Today I had to take my Corgi Echo to be put to sleep because of cancer. The staff here stayed with us through the entire process and said that we could have to room as long as we needed to say goodbye when she was gone. They stayed with us as we prayed our Catholic prayers over Echo. My family and myself are very grateful to the staff and will continue to bring our other dogs to their care.

The entire staff is wonderful and caring and I challenge anyone to find a veterinarian who loves animals and is an excellent doctor with the best "bedside manner ". You usually find either a great vet or a personable one but not both. Dr. Wood is that and more! I won't take my fur babies to any other place!

Staff was extremely kind friendly and understanding. They got me and my sick kitty into a room and away from the big looking dog that could have potentially stressed my girl out. Dr. Wohlers was very kind and understanding and simply did her best to help me find answers and solutions for my poor girl. I met several members of the staff who were all very friendly and I couldn't be more thankful for their treatment of both myself and my cat. They even helped me clean up a little accident my girl had in her carrier. They were nothing but helpful and I can't appreciate them more for it.

I have a very loud barker, half Golden Doodle and half Sheltie. They nicknamed him Roudy Boy. Everyone there really cares about animals and their humans. They gave lots of practical advice on how to raise him. Very nice people. Nice facility.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience I had to have my little Coco put to sleep she was in liver failure since she was anemic it really hurts so bad I just thought I was dying inside I still miss her so very much so don't try to make me feel better but when you're losing part of your family there's just nothing nobody can do to make you feel better thank you Ashland Terrace Animal Clinic put a sympathy card I do appreciate it and I do appreciate everything you've done I know what you could have saved my little Coco you would have I miss her so much.

Any time I call for an appointment, they just say "come on in!" I'm glad I chose this vet office when moving to town. Very nice staff and extremely helpful doctors. My dog loves it here (except when he gets shots!)

After years of using them they told me they would not do a house call to euthanize my 14 yr old german shepherd after a tramatic hip injury. I drove there and begged someone to stop by after they closed at noon. I was brushed off and told to call mckamey. They could not have cared less. Not to mention the 1000's of dollars I have spent there in just the last 4 years. FYI.. I did not have mckamey come out and throw my old friend in the back of their truck and take to their facility to euthanize. I found a real Veterinarian that actually cares for animals.

My cat had an emergency at 6:30pm on a Friday night, our usual vet couldn't see us, so they recommended my husband and I take our cat here for the consult to see if he needed a trip to the emergency vet. We did and have now switched vets. We were there for 15 minutes and were told that we needed to go to the 24 hour emergency vet. We spent three hours at the emergency vet getting the cat taken care of and the next morning the vet from Ashland Terrance called to check on the cat and gave me advice on how to manage his condition. This from a vet that I had literally spent maybe 6 minutes with. They care here. Other vets care about your pet, but I have never felt so cared for.

I love Ashland Terrace Animal Hospital! I think the longest I’ve waited to see the vet after I arrive is 10 minutes. The staff is extremely friendly to both me and my dog and I know they have her best interest in mind. My pup, who is pretty skittish around new people, has warmed up quickly to the staff... after lots of treats and peanut butter of course!! Couldn’t recommend this place more.

My precious bird was to be euthanized and my doctor was away. They told me Dr. Hester an avian vet would do it. I arrived a half an hour early, my sister accompanied me. I waited and then the doctor came in. I was told they wanted to take my bird "in the back" to preform the procedure. I said, absolutely not! I have always held my pets to make their last minutes as comfortable and stress-free as possible. I asked him if he was Dr.Hester, he said no. I figured some thing happened. He stated this was "not his forte'" but at the time, I was so distraught I did not realize what he meant. It was not until hours later that I realized his speciality was not birds. When I called to find out why I did not get a avian vet, I was told the office staff asked me if this was ok. That NEVER happened, my sister was with me. I would never had agreed to this. I loved my bird like a child. I never would have agreed to this! I was never told I was supposed to go to Middle Valley, that Dr. Hester was waiting, I was a half an hour early and would have made the short trip! was also told that the doctor told me he was NOT an avian vet. This never happened as well. My sister was with me the whole time! What reason would I have to lie? I write this to protect others. ASK if the person doing the euthanasia is an avian vet. It is a painful procedure and you want a avian vet to preform this!

They go above and beyond to make sure your little loved one receives the best care because their primary concern is the health and comfort of your pet. They are friendly, professional, knowledgeable and attentive. If you are looking for a Vet, you would do well to call upon them.

A kitten showed up at our house. It had a severe wound on its side and extremely skinny. It had an unbelievable spirit, drive, and passion for play considering the condition she was in. We took her in and the good folks at Ashland Terrace made her well. She has a little cow lick tuft of hair where her incision was but other than that you wouldn’t have a clue. Took all three of my cats for a yearly checkup and shots, all three got their nails clipped and our oldest 2 year old domestic short haired sweetest cat on the planet had three nails not touched and one nail cut completely past where it should have been trimmed. She was in so much pain and they man handled her but not the other two. I will NEVER. Take my cats here again. I’m heartbroken and terrified of a infection because of these people I paid over $400 for 3 cats to get checkups and they should have treated my cats with care and love.

We go to their sister vet hospital; however, the doctor we normally see was at Ashland Terrace when we needed a vet. They got us in when we needed and were so compassionate, empathetic, thorough, patient. I can't say enough. It was obviously time to say goodbye to our furbaby and they were great. Please do not take your dog or cat here.Our dog had TPLO surgery 8/17/17. On 9/7/18 they begin treating her for MERSA INFECTION! My dog is not the only one they have had contact MERSA. They have had multiple cases as of lately that they even closed their surgical site to investigate.Our dog is family. And she has been thru hell and so has our family. They suggested the plate would have to come out or the MERSA would never leave, Recent Xray show she still has the gap where the bone was cut to put the plate in. Our dog will never be the same. She will always be on arthritis meds and bone meds. If you love your fur baby ...dont trust them. MERSA IS SERIOUS STUFF!!

Ashland Terrace Animal Hospital saves the day! Even though the office was completely booked on a Saturday, AND we are from out of town on vacation, the staff offered us a walk-in appointment to address a wound on our golden retriever. It was a tricky, deep paw pad laceration. Dr Flynt and staff swooped in to save the day- running blood tests and making a plan to remedy the situation. We came back 90 min later to a happy, healing golden and more face time with the doctor who explained the medications and so on. Thanks so much to this team of hard working professionals who went above and beyond to help our pup. We are so grateful!

Dr. Woods is beyond wonderful. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable about birds but he is willing to spend as much time as needed in the exam room to answer any questions you have. $30 to have my dog's anal glands expressed?? Now don't get me wrong. I realize this procedure is never any fun for the dog, or especially the vet tech, or veterinarian, but the standard rate for this service has always been between $15-20. Maybe $25. Also, my dog's had this done many times before. She's not a difficult patient. In fact the vet tech had her in back a grand total of 3 mins. to do the procedure. $30 for a 3 min anal express. NEVER AGAIN!

ATAH has the most caring and compassionate people working in their office. I just had to have my 18 year old cat, Tigger put to sleep. This was an extremely hard decision but was the best for her. The vet, techs and all the staff were amazing and extremely sympathetic and comforting during this time. A very special thanks to Dr. Killian and Jennifer for the gently care you took with Tigger. My other cat, Midnight is also a patient there and I have to say they are always amazing with my pets and me. Midnight seems very calm with Dr. Thigpin, she is amazing with both animals and people. You truly feel welcome and comfortable from the minute you walk through the door until you leave. Each and everyone there is always friendly, caring and helpful. They’re nice. Only complaint is that I feel like I get nickel and dimed a lot. There is always a reason I go in to get something done, can’t for whatever reason, but they seem to somehow always find a way to charge me $130 each time. Will have to come back in 10-14 days (and another $130). I’ve spent $500 so far on a cat I saved and have owned only for less than two months. To get a cat neutered and declawed it’s $518. $96 is in “healthy cat bloodwork” for which is done every time I go in for some reason. This is an indoor cat also... this is why people don’t care of animals or try to save them more often.
