In the 10 years Nashboro has been taking care of my babies, they have become family. They have laughed, worried, comforted and cried with me over my sweet boys. I can't imagine anyone else taking care of us and I'm so thankful to have them in our lives.

I'm sure this place is fine for regular checkups, but my visit was quite different. I had a 10am vet appt for my sick cat and the woman at the front desk was too busy on the phone to even acknowledge I was there. My cat started hyperventilating so the front desk lady finally moved me to a back room. After a few more minutes, without even opening the cat carrier, the vet decided - we can't do anything here. Are you OK with seeing a specialist 15 min away? Unfortunately, my cat didn't make it to that emergency vet and died in the front seat. I will never return to this vet for my other cats, and consider the staff's attitude to be highly unprofessional and uncaring. If you like taking a chance on your pet's life, this is the vet for you. If your pet is in need of more urgent care, the emergency vet on Sidco Dr did an amazing job (based on the circumstances) and I rate them 5/5 stars.

The workers were all great, the doctor was very nice and took great care of my lab, while I was waiting for our apt an older gentleman brought his dog in for daycare, the dog was happy to see the workers there.I would recommend this vet to anyone...

I have seen a number of vets throughout the lives of my pets, and NONE of them even come close to comparing with Dr. Koch and the ladies that run this place! They provide excellent care to your pets as individuals, and are very in you to understand exactly what is going on. They even take the time to make print-offs of more information (from textbooks and the like) for you to take home. They also just go above and beyond to both the people and the animals in making them feel comfortable. The treatments are always logical and they don’t pressure you into anything. Their kindness shines through every aspect of this business, and I will continue to be a customer as long as I am in the area. Thank you, Nashboro Animal Hopsital!

This place was so amazing! They got me right in when I called for my dog, after another vet office told me a time but then changed it to 2 hours later! They were all very helpful and comforting. The vet answered all of my questions and the front desk person and vet tech were so nice and helpful! I will definitely be going back there again if I need a vet again for either one of my pets.

I blame these guys in part for the death of my puppy. I realize my puppy was at deaths door when we arrived, but I felt they did NOTHING to help. They tried warming the puppy up with a hair dryer but the vet was too busy chatting with other workers (about unimportant day to day stuff) to notice that she would stop moving the hair dryer & burn the puppy! They did no testing, no real exams ... they just sold me some over priced formula, charged me for the visit & sent me out the door ... or tried to. I didn't even make it to the door before the puppy started gasping & died. They of course offered to take care of burial (more money for them). I later found out from a different vet that our dogs had been exposed to salmonella poisoning. Maybe they couldn't have saved her, but I really don't feel they tried. Personally I feel they were negligent & either uneducated or lazy. A different vet I used in a similar emergency situation rushed our puppy in, put them on an IV, started testing immediately, & saved a puppy who was in even worse shape (although as I said, different circumstances). Can this vet be trusted? Maybe. All I know is I will never trust them again.

Didn't even make an appointment because the receptionist was so extremely rude! I have never, and should never, been talked down to for simply asking if they had availability to see my pet. They should know the receptionist is the first impression of any business, maybe they do and just don't care.

I am giving three stars because the vet care was good. However the people who work here I was not pleased with. Unless you have a well behaved dog that isn't scared or anxious they seem extremely judgemental and unhelpful. Rough and quick with my anxious dog. Not a terrible vet just not right for me.

The one star I give is for the male veterinarian who is quite nice as far as I have seen. However the other people who work here can be quite awful. We came in for something very simple and will never return after how we and our puppy were treated. Aside from being spoken down to, not having our questions answered and scathing our puppy, they also hurt him. We've been here before and not had a problem with the man who works here. Honestly I would only come here if you absolutely had to and only to see him. The other lady here is rude and rough. We'll never be back here again.

Nice staff and doctor, but overpriced. Also added charges to my receipt that were unnecessary. Edit: I was charged $50 to examine my pet's skin (more than once) after a steroid had been provided two weeks earlier where I was also charged $50 to examine pet's skin. Looking at pet's skin to see that the medication has done its job does not require a second $50 charge. If anything I should be refunded $50 if the medication had not worked only because it's your job to prescribe the correct medication. This is an unnecessary charge and I believe to be outrageous that I'm even having to explain myself. I don't do business with companies such as yours that nickel and dime the customer. You have lost my family's business.

We have a two year old, medium dog who truely is a part of our family. We moved to the area and wanted to find a vet that we felt comfortable with. For us, that meant someone who truely loves animals, who wouldn't suggest treatment plans that were unnecessary to put our baby through. After comparing prices we landed on Nashboro Animal Hospital. When you walk through the doors and Nashboro Animal Hospital you immediately feel as if you are surrounded by people who love your pet as much as you do. Our dog is very shy and easily afraid, Nashboro has a very homey feeling and even has a support kitty (as I call her) named Olive who visibly calms our dog down and sometimes sneaks in the waiting room with us. The staff were patient with her, didn't force her uncomfortable situations and most importantly got her to trust them. They took their time and suggested options that would be affordable for us and least invasive for our little girl. I would highly recommend this clinic. I do not think we would ever go elsewhere!

This was my first visit. Me and my two shy cats were warmly greeted. All of us were treated with gentle respect. I could feel the compassion. Cats can be hard to handle. If they don't like something, they will let you know. My two felines didn't put up a fuss about anything. We will be back.

We adopted a new kitten from Metro Animal, and decided to try this vet. I did read all "these" comments from people, but wanted to judge for myself. The staff and doctor/vet were EXTREMELY kind, polite, friendly, and everything you would expect from a nice vet. The kitten was carefully examined and loved on by everyone, and the staff was great with my 3 yr. old son. They hooked me up with free samples, brochures, friendly advice and so on. I would say the experience was as good as it gets !! FYI however, when searching for their location on Google maps, be sure and search using Murfreesborro "Pike" and not "Road" as their website shows. The "Road" is somewhere in LaVergne, but Murf. Pike is where they are located. -Jim :-)
