Phenomenal vet and staff! I live in Indiana and have had some very rough experiences. Fortunately I found PAWS Tennessee and they are certainly worth the drive to ensure that my pets are safe through procedures, happy and healthy. I will never trust another vet to do a procedures on my dogs except for Julia. The staff is amazing, the support they offer is above and beyond. They have extensive knowledge, are extremely professional and reasonably priced. So far they’ve performed 2 surgical AI’s, 3 c-sections, saved my girl’s life (when other vets wouldn’t listen) and saved and entire litter of puppies at birth. I will continue to drive 6 hours for competent care, this place it AMAZING!! I can’t recommend them enough!!

In 2018 I went through the process of having 2 males collected and had their semen frozen for future breeding. These were males who have very unique color gene so not just any stud dogs. I have been working on my breeding program for a couple years now to include this specific color so this was very important to me. I brought 3 of my girls there to be bred by TCI, one was bred to one of the sires and the other 2 to the other sire. All 3 TCI attempts FAILED. I have never used frozen semen but was assured by Kathy Miller, Reproduction Administrator, that Dr. Adams had a 90% success rate. I obviously question that claim at this point due to my results. I would like to also speak of my experiences with Kathy, I found her to be extremely contradictory with information and I was left confused about this whole process. One of my dogs they did TCI once, the others they did 2 times, of the 3 dogs only one had LH testing in addition to the progesterone, I also was told by her that they do the TCI 24 hours after progesterone surge then with the next dog it was 48 hours. I really feel Kathy was just all over the place with information, I am not sure if that actually had anything to do with why all TCI attempts failed but it certainly did not make me feel very confident with this clinic. Kathy also was erratic in keeping me posted on the progesterone testing, I asked her repeatedly to please let me know the results when they tested every other day but only received a few random calls. I even was told one of my girls was done and I could make the 2 hour drive to come get them, when I got there 3 hours later they had not even started the TCI with my girl so I was left to sit and wait. The staff seems extremely disorganized, when they walk your dog the staff smokes on top of them. I know it was outside but still I am a non-smoker and really do not want my dogs near it. Not to mention it is just flat out unprofessional of a Tec to be doing that, in my opinion they should not be smoking when with other people animals. I go to my regular vet dozens of times a year and I have never seen an employee smoking while walking the dogs. This whole process cost me upwards of 4-5k and I have ZERO puppies on the way. I know this is a reality of breeding but find it extremely odd that all 3 dogs did not conceive. I am left wondering if they even tried. Knowing the importance of successful pregnancies to breeder I highly recommend using a different clinic for your breeding programs. 3 attempts and 3 fails just is not good odds when you spend this kind of money for results. One last note, after informing the clinic of the second fail, Dr. Adams reached out to me because Kathy was out sick that week and after my response with how disappointed I was with the clinic as a whole I received zero response after that. I can not express enough how helpful, kind, and professional the staff is! Everyone wishes for all times to go to the vet to be for shots and wellness exams but, when you need someone to care and love for your family member and you are sick because they are you can not ask for a better group. The literally saved my sweet boys life all the while keeping me calm. I also have bred my dogs and they have taught me so much along with going the extra mile to help me when I needed an csection. We have done ofa and collections here and never could ask for anyone to have treated me better, keep me informed, and act in the most professional manner along with keeping me informed as we went. Hats off to this great staff and Veterinarians. I won’t go anywhere else!

I never feel rushed when I'm in their office. My pet is always a priority. We use this clinic for health testing and reproductive needs (such as progesterone testing) and they are always quick and efficient in getting the information I need to me. I highly recommend them to anyone!

Dr. Adams is a wonderful vet, she will spend time explaining everything in an easy to understand manner. Most vets either talk over your head, or assume that you know nothing so does not give any details. The staff is great too.

They are extremely knowledgeable and experienced with all reproductive needs. We also use them as our primary vet. They always take their time explaining to me everything I need to know and answer all of my questions. They are definitely the go to vet! I can not recommend them enough!

I have never used this place personally. I did take possession of a Shorty Bull named Miss Piggy (only the best dog in the world ~ along side if my Toby) from here. Everyone was super friendly and you can tell they love what they do. I do know one of the employees and she is awesome! I have heard great things about their services and if I lived closer would definitely use them!

I have trusted Paws Tennessee for over 9 years now with my champion show dogs. I drive around 13 hours round trip to see them. The staff is always nice and friendly. I just love them all Kathy, Ruth, Diane, etc... Dr Adams is amazing. I have had a wonderful success rate with producing quality litters once I started using their services. Including a single litter of 18 puppies. I currently have a dog with them being bred. I only trust them with my dogs/babies.

Cared about my dog and his insecure temperament and embraced my choice for a vasectomy rather than a neuter. It was a difficult and sad choice for us on several levels and they made it so much easier. Only thing that would have helped would have been someone talking to us about post surgical care or calling later to check in or even providing us with a sheet of instructions, but it was a zoo with what seemed like drop in patients when we came to pick ours up so I can see how that might have gotten overlooked in the circumstances. And, anyway we are smart enough to figure most of it out on our own. We are big time fans now that we have had this introduction to Dr. Adams.

Wonderful place and people. They go above and beyond anywhere else that I have been when it comes to my dogs. Dr Adams will spend time talking with you and helping you. The whole staff is very helpful and friendly. Tracy saved a puppy when any other vet would have counted it a loss and let it go. They work hard to save every life and do things the right way. I won't go anywhere else now, I love this place and everyone here. Kathy is great with repro, everyone just goes out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Dr Jamie even came in on a Sunday to AI one of my girls. I haven't found a better place, and I have been to many searching for a good vet for my furbabies. Thank you Pet-Agrees for caring so much and being there for us.

I have used this clinic for over 12 yrs with great succes. 11 yrs ago, 14 beautiful babies were born from frozen semen and just last years, an other beautiful litter from a imported foundation dog from europe, was created and born at PawsTN .Thank you to Dr Adams for doing all my girls pregnancies confirmation and follow up to make sure the pregnacy does not get aborted.

My animals have attended PAWS for the past year without issue. Friendly/knowledgeable staff. However, after taking in a lost cat I decided to care for, it's gone downhill. When I first got the lost cat, I took her in for a wellness check. I put her in for an early appointment. After dropoff, I didn't hear ANYTHING back until I called the office. I thought it was a one time fluke. A week or so ago I called to price a spay for the same cat. I was told $60. I thought it be best to go there for 60 vs a spay clinic for $50 due to proximity and the fact that my pets have been going there without issue. I scheduled the appointment for today (including shots), dropped her off by 830 this morning. Once again, no call saying she was ready for pickup. I called at 5 knowing they closed an hour later. Good news, cat was okay. Bad news, they hadn't done the shots yet, my bill was significantly higher than quoted and I again had to make the call to pick her up. So very not pleased. Two times in a row? Definitely not a fluke.

I have been using this veterinarian for over 10 years. I have done shots, checkups, progesterone tests, Artifical insemination, OFA and ADRK X-rays for hip and elbow certifications, other OFA certifications, and many more things they offer. Every employee has been helpful beyond belief. All my Rottweilers love them. I had the neuter my cat and he recovered great. Dr Adams and her new veterinarian are both knowledgeable. I love this vet and will drive 2 hours just to have them see my dogs.

I love the care and attention Dr. Adams and the other vets and staff give to the animals. I know my dog will be cared for and loved, and they will try to figure out what ails her when she is sick. I have trusted them for 13 years now! I love the way they can get my thick coated dog groomed and bathed, too. So much easier taking her here than trying to bathe her in my tub! I suggest this veterinary office to everyone in Smith County area.
