These people are wonderful. My cat's condition worsened until at 10:30 at night I decided to bring her to this ER. We received fast, friendly, expert service from both the vet tech and the veterinarian, along with some antibiotics for her ailment. We are so glad this clinic was close by and open so late on a Saturday night.

I really wish that I could give 0 stars. I brought my dog in because he had been attacked and had some wounds that were still bleeding 10 hours later. I waited for over an hour, which I wasnt too upset about since it is an emergency clinic. When the nurse took my dog back she was very forceful and just tugged on his leash instead of trying to coerce him to come back. When she brought him back she said he wasnt being very cooperative until she put the muzzle on him and I was very confused by this. When the doctor came back she had ME put a muzzle on my dog who had NEVER been muzzled before that day. I was not comfortable doing this and wasn't pleased because my dog is very sweet and has never harmed anyone; they didnt even give him a chance. After the doc took a look she said she would work up a treatment plan and give me an estimate. When the nurse came back to explain, she gave me an $800 ESTIMATE! For a few puncture wounds that really just needed some antibiotics and a clean up. They wanted to do a blood test, sedate him to shave him, stitches (even though the doc said she wouldnt because she wanted the wounds to be able to drain), pain meds, antibiotics, and an overpriced cone of shame. The cost of the visit alone was already $105, come on, people. Money doesn't grow on trees!! Also, why do you want to invasively put my dog to sleep just to shave him?! It's like they're afraid of larger dogs there. When I told the nurse there was no way I could afford that (that was literally a paycheck worth of work) she asked what i could afford. I told her that the most i could do right now is $150 and she got the nastiest attitude with me saying that the visit alone was $105. She said she couldn't even give me antibiotics to which I had to tell her that a script could be written and i could get it at a pharmacy. (Meds at vets offices are typically fancy chewable kinds for the dogs that are more expensive than pills you can put in cheese to give them). I had this done before at the same office under a different owner, but the doc told me that wouldnt work because the pharmacy wouldnt have the right antibiotics.... Needless to say, VERY overpriced and inconsiderate to the customers and their pets.

If you enjoy a place that leaves you in an observation Room for 3 hours with a dog whose vitals are declining, then this is the place for you! If you enjoy veterinary techs ,(falsely), dignosing your pet before the veterinarian ever sees your pet, and before any test are performed, then you will definitely love this place! And lastly if you love paying double the money because you are double charged for every test that was performed, then you will absolutely love giving your money to this place. I brought my dog in because over the course of 3 days he went from a Energetic happy three-year-old dog, To acting like he was on his deathbed. He had been running a temperature, had labored breathing, had partial paralysis, and was bradycardic. I was placed in an observation Room with my dog, the Tech came in and asked me a few questions, and then proceeded to tell me that the reason my dog had all these problems was because he was too fat. This "techs" diagnosis completely contradicts ny normal veterinarians weight range for my dog. I told the Tech that my veterinarian says my dog is at the normal weight range for his breed, but she proceeded to argue with me. I told her I would wait for the veterinarian on duty to run the test that needed to be run and make a real diagnosis. The Tech did not like this, and kept putting me on the back burner, saying there were more critical cases coming in. They finally ran a heart worm test, which was pointless because my dog had a heart worm test 5 weeks prior, which was negative. And this test that they ran came up negative as well. That was the only test they ran, they did nothing more to help. They told me they did not know what was wrong, and that I would need to see my regular vet. After that test was ran, they ushered me back out into the lobby, and that tried to make me pay for two heart worm test, along with two examination fees. I had to point out to her that he had only been examined once, and that I had only come in with one animal. She then disappeared into the back to confirm this with someone else. They finally fixed the bill properly All in all I spent close to 5 hours, And $200 to get absolutely no results. Fortunately my dog survived, and I was able to get him to his regular vet the following morning, where he was diagnosed with tick paralysis. I will never again in my life take any animal to a Blue Pearl vet hospital And I recommend you don't either.

These folks were amazing this evening. Treated our dog and his family so well. Very caring and gentle attention. Doogie had to be euthanized and it was a gentle kind passing for him. Thanks to all at Blue pearl for being there for us tonight.

My wait time when I brought my cat in on a Sunday was not too bad. They were busy, but took good care of us. They even called to check on my cats condition long after we were home. Thank you for saving her life.

I had to take my beloved dog in for emergency, life-threatening surgery. The staff was AMAZING. I was understandably stressed, and they all did an excellent job to reassure me that my baby was in good hands. Dr. Smith did surgery on Khaleesi in the middle of the night, and I cannot praise Dr. Smith enough. I would very highly recommend to anyone seeking the best care for their pet.

Understand that this is an “emergency” outfit. They charge emergency prices. I thought the staff was welcoming and wonderful. I just don’t understand why it needs to cost so much. I appreciate the work they did but we were forced to pass on an important procedure simply because of pricing. We will seek help during regular business hours at a veterinary office locally. Be ready to wait, I’m not sure if they are short staffed or maybe there’s a lot going on behind the doors keeping them busy but you are going to wait a long time. Again, staff is nice and I thought that part was good. Pricing is abhorrent. I respect the free market but this is unnecessary for pet care. My recommendation is to “try” to wait for business hours at a local veterinary office.

My puppy got a cut, had no options due to it being after hours. Paid $347 for washing a wound and 7 staples. The staples were not properly sealing the top layer of flesh. The staples worked their way out within three days. I would have been fine paying a small fee to redo the staple that came out, but they tried charging me another $347. I love my pet, so I called my regular vet. They offered to check for free and said the price I paid was over the top, and then some.

(Translated by Google) They are only to charge they do not know anything to be of urgency they should know more not to look for the diagnoses by the book of the veterinarian so I can also look for it I was also charged until a consultation that they made to a specialist because they did not know what it could be and even So it was not even the right one I recommend to travel more even if it is closer (Original) Solo estan por cobrar no saben nada para ser de urgencia deberian saber mas no buscar los diagnósticos por el libro del veterinario asi tambien lo puedo buscar yo tambien me cobraron hasta una consulta que le hicieron a un especialista porque ellos no sabían que podia ser y aun asi no era ni la correcta recomiendo viajar mas aunque este quede mas cerca

If you got a couple hundred bucks for minor issues this place is for you!

Don't use Goodlettsville for after hours emergency services! Waited 2 1/2 hours as did the 3 pets/owners in the lobby when I arrived & none were treated. We also did not see anyone leave. We don't know if there was even a Vet in the building. Every time one of us asked we got the run around. I left & went to another emergency clinic - it's worth driving farther for proper care.

“Emergency” vet - tried taking my dog in on a Monday morning at 7:30 - nice lady came to the door and said an actual doctor wouldn’t be in for another 45 minutes?! She referred me to somewhere 45 minutes away, which took way longer in morning traffic. If you have an emergency I don’t recommend this place

My son's dog (yorkie) was attacked by a pit bull on the weekend; this place was the closest animal care open at the time. In a nutshell, we spent several hours on a roller coaster of emotions, starting off with an initial assessment of 4 - 6K for an operation. The other option was to have the dog put to sleep. The clinic told us they would have to transport our dog to Franklin because they did not have the necessary equipment. I made the statement that vets have been patching up animals for years without that level of equipment. It's emergency surgery and you do the best you can. I mentioned we could maybe go $2500 or so but 6K was out of the question. The vet told me she would have a new estimate prepared based on a best-effort basis with the surgery done locally. A little while later, the office person presented us with a new estimate that was exactly the same price. When we questioned it we were told they just enter the protocol into the computer. After multiple discussions about the expected prognosis after the surgery, we were basically told there were no guarantees and the dog would likely die anyway. Much agonizing later, we signed the authorization to have the dog put to sleep so it would not have to endure any further pain. A little while later, the vet came in with an xray and advised us it wasn't as bad as they expected. In fact, the puffiness around the injury was not due to internal organ exposure but simply swelling/blood from the injury. But, the dog would need "exploratory" surgery because that was the only way to determine if there were other unknown internal problems. We were told it would be very risky not to have the exploratory surgery, even though the xray indicated the bowls, etc. looked fine and did not show any internal bleeding. asked for I asked about the risk of the "exploratory" surgery. As expected, it was potentially death from infection, anesthesia problems, etc. We elected NOT to have the surgery. The office person came back in and wanted the $2500 I had mentioned earlier. I asked for a new estimate without the exploratory surgery and it dropped to $1700. The dog was placed on anti-biotics and fluids; we planned to take him to a regular vet first thing Monday morning. On Monday, I called at 6:15am and was told I had to be there in 30 mins because they closed at 7am. No one had bothered to tell us that. After picking up the dog and taking to our vet, we found no surgery was required. Additionally, the vet pointed out he had a cracked rib, which was likely causing most of his pain. Our dog continues to heal and recover. Money talks, compassion walks.

This place is soooo slow. And they are super rude about it. Plan on sitting here for at least 2 hours. The vet techs are incredibly rude. And costly as hell. $105 just to be seen, up from $85 before it was bought out. Plus they won’t listen to you, the owner! I know my pet way the hell better then you. Won’t go here again.

Not even my regular vet as I live in Clarksville. I called in at 11:55 for advice on flea medication for my cats as we are suffering from an outbreak. The vet who answered was very helpful and took 10 minutes talking with me and telling me how to best handle the situation, gave me advice on medicines, etc. I am thoroughly thankful.

Our poor kitty had been yowling off and on for hours about something, and was clearly miserable. We figured out he needed to go to a veterinarian, but we were pretty broke, plus it was a Saturday evening. We figured there wouldn't be anyone available for our little fluffy boy. We found BluePearl on Google and gave them a call. They told us to bring him on in. They examined him and figured he likely had kidney stones with a possible UTI. The treatment was going to cost more than we could handle. However, they worked a deal with us financially that we could afford, without compromising the care our little guy got. These folks are compassionate with both the animals and their fur-less parents. Very very much recommended. Heaven forbid our guy finds himself in this position again, but if he does, we know where to go now.

My dog was attacked by another dog (after normal vet hours) and it was difficult to tell how injured he was, so I immediately drove to BluePearl. When I got there, they were handling an emergency with some kittens who were completely unconscious, so I had to wait which was understandable. My dog was taken back as quickly as possible and assessed quickly. He had to be sedated for some small procedures, but in total we were there for about 2 or 3 hours. They were very gentle and attentive with my dog who had just been through something traumatic and went the extra mile to ensure that he was taken care of. We went home with plenty of meds and instructions that were very clear. Of course it was expensive, as this is nothing close to a regular office visit, but I would pay 10x what I paid to ensure that my dog is safe, happy, and healthy. I hope I never find myself in a situation like this again, but if I do, I will definitely go here first and will recommend this place to all my fellow dog parents.

The staff and doctor were amazing and so kind to us and took amazing care of our baby!
