We've been searching for a vet in Nashville and just haven't been happy with the services we've received elsewhere. It seems like most vets are pro-intervention at whatever cost i.e. not considering the stress put on the animal or the stress put on our bank accounts. I was beginning to lose hope until I came across a new clinic, Parker's Paws. We had the best experience! My cat had a few issues that needed resolved, and Dr. Klapheke was wonderful with our cat and me. She thoroughly explained the issues and provided options for his care. She even RECOMMENDED the lower-cost option--a first in our experience in Nashville. Her approach was very practical and I didn't walk out feeling like I was just taken advantage of because the vet assumes we'll do anything for our pets. On top of that, the facility Dr. Klapheke designed is clean, modern (they actually use technology to manage their practice) and incredibly well thought-out--there's even a special cat exam room to reduce the anxiety most cats get from going to a busy vet clinic. In the end, I HIGHLY recommend Parker's Paws and will be telling all my friends!!

My 13 year old cat "Bob" was acting lethargic and was obviously uncomfortable. The staff was extremely professional, quick, and immediately recognized the symptoms as Diabetes and Pancreatitis., They prep'd and stabilized him quickly and efficiently, and got him to the Nashville Animal Hospital right away saving us in valuable time and money. .The clinic was impressively clean and the staff was everything you would expect.

Wonderful staff!!!!! I had to bring a friend's dog here while I was pet sitting who broke 3 teeth. The staff was able to work with me as well as communicate with the dog's owner overseas to discuss procedure and estimates. Seamless process and even called me to check on the dog 24 hours after she had the teeth removed to make sure she was OK. The surgeon was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about what he does!

I wish I could give 10 stars!! I had to bring my sweet Presley in for a visit. She was not feeling well and was 17. Dr. Epstein was AMAZING!! I walked in with Presley and they took us to a private room immediately. I did not have an appointment. He spent time checking Presley out and unfortunately, had to deliver bad news. Although, he had other patients waiting on him, he did not rush and sat down in the floor with us to discuss our options ( I have tears rolling down my face as I am typing this). I know he was trying to buy us some time by sending us home with pain meds for Presley, but they did not last long and I had to take her to an emergency vet that evening. So far, that has been the worst day of my life (it was 13 days ago today). Dr. Epstein and his staff are exceptional. Their kindness was genuine and much appreciated. I have had to put down dogs in the past and have never received such warmth as I did from this place. I got the most touching sympathy card hand written from Dr. Epstein. I will never go any place else.

Dr. Klapheke and her staff are the best! They have always been friendly, accommodating, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely express concern for your pets. I don't ever feel like they're trying to rush me out or are dismissive with any of my concerns. The whole team, including Dr. K, listen attentively and are thorough in their evaluations and analysis. It's worth me driving 30 minutes each way to get there, because I feel 100% confident in them. They're prices are also reasonable. I seldom leave reviews, but because of my love for my dogs and how great I feel about Parker's Paws, I'm gladly taking a few minutes out to show my appreciation and hope to provide helpful advice if you (yes, you) are trying to decide on a vet. Look no further!

I had to go to this facility under horrible circumstances. I bought a puppy the day before, and he didn't make it over night. The staff was very very sweet, and you can not put a price tag on the bit of relief they gave me on what you can imagine was a nightmare situation.

I cannot express how grateful I am to have found Parker's Paws! As a first time dog owner I had a lot of questions on what's normal and how to raise a fluffy little pup in general. The first animal hospital that I visited was...stale. It was very transactional, beyond general courtesy not a lot was offered--especially in the way of answering questions. Parker's Paws was recommended by a trusted friend so I changed over on my next set of vaccinations. Dr. Klapheke was AMAZING. She poured out a wealth of knowledge, not only verbally but included everything pre-written out in my packet. It's clear that she really loves animals and is driven by passion, not just passing along products and information that brand reps provide to the hospital. The pet care is great, and the pricing is very fair. I'll never look elsewhere for my animal needs!

We’ve been in Nashville for a year and a half with a pit mix and a cat. We loved our vet back home and had a negative experience with a vet here in Nashville for about a year. Our pup looked like she was battling an ear infection and after we were unable to get into our previous vet, I began researching for a new place in town. Parker’s Paws had great reviews, so I called them and instantly received kindness over the phone. They were willing to get us in that next morning, and even offered to work us in that day if we felt like it was necessary. I was relieved to have an office diligent about getting our pup to feeling better. We took her in that next morning and everyone was so kind and loving with our sweet girl. The waiting room is bright and colorful. The scale is covered in a non slip cover, so my girl didn’t even realize it was the scale, she hopped right on! (She is usually not a fan of the scale). We stayed in the waiting room several minutes before being brought back to a comfortable exam room. Dr. Epstein and a vet tech came into the room a few minutes later, I was sitting on the floor with my pup as I could tell she wasn’t feeling well. When they entered the room, Dr. Epstein came down to the floor and met my pup on her level, letting her give him kisses and climb all over him - her way of showing affection! I could tell instantly she felt comfortable to be here. I talked them through her symptoms, they gave her a full exam and then began to check her ear. My pup is hesitant to be held tightly or have her ears touched, but they gracefully were able to bring in an extra pair of hands and get a swab to test. Dr. Epstein tested the swab and came back in to tell me his findings, we were going to treat for an ear infection. I also mentioned that she had been battling diarrhea so they were going to prescribe some antibiotics and probiotics and then get a fecal sample to see what’s going on. The vet tech had come back into the room after the doctor left and walked me through everything very thoroughly that we would be administering for the next couple weeks. After the results came back from the fecal examination, she tested positive for Giardia. Dr. Epstein called me himself to tell me the results and to explain in detail what this was and what is to come. The following day, I called and left a message with some questions about her condition. I received an email late that evening from Dr. Epstein answering all my questions and asking how my pup was doing. I responded with more questions, and got an email within 24 hours with a detailed response. It is evident that Dr. Epstein truly cares about the well being of his patients! Dr. Epstein and staff have put my mind at ease moving forward with treatments and what the road ahead will look like for us. I have never been so impressed with the quality of care my pet has received. The prices are so competitive and the treatment and care are fantastic. It was very evident that this office truly cares about its patients and they don’t try to nickel and dime you or try to convince you to do unnecessary testings. We are thankful for the staff at Parker’s Paws!

I absolutely love all 3 of the vets and the entire staff. They are really good with my kitty, take their time, and are thorough in their examinations. They truly care for the animals. Also whenever my kitty has been sick, they follow up with me and it is usually the doctor (which makes it so much more personal). I am very particular about veterinarians and who I take my kitty to. As long as we are in Nashville we will be bringing our kitty to Parker’s Paws! I highly recommend them to anybody who is looking for a vet or not happy with their current vet. We stumbled upon Parker's Paws after moving to Nashville and could not be happier that we found this amazing vet. While all of the staff is great, we have specifically worked with Dr. Garrett, who has been absolutely amazing. Our sweet, old dog has cancer and thus lots of health issues, and Dr. Garrett has given him amazing care. She is of course knowledgable, but in addition she is incredibly personable and takes an extensive amount of time to not only care for our dog, but for us as well. She always spends our visit thoroughly examining our dog, walking us through each and every step of treatment, and answering any question we have patiently and in depth. Furthermore, both she (and the other staff) are amazing at quick communication. This well-run vet office seems to truly be good at what they do, care about animals, and care about pet's owners. I was referred to Dr. K from a long term friend of mine who took his crew of dogs, some who have had health experiences quite similar to what we had with our two Brussels Griffons. Our female Brussels, Annie, passed away suddenly and horrifically in March. To tell you the heartache we felt and still do I'm sure anyone who has lost an animal can relate to that feeling. As we searched for a therapy dog for my granddaughter, we found him, or he found us at Nashville Humane Association...the surprise came that he had a sister, and so of course, she had to come into our pack where they both would know love, care, and safety for the rest of their lives. So I reached out once again to my friend for Dr. K's number. I was scared to try a new vet, mainly because I was still hurting so badly after losing Annie. In walks Dr. K. and I fell in love with her compassion, passion, understanding, and wanting to teach us "what" and "why" of our dogs' ailments and treatments. I understood the "what" and I understood the "why." As a pet parent, we need to have a grasp to these two things because it becomes part of the equation to the "recommendations." Best of all, Dr. K has a Brussels so she understood us a little more too and had empathy for our hurting hearts at that time. So we began our journey and I have to tell you, I completely trust Dr. K and her staff. If you're on the fence of, "I really need to switch vet care," or, "Who should I trust with my animal's special needs," or "Your new puppy," or "Your new rescue," I encourage you to take that first step and make an appointment. I believe you will be so grateful you have found such a caring, compassionate, and medically solid doctor and her staff as we did.
