Dr. Craig and the staff take great care of our cats!

Carlton Walker

Over the course of twenty years, Lebanon Animal Hospital has provided veterinary care for my two dogs and one cat. The veterinarians and staff have always been very friendly and very thorough. The care they have provided to my pets has played a significant role in their longevity and quality of life. I highly recommend these folks.

Dr Craig has taken care of my little girls for the past 10 years. I wouldn’t entrust them to anyone else. He and his staff have provided excellent care every visit. No Problems...No Where.

The staff are always very friendly. They always get us in quickly and take extra good care of our “babies”. The doctors explain things to us and always make suggestions or recommendations for us to keep our pets healthy and happy. We have also boarded our pets whenever we go out of town, and they take good care of them in our absence. You will not go wrong taking your “babies” here for their needs.

Love the doctors and staff here at Lebanon Animal Hospital. I can always count on them day or night and weekends also. As a concerned and very hands on pet parent the time and effort displayed by all 3 doctors are top notch. I never feel rushed when visiting with my furry kids. The concern and care shown by all here are A+++++++.

Moved here from OHIO { Wife made me take down and edit most of my earlier complaint } As reviews indicate some are very pleased with service here but as for us ...........worse VET we’ve ever been to in our lives. We’re use to much more one-on-one attention from VETs. OUR Dog has serious breathing problem that shows up only after little exertion but this VET wouldn’t take the time to walk the dog to see breathing problem even though admitted they do have an exercise area just for that. And from my unprofessional opinion is absolutely necessary to see just what is happening and turn light on our dogs’ problem to help find solution. Doctor appears to have not been a VET long enough for any experience to draw on without ordering many expensive tests. Doctor recommends FULL battery of more and more expensive tests and x-rays after x-rays. Openly admitted she didn’t have a clue what’s going on then left us in exam room to go attend the next patient without walking our dog or following through to find out our dogs breathing problem. We were stunned. If I was this doctor, I would have at least consulted my more experienced colleagues. I would have at least taken the dog out to walk/exercise her and see what’s happening. And at least returned call when requested …YOUNG VET ……….has a lot to learn. UPDATE : I've had 6 dogs in my life time and PEPPER was the best little dog of them all. But she died in September 2016. Now last June Pepper had a cough that alarmed me. I took her to this vet ...the vet took some x-rays noticed a white spot where it shouldn't have been ...but ….the vet said…. she didn't know what's the problem. Claiming it could be a number of things maybe a fungal disease , maybe something else. charged us $ 242 and wrote us a $26 prescription for antibiotics. Pepper didn't improve so we came back 18 days later . the vet looked pepper over wanted to take more x-rays but just could figure out what’s wrong . “Again fungal disease was mentioned”. BUT , We were given a list of choices and tests almost $500 for more in tests and another prescription for antibiotics ... then this vet left us alone with our dog to decide for ourselves what to do. Were not VETs ....we haven't a clue what to do…we came to you to tell us what to do… so we left your office paying another $32 and went to another VET. Now 6 weeks have passed and Peppers health is deteriorating fast a test was made for fungal disease and proved Positive for Blastomycosis. Pepper was put through a very strong and aggressive treatment like chemotherapy and intravenously flushed with expensive meds while monitoring her kidneys etc. another $1000 spent but all to no success …because by the time we discovered what the problem was the disease was so advanced if took her eyesight. With tears I put her down in September because her quality of life was gone. With 20/20 hindsight why in the world didn’t the doctor test right away for the most serious life threatening scenario ? Because if we had caught it right away the treatment would not have been so sever and aggressive and pepper would not have lost her eyesight and she would be health and with us today. I post this for the you VET…LISTEN …if there’s a slim chance that someone’s beloved pet has a serious disease that could make it go blind and cripple its bones and eventually kill it left untreated… test for that right away and eliminate that deadly possibility right away … Experience is a better school in this life then book learning… I’m not a college educated VET but this trial with our dog has given me the experience needed to detect it if I should ever come across it again. HAPPY NEW YEAR

Went here first with our cat due to the high reviews after he'd injured his leg. Lady up front seemed more concerned with getting through her day and not helping anyone than seeing to an animals well being...in an animal hospital! Walked in the door and out within 2 minutes due to the rudeness of the woman working the desk in the Cat lobby. After the fact of finding out how much the services would cost and calmly asking if they offered any form of credit she exclaimed "No, we do not." We left on the recommendation to check out the Cumberland Animal Hospital whom informed us on the phone they and MOST animal hospitals accept a service called CARE CREDIT guess who also offers this service Lebanon Animal Hospital as stated on their website. If this is how all of the staff act I'd not take any of my animals to such an environment if they were dying in my arms. I see that the owners have read the reviews posted and to you sir and madam I have a suggestion. If all of your staff aren't into the habit of running off your business I'd have a word with the lady working your cat lobby desk today to remind her of your policies and services offered by your office.

Friendly staff and doctors, they love animals.

Want a Great Dane (and giant breed) savvy vet ... look no further!! Dr Craig was amazing with my giant Great Dane Tuck! Tuck is a BIG goof, and a little exuberant with his affection.. no problem for anyone at Lebanon Animal Hospital. He loved them all. They were also very gentle and gained the trust of Lizzie, newly fostered and abused Mastiff. Dr Wesson was so kind and compassionate when she help my Amos Moses cross the rainbow bridge. Caring, compassionate, calm, knowledgeable and loving are the things you can expect from Lebanon Animal Hospital.

Wendy Reeves

My cat binx got ran over it was after hours. They charged me $393.00 to put him to sleep. They did a minimum physical exam.,,NO ex-rays. They gave him to pain shots and the shot to put him to sleep. I really DIDN'T have the money, but I had NO choice I couldn't let him suffer. That was a ridiculous to charge someone that much

Shelly Hieronimus

The people at Lebanon Animal Hospital are caring animal lovers that do everything that they can for their patients and their human guardians. Our kitten is partially paralyzed and they are excellent in helping us know how to care for her and keeping her healthy. Dr. Craig and Dr. Wesson are the best. As are the relief vets we have seen there on occasion. Your babies will be in good hands here.

Everyone from reception, vet techs, and doctors have been amazing, supportive, and very informative. They answer any and all questions, and explain things in a way that is easy to understand! These people are amazing, I will for sure be taking all 4 dogs and 3 cats to them for everything!

Dr Wesson at this clinic is our veterinarian. I am the owner of a one year old cat named Pumpkin. Pumpkin has been going to Dr Wesson since he was born. She has administered all his shots, done the necessary blood work, performed both his neuter and his declawing. She also takes the time to talk to me at my visits and makes sure I understand what my cat needs as far as food intake and proper care. When Pumpkin was going through training problems and just being a temperamental cat, Dr Wesson brainstormed possible solutions to my problems until she came up with an answer. I value her opinion and her work is impeccable. She truly is a wonderful caring person who loves all animals. If you want a veterinarian who loves your animals like her own, go see Dr Wesson.

As a first time pet owner finding the perfect veterinarian can be difficult. After paying for an "exam" at another office which ended up being $42 for them to give my dog a quick rub down and run zero tests I felt defeated. They literally spent maybe 5 minutes with my dog. I had heard great things about that particular vet office so I was very let down after leaving that day. I've also heard great things about Lebanon Animal Hospital and I was not disappointed! The support staff was so caring and so genuine. My pet felt at ease when he came in and didn't pace around nervously like he did at the other vet. Immediately walking in, the atmosphere was very calm and he didn't seem afraid. Dr. Brown was phenomenal and was very thorough. I could not have asked for better. My Bruno is happy and I am one happy dog Mom tonight. So thankful for them and I HIGHLY recommend them to any pet parent! We have found our vet!

Jill Nabors

I was very spoiled by a small town vet for several years and I was devastated by his passing. I thought I would never find a replacement vet. I have a lot of pets and I spend quite a bit of money for their vet care. Customer service seems to be lost on most vet offices. After 3 years of searching I am sticking with Dr. Craig at the Lebanon Animal Hospital. The staff was amazingly proficient and Dr. Craig definitely cares. He called my cell himself to check up on kitten shots.. Meanwhile Kinslow wouldn't return 3 calls from me over a span of 4 days !

Eddie Rockensock

What a GREAT business and even better people inside. Dr. Craig is one of the most trustworthy and honest person I know. If you take your animal kids anywhere else you would be making a mistake. I can not recommend Dr. Craig and his staff more. You will not be disappointed.

Crystal Prokop

Might be good to animals when it comes to checkups and what not but if you have an emergency and they are booked you're out of luck say goodbye to your family member. Very disappointed in this hospital i took my kitten who had it's eye hanging out of her head to someone who took her in and gave us a fair price so if you need your babies looked at have at it...but if u have an emergency call someone who will say screw the schedule and do anything and everything to save your baby!!!

Victoria Bizzaro

The staff and Vets are professional and friendly. Vets are very compassionate and knowledgeable. I love that we can drop off if animals are sick and pick up after work very accommodating service. Best Vet Hospital I have every dealt with!

Lebanon Animal Hospital has taken care of my cats for 17 years and has done a great job. The doctors and staff are compassionate and knowledgeable. They provide excellent care, and I would recommend them to anyone. Dr. Craig and Dr. Wesson are dedicated and amazing!

I wouldn't even give one star. Angie, one of the front office women... Has ABSOLUTELY no remorse for people and their pets. Told me the price to get my pet examined up front and when I got visibly upset and begged for some sort of payment plan, she shook her head and said no. I continued to panic because my fur baby is HURTING and she just continued to look on. She immediately recommended me to another animal hospital.. losing the vets business.. later to find out they take a form of credit called CARE CREDIT which she NEVER mentioned. I gave her ample opportunity to explain this to me but Cumberland Animal Hospital was kind enough to explain this to me when I called them upon request of Angie from Lebanon Animal Hospital. So.. thanks for recommending the better vet's office and having NO compassion for people and their pets, Angie. Real smooth.

Opie and I had our first visit to Lebanon Animal Hospital today. We met with many of the staff that were all very nice. They take great care figuring out the best way to handle every type of pet personality. Opie's being anxious. By the end of the visit Opie was happy as usually and so was I.

Our dog, Ranger, received excellent care at this clinic. Ranger needed surgery, which Dr. Craig performed with excellent results. He received frequent teeth cleanings through the years, and Dr. Craig helped us with an anxiety problem. As Ranger aged we knew our little dog needed to be eased out of this life. He was suffering. When we were ready, Dr Craig gave us the day to say our goodbyes; and then he came to our house in the evening and very humanely eased Ranger from this life to the next. If you want medical care explained by someone with a kind heart, this is the place to go.

This summer I took my 12 year old Maine Coons siblings to Lebanon Animal Hospital for their routine check ups. Dr. Craig observed my boy Tucker had severe dental issues (how could I have not noticed?!?) and suspected an underlying disorder so he ordered an SDMA test. His instincts about kidney disease were right and after surgery Dr. Craig started Tucker on a renal diet food. Three months later, Tucker's kidney function has normalized because Dr. Craig caught it so early! Now all the siblings eat the renal diet food and I am so extremely grateful for Lebanon Animal Hospital and Dr. Craig! UPDATE: Tucker has had 2 follow up appointments and his kidney disease is stable! Thank you!!!

Customer Service

Wonderful customer service, and great with our animals! I would recommend them to anyone.

Lebanon Animal Hospital is one of the most caring and friendly animal hospitals I have ever found. Anytime I have needed them they have been there 24 7.I especially like and trust Dr. Craig. He was so great during the rare illness my Gizmo developed. He did everything humanly possible to save him. We did lose him but not because Dr. Craig didn't try, not many dogs survived this illness. Couldn't have asked for any one to be any more caring than Lebanon Animal Hospital when we lost him. We will never forget their kindness. Now we have a 6 month old Havanese that we would never take anywhere else. They started all his shots and gave him 100% Great Care. Will never take him anywhere else, Lebanon Animal Hospital I could never ask for any better care of my fur baby. Everyone there treats your baby like he was their own.

The staff at Lebanon Animal Hospital took great care of our Charlie. They love their jobs and it shows! Very compassionate not only for Charlie but also for us. I've had a lot of fur family members in the past and gone to different vets and Lebanon is by far the very best I've been to with any of my babies.

I absolutely love this place. Ever since i moved to lebanon this animal clinic is the only one i will bring my dog, Milo, to. I love the entire team and a few months back my dog was dehydrated and couldnt even make it downstairs. I was in such a panic but as soon as i brought him over I knew he'd be ok. Milo usually get antsy when i take him away from home but here he just sits at the glass door and watches cars go by until they're ready to see him. He is such a good boy here. I wish they would see other animals besides cats and dogs though.

jbashburn

Friendly staff and somewhat professional, however they've been pretty inconsistent on what needs to be done. Also they'll nickel and dime you and justify it by encouraging you to apply for a credit program that they have. I really love my dog, however I'm not interested in going $3,000 in debt with all of the care that they are suggesting that he needs.

I am the Human to many patients of LAH. I have been taking my babies there for over 20 years. Most recently, one of my 6-month-old kittens suddenly feel ill. Angie and the staff quickly got us an appointment and immediately Dr. Craig recognized and diagnosed Ash’s condition. It was serious and life threatening. I am thankful that the Doctors are on top of what is occurring not only locally but nationwide. Their knowledge, education and experience are truly an asset to Lebanon. Ash required intensive in-patient treatment yet I was allowed to visit daily, sometimes twice a day. When he came home, he required oral medications. It was a challenge at first and I sought counsel from Dr. Craig. He was quick to respond and able to advise the best method for giving the life-saving medication. It was a success. Today Ash is doing well. He is thriving and happy-go-lucky. I am so very thankful to the entire team at LAH. <3 Here's a picture of Ash taken during one of my visits when he was an in-patient.

Lebanon Animal Hospital provides the BEST care and service I have ever experienced with a vet. Dr. Wesson who I have gotten to know well over the years I have been going there is absolutely amazing with my pets as well as my husband and I. She truly cares and has a compassion that always puts you at ease when your pets are in her care. We moved to Lebanon, TN five years ago this is the one thing I will miss the most now moving for work to South Carolina. The staff always knows who you are and they treat you like you are a part of there family. They have helped us through the loss of our dog Macy and our cat Marie, they experience the loss as if it were there own. They always call to check on your animal after any procedure or just routine shots. We are so blessed to have had Lebanon Animal Hospital care for our fury friends. Thank you so mush Dr. Wesson you have been my rock with my babies and the staff for always being so welcoming and caring and always so kind. If I am unable to find care I know that you are only 5 hours away and worth the drive to take care of my Molly!!! We will miss you all, Carrie & Jeff McConachie

Amazing staff and hospital. They are caring, professional and well priced. I trust this amazing team to take care of my 4 dogs and 2 cats. Available for emergencies and always accommodating with my crazy work schedule.

The office staff and providers are compassionate and knowledgeable. We called Dr. Craig after office hours about our cat who was injured. He was very patient and kind and answered all of my questions. The cat required surgery and and overnight stay. Dr. Craig and the staff called and kept me updated on our pet throughout the day. After our cat came home, they also called to check in on how he was doing and answered all of my questions I needed to care for him. I have since seen not only Dr. Craig, but also have had follow up appointments with Dr. Brown and Dr. Wesson and have been pleased with the care we have received. The staff at the front desk and the support staff are very professional as well. We have had such a positive experience with this office and will continue to come for all of our pet needs.

Highly recommend! We have been loyal customers since 2001. I had a very sick puppy hospitalized at a Nashville animal hospital on a weekend. I had her transferred to Lebanon Animal Hospital and I'm certain that their above and beyond care is what saved her life. We can't say enough good things about Dr. Craig, Dr. Wesson and the staff at Lebanon Animal Hospital.

Kim Walter

Had an animal emergency early this morning and was turned away by a clinic down the road. I tried Lebanon Animal Hospital and was taken aback by their kindness, compassions and willingness to help. Everyone I encountered from reception to the techs to the doctor were kind, patient and extremely helpful. Seems like the owner there has a great crew.

All-about-the-money, scumbag vet. Office. I got my sick kitty in their office due to her quickly declining health. They, understandly, insisted on the $50 checkup fee to screen the cat. However, they further insisted on thorough blood work and tests a half-day later, which were going to e in excess of $600+, excluding the initial and board fees. Upon retrieving my kitty, they wouldn't express ANY diagnosis or suggestion at all until we paid their ridiculous testing fees., and this was AFTER we had already PAID the visit fee. We also couldn't take the animal home without signing a particularly offensive animal death waiver. My sweet kitty died two days later, which is today. This isn't my first instance of bad play with this particular vet., but watch your step with this office. They're decidedly more interested in the money than the health of the animals they treat. Edit--update response to owner's response: Your office didn't seem very concerned about my pet's or her owner's well being while refusing to disclose any suggestions or findings that might help her out. Also, it's bad manners to call ANIMAL CONTROL on someone who gave you a deserved negative google review just because you didn't like it. (Lol) A word of advice: if your office doesn't want bad marks, try not earning them. Thanks, but unless its something meaningful or useful, I have very little interest in further discussing this matter with you.

Great vet! We have used them for seven years now. Great service. They truly care about your pets. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great vet in the Lebanon TN area.

I called lebanon animal hospital at 4:45pm and told them my dog broke his leg and the lady up front said that they'd see him when it got there at 5:20 pm they had already closed nearly 25 minute before official closing at 6:00 pm knowing I have an injured Dog on the way , that proves to me that they prefer money over the health of pets I will never use their services

Allison Hopper

I've taken my pets to Lebanon Animal Hospital for years and I've never had a bad experience with them. The staff is always caring, kind, and efficient; they always treat my fur babies as if they were their own pets! Dr. Craig and Dr. Weston are amazing! They provide quality care, extremely knowledgeable, and are highly compassionate! I always highly recommend them for all of your pets healthcare needs!!

We have never been to Lebanon Animal Hospital. Last night I called for emergency help for our precious long haired Chihuahua, Cana. Dr Craig asked a lot of questions and offered at-home treatment for what he expected to be wrong with her but urged us to see our vet in the morning. Before we called them, we called our vet for after hours emergency care and was told by recording to call a hospital in Murphreesboro. We called them and they said to bring her there. I am so grateful for Dr Craig's calming advice. Cana is much better this morning and we are on our way to Lebanon Animal Hospital for a personal exam.

My family and i recently relocated to TN. I have experience in the veterinary field which makes very particular about customer service. My mother and i took her new puppy as well as my older dog for their first visits recently. I was very happy with our experience. My mother has not owned a dog in close to twenty years. Both doctors we have seen took their time to educate my mother, as well as make sure her very timid puppy was comfortable. Prices are very reasonable as well. I would recommend this clinic 100%.

I took my Chihuahua Tika to this office today for a broken due claw and her little paw was swollen and she was in ALOT of pain.. no thanks to Kinslow vet here in Lebanon who tortured my baby. I had to leave crying with my pups paw bleeding where they clipped it way back into the quick. without even telling me they were going to do it. and call another vets office. I called Animal Hospital.. Dr. Craig and his very sweet nurse (I didn't catch her name..) were so gentle with my baby and took EXCELLENT care of her.. explained everything to me before they did a single thing. which you don't get at every vets office here in Lebanon even though you should... I am the owner of 2 Pit Bulls a Chihuahua a cat and Gecko.. I will from now on use this office for all of my babies.. It is important first and foremost to feel like my animal babies are being treated with kindness and Dr. Craig and his nurse exceeded my expectations today in that area. they were able to see my baby as soon as I called and they got me right in. And even worked on her through their lunch break... to fix the mess the other vets office caused. they gave her pain medicine, antibiotics, cleaned and bandaged her foot sent me home with instructions for her care at home. and were very gentle with her. and that is EXACTLY why I will be using this office from now on and WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE WHO ASKS!! Thank you Dr. Craig and staff for a GREAT visit today. and taking time out of your lunch to care for my baby. It was and is very much appreciated. Teresa S.
