We called the emergency line for the center and left a message. We were called back and told they only did a dry shampoo and it may be a "small amount of urine due to the fact they set them in the carriers for about half an hour before pick up." There was no way on God's green earth my cat peed enough that his carrier would be DRIPPING. He had obviously been left in there for the majority of the day with no attention. I am still fuming.

I will never have an animal spayed/neutered anywhere else. This was so easy, inexpensive, and painless for me as well as my precious pup, Gizmo. NOTE: if you cannot follow detailed instructions, do not come here. They send you several emails before your appointment with instructions since this is not a traditional clinic where you walk up stuggling with Fluffy because you never make them mind, chit chat on the phone while trying to check-in, hold their paw through the whole process, and take up all of the doctors time with ridiculous questions. It is a very quick, seamless, group check-in and out process where there isn't much time for fumbling around. Don't get me wrong- the staff is still VERY friendly and willing to answer any/all questions or issues you have. But really, if you read the instructions and watch the video like they tell you to, you should not have many, if any, questions at all. This is the most affordable place in Nashville, I checked them all. No frills, but it gets the job done quickly and efficiently.

I love these guys. I took my sweet pittie, Bibi Beautiful, to get spayed. She is a 7 month old bundle of puppy perfection. I was scared to death. Someone speaks with you and without having to ask them, they give you the j fo to calm your fears. Took 2 kittens who showed up on our porch to be spayed. Turns out they had already been spayed and neutered..one was a boy it turns out...they had also been microchipped. Because the owners had to be contracted we weren't allowed to pick then up. Turns out the owners didn't contact anyone back but I expected that being as they showed up on our porch starving and screaming 2 days apart. My issue with the Pet Community Center was the kittens were left in their carriers from 8 am until 4 pm when they were released back to us. Even tho they were not allowed to have food after midnight they were in their carriers for 8 hours and no one have then food or water they had peed in the carriers for lack of anywhere else to do so. WHEN WE FINALLY GOT THEN HOME TO FEED THEM THEY COULD BARELY STAND UP OR WALK...NOT VERY HUMANE TREATMENT AT ALL

I got a outdoor/indoor sometimes cat chipped for do muh cheaper than my dog 10 yrs ago because they aren't trying to make a hefty profit. Shots looked really cheap too! They're a great addition to the community and stray pet control efforts. They're just before the convenience center so don't be fooled by that sign.
