We have 4 dogs and have taken them to other Vets before we found Paws of Hope and they did not want to go in. When we take them to Paws of Hope we can believe how excited they get. It is like the staff is part of our pack and the dogs love them. Wouldn’t take them anywhere else.

I walked in to just check the clinic out - turns out it was a surgery day and they weren't open . so I caught them completely unprepared. What I saw told me I had found my vet....forever. The animals were being carried from the OR, wrapped in warm blankets and were being lovingly placed in a post op area that was warm, had cozy lighting - not glaring or overly bright lights & they had soothing music playing for the animals as well. It was so obvious that caring for animals for priority 1. I've been with this clinic for years and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. The level of care & compassion all animals receive is beyond anything you can imagine. I wouldn't dream of taking my little fur babies anywhere else.

they saved my koda. he had a sever gun shot wound and need surgery. not only did they save him but at that time my husband had the only form of payment we had with him at work. they did the surgery waited to the next day for a payment and then on top of that koda came home with a weeks worth of canned dog food and they give him worrmer for free i dont know any other vet or owner who would have done this for me and so thankful they saved him

When our 13 yr old border collie got seriously ill very quickly and eventually had to be put out of her suffering about 7 months ago, the entire staff here couldn't have been more caring and compassionate. We had discovered Paws of Hope a couple of years ago, after our long-time vet retired. Now we have a new BC pup, and he's receiving the same expert care as our last. The doctors and assistants here are top notch, very knowledgeable, and are so kind. They use a lot of common sense, too, as our last vet did, and I recommend them highly. Go see Heather and the gang - your fur baby will thank you.

I got my little schnauzer (Molly) from the shelter in Kingsport 2 years ago. She is afraid of people, rain, loud noises thunder you name it. She shakes uncontrollable. Nothing I do calms her. I've had her to couple different veterinarians. She was scared to the point of shaking uncontrollable till she was back in my arms. The owners, staff, doctors, at Paws of Hope is the only place I've ever taken Molly she is calm no shaking at all. Took her in today for her yearly checkup ect. She did great!!! They may be amazing Vets, but when they want to charge over 100.00 per dog for shots, thats a bit much. I understand that they need to examine the dogs for an office visit, but really that is more expensive than any other vet in the area quoted me. What a shame.

There's no possible way to make my experience better! My two Miniature Schnauzers are my kids, and I don't just trust anyone to take care of them. The whole staff does an amazing job of making sure Nash and Reba are well looked after! I love the fact that while they are there, I get to go with my dogs everywhere. They don't take them out of my sight to perform a test or something which lowers their anxiety and nervousness. I can say "vet" around them and they don't cower or run and hide when I get the travel leashes out. Paws of Hope Animal Wellness Center isn't just the rescue vet your hear about, they welcome and love all types of animals!

Prices have skyrocketed here!! $50 exam visit, Plus every single little thing they can bill you for. They used to be great, and affordable. Not anymore...$90 for less than 5 minutes with a vet and 1 shot! ....Vet Costs are making it extremely hard to afford to adopt any pet, at these kinds of rates. They have always been great to my pets. I wish they had kept their fees resonable like when they were first opened and were trying to get established.

It was wonderful. My sweet puppy dog Nina was injured and I was very worried. They got us in and took care of her and she's already doing much better. So am I. The staff at Paws of Hope were fantastic. I was recently visiting from out of state and found a stray puppy. I called around to other vets in the area who were all booked and did not have time to see her. Case in point: our miniature schnauzer has been literally deathly ill on two different occasions, and doctors Jones and Forrester have brought her back from the brink of death. Our Puppy swallowed a scrunchy. I was extremely worried about him having surgery. Everyone made me feel better by how much they truly care for our pet. They even called me all weekend to check on him and answer all of my questions. It took my fears away knowing someone is just a phone call away if anything was needed. Its been 7 days since.. The employees here are family. I love them all. They are so good to my pup and my sister's pup. They do follow up calls if your dog has been sick, they make themselves available to you when you need them. My dog, Obi, is a dachshund who is overly territorial. He goes in to attack mode with at least 85% of the population. I can pull into the parking lot of Paws and he flips out, cannot wait to get inside. He's putty in Heather's hands! I swear I can tell him we are going to see Aunty Heather and he knows what I'm saying!! As long as they are open, I will NEVER go to another vet.

We highly recommend Paws of Hope! We have 3 dogs that we have been taking there since they were puppies. They take time to love your fur babies like their own & meet each specific need. One of my dogs is terrified of getting her nails trimmed and they sedate her, dim the lights and play relaxing music to keep her calm! My pups even get excited when we turn into parking lot! My animals are my family, and without question I will never trust their care to any other veterinary hospital. My dogs freaked out at other clinics, but our first visit to Paws of Hope could not have gone any smoother. I felt right at home and I saw the same comfort in my animals. It was clean and smelled fresh, not like every other clinic I have been to, and the staff were so kind and you could tell they truly love all animals and their jobs. They loved on my dogs like they had known them since they were puppies, made them very comfortable and at ease. I never expected a vet visit to be something I did not dread due to the previous bad experiences at other clinics. So thankful I've found the best veterinary staff and veterinary care for my family.

When I first started going there it Use to be income based to help those with low income but not anymore. Office visit was 50.00 and all we did was talk and gave a shot which cost 40 bucks! Won't be going back there sense the prices went up. Better to go to a local vet now I think. Just saying truth about it.
