Mortal Blow

My dog was very sick and they said they had to keep her overnight but noone would be there to monitor her!! This was just crazy. She had just had a litter. My dog Winnie died before night time came.....?? Interesting timing. Keep in mind that my dog died so take my rating with a grain of salt. But I will never take any of my dogs back there.

Called at 4:45 to let them know I was on my way with an emergency for my cat that had been missing for 6 weeks and was found knowing they didn't close until 5:30. They advised me to go elsewhere because they had taken their last patient and wouldn't see anymore patients not even a emergency situation!!!! Not what I call a good caring veterinary!! Doesn't care it was to close to closing and they were leaving, was very shocked to say the least!!

I wouldn’t bring dust bunnies here much less live animals. If you disagree with their treatment plan they call an irresponsible pet owner. Not everyone likes to dump medications into their stressed fur babies when the problem can be remedied with a simple diet change.

First time boarding my service dog, I wasn't sure about the separation from me. When I returned to get him, he was well taken care of. The staff had really enjoyed him. They praised him for his work and good behavior.

I took my dogs up here for the rabbies clinic. They first said I had to call and make an appointment. So, I did. They got my name wrong and all of my dogs names wrong too. I went in for the appointment to a "walk in rabbies clinic" and I had to give my name again and spell it with all my dogs names spelled out. They still got my dogs names wrong on the paper work. Next time I know better. Besides that it was raining outside the ladies that came out to give the shots were trying not to get wet. Next time I just need to go up the street to Robertson county we're they come out to my vehicle and give my dogs there shot and they listen.

Everyone has said friendly and great service... I have called for prices 2 times and OPAH is way more expensive than other places. I drive to Hendersonville to New Shackle Veterinary Clinic where they are super friendly and affordable. The longer drive is worth the great service and reasonable prices.

I am sorry to say that Orchard Park Animal Hospital is not at all about animals. It is ONLY about $$$. I will be going to another animal clinic now. If you can use another clinic, do so. This is only a money hungry clinic. What a SHAME!
