We have been using Lewisburg Animal Hospital since it opened, We knew a couple of the vets from other offices. We have them handle all of our vet needs. This includes our beef cows, horses (kindly referred to as "lawn ornaments"), dogs and cats. They have come out in the middle of the night for problems and have always called us back when we have left urgent messages. They love all animals....and we certainly love all of them. I would highly recommend these ladies to anyone looking for animal care.

I am writing this letter in reference to Lewisburg Animal Hospital. I have been a client there since we moved to Petersburg, TN in 2012. Dr. Grissom is my primary doctor there but I also on many occasions use Dr. Hobbs. I will say they both are extraordinary vets. I am a breeder and currently have 12 dogs that are in their constant care. It would be fair to say I am not the average client who uses their services once or twice a year, I am literally in there on a monthly if not weekly basis and I can say both the doctors and the staff exceed any other vets office I have ever been to and safe bet to say I have been to dozens. I personally am very particular about the car of my dogs and have on many occasions walked out of vets offices due to lack of organization when I bring in a litter of puppies. I was in shock and thrilled to see that Dr. Grissom has the best organization skills I have seen at any vets office. It is not an easy task to vet 10 squirmy puppies and remember to give each an exam/shots/weight/fecal etc. etc. but she flies through it like a superstar!! I can still recall the 1st puppy visit, when I entered the room with my crate full of puppies Dr. Grissom and team had the room ready to go with all shots, microchips, all my paperwork including puppy report cards and microchip info for my clients, she proceeded to exam each and every puppy in a consistent routine until all puppies where done. I cannot say how impressed I was with this organization, it really is imperative when you have so many animals to exam at one time. I have never once questioned their commitment to health and utmost concern for all my animals. Whenever I have had any emergency they get me right in without question and they always explain in great detail what they find and how they plan to treat all issues that have ever come up. Many times they will give a couple options on how to treat and ultimately allow me to make the final call as how to proceed. They are quick to answer all questions in great detail and never rush me out the door. As a breeder I also have a little bit more knowledge of medicines and certain procedures then the average pet owner and I can also say that both the doctors always keep my budget in mind also. I know for fact that many times they could have prescribed much more expensive drugs but they always lean to the most practical approach both financially and effectively. I feel both doctors always take the time to make the best possible decisions when it comes to my dogs. They have also taken the time to teach me many basic skills that have helped my kennel in more ways than I have time to mention. I can say without a doubt that the Lewisburg Animal Hospital is hands down the best facility I have ever had the pleasure to bring my animals to. I highly recommend that anyone looking for a vet in this area to consider giving them a shot. You will not be disappointed as the doctors and entire staff are dedicated to providing the best possible outcome for both owners and animals alike. Absolutely amazing. I can't thank them enough. Had an emergency visit and they squeezed us right in even being new clients they have been incredible from the start. Such a nice staff, answered all of our questions and was very open to timing with our busy schedules. My doggy has been so happy since!! :) Also the only vet that is open normal hours on weekends. SO helpful.

Was a bad day for me. My 10 yr old kitty FooFee went into sudden kidney/renal failure. Dr Hobbs and staff were honest with my options. Including cost, changes of treatment working, and my baby's pain level. I made a hard decision to put FooFee to rest due to constant pain. Staff was respectful and patient. Giving me time to say my good bye. A few days later I received a condolence card signed by the whole staff. All I can say is Thank you for helping make a heart breaking situation as comfortable as possible.

The entire staff was very compassionate during the loss of our 2 dogs. We finally adopted another dog and took him in to the vet's office. Dr Grissom and Dr Spidel have got to be the 2 most caring Doctors I have ever met. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else but here. Their prices are very affordable. I would like to thank the entire staff at the Lewisburg Animal Hospital for treating our basset hound Honey like their own pet. She gave us a scare a couple of months ago and they promptly got her in and diagnosed her with diabetes. Dr. Grissom wrote out a plan for us to follow and Im happy to say a couple months later she has lost 12 lbs and seems like her old self again. She still has a long way to go but she will get there. Thanks for all your love and understanding in treating our baby. Honey also stays at Maggie Roo's Pet retreat and grooming and loves her stays there. When they bathe her she looks and smells so good. I highly recommend both business.
