I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Pope and his entire team! I inherited Dr. Pope when I inherited the class hedgehog and I am so glad I did. Not only did Dr. Pope take my pet home with him to administer treatments overnight, he called my personally that night to give me an update and has called me himself at least 4 times in the last week to discuss my hedgehog's condition. Dr. Pope communicates very clearly and honestly but with lots of empathy and understanding. The office staff all remembered my pet from his previous visits and seemed genuinely glad to see him this time.

Simply outstanding practitioner and his staff are kind and caring. We have therapy chickens at a children's horse barn in Lucy, TN They are chickens of "character" (i.e., old) who work well with handicapped individuals. Pearl is a cranky bird who due to uncontrollable greed, is our best bird and is the "face" of the barn. Dr. Pope has saved her twice. His patience and openness to treating chickens (yes, we've had others there) is wonderful. He was honest and unsparing in his assessment of chicken's chances. I especially appreciated his willingness to call academia for advice in treatment of our flock. He also kept me up to date every day on our bird's condition. Honest, caring, responsive and skillful. He has taken care of all my pets (4 in the past, and 1 now) for all those years with no interruption in that time frame. Pet care is always challenging, especially if you have a few pets as I do. However I would recommend this Pet care facility because of their dedication to truly helping your furry family members with honest care and concern! Dr. Pope even takes pets that are truly needing critical care home with him when needed. My cat Frankie who was so sick was one of those! We have 3 bunnies who visit Dr. Pope. He's one of the rabbit savvy vets in the area and we have been very impressed with him and his staff. He even performed a spay for one of our bunnies and she did wonderful; in the bunny world, it is a big deal to find a doctor who takes seriously making sure the bunny is kept as comfortable as possible during and after such a procedure. I think Dr. Pope is great with most animals. Even though All Creatures Pet Hospital may not be the cheapest in the area, the quality of care is worth it and we feel very comfortable taking our bunnies here!

Dr. Pope and his staff are the best. His care is outstanding. He has taken care of our dogs, cats, and goats. I highly recommend him. We have a 17-year-old border/chow rescue that he sees. We have been to vets that don’t give senior dogs the attention he does. They even do follow up calls. One time my daughters little goat got his leg caught in a feeder and injured it. My husband called and they said bring him in immediately. Dr. Pope gave him a shot for pain and even sent him home with an ice pack. Hey did not do a lot of expensive test or x-rays. He wanted us to watch him overnight and see how things progressed. The next day he was up and walking. Dr. Pope truly seems to care.

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Pope and his staff! Dr. Pope LOVES what he does and you can see it in how he deals with his furry friends. He, himself, will call you back if you need to talk to him. He even met us at his office on a Sunday when our dog ate something she shouldn't have! Cassie, his wonderful right arm, is also amazing and so sweet and helpful! You won't find a more knowledgeable or more caring vet than Dr. Pope and staff!

I was beyond impressed with the amount of knowledge each person examining Thorn had with bearded dragons. It was well worth the 2 hour drive to their clinic! Ms. Deb is the first person you'll meet. She is very welcoming and quickly eases any anxiety you have about how your beloved pet will be treated in their facility. While we waited to be seen, we witnessed her passion for animals as she greeted each person who walked through the door and their pet. You can tell she has a heart of gold. The examinations by Dr. Pope and his vet tech, Kassi, were more thorough than I ever could have expected. I received a diagnosis with very detailed instructions on how to care for Thorn. I'm sure everyone else in their office is just as amazing! I had previously visited a local vet in my area who provided a false diagnosis, and multiple, painful injections of calcium that weren't really needed. I will continue using All Creatures Pet Hospital for all my pets' medical needs even though it is a 2 hour drive from home.

On the advice of my dog’s trainer, having received ambiguous information from her previous vet, I took my dog to All Creatures Pet Hospital. Dr. Pope and his staff provided compassionate and professional care for my three year old Rottweiler who had suffered an injury to her spine. I do believe that the good doctor gave her the most thorough physical exam she has ever had. He clearly explained the diagnosis and treatment plan. My girl is progressing nicely. I trust and recommend them highly and will return for all future veterinary care. The cost was reasonable; the care was excellent!

He told me her prognosis wasn't great but he would "take her HOME and watch her through the night"! What other vet would do that??!! None that I know of! I like this Veterinarian because he handled my rabbit gently and he answered all of my questions concerning my rabbit's health and health care needs. This was a major operation but Dr. Pope removed all the tumor and Dude is recuperating very well. Along this adventure Dr. Pope returned my calls/texts on a holiday and during off hours for this frantic mom. I believe that Dr. Pope really cares for his patients. Dr. Pope has helped care for my now 9 year old sugar glider multiple times over the past 3 years. (My female glider has had issues with an abscess under her eye, an ulcer in her eye from an injury-possibly a cage mate’s long toenail, UTI’s and most recently a broken tooth that needed to be removed. He is a very caring and knowledgeable exotic pet veterinarian. His fees are reasonable but on the higher side. You do get what you pay for, though, with quality care. Hopefully we will not have to return because of more glider health problems (since they do not require any annual vaccinations, this is the only reason why we have had to bring one of our three gliders in,) but if we do, we know where to take them- All Creatures Pet Hospital to see Dr. Pope. His staff is always super sweet and helpful too!

Though no appointments were available, they welcomed us to the clinic and found time for us. When my pet crossed the rainbow bridge, they were compassionate and caring. My pet was gently prepared for me to take her home and bury. I can't say enough about how kind everyone was at ALL CREATURES.

Found this place through referrals from other local chicken owners on Facebook. Brought my pet rooster Bandit in to have his spurs trimmed. Dr. Pope was fantastic! Answered all my questions & complimented my sweet roo's docile behavior several times. Chicken vets are hard to find, especially one you can trust. I felt very at ease with Dr. Pope & his staff & highly recommend their services to anyone else who has chickens or some other "exotic" pet.

I love Dr. Pope and all the staff at All Creatures Pet Hospital! They have taken wonderful care of our dog and two cats over the years. Once, our cat needed emergency surgery when we were out of town over the Thanksgiving holiday. Dr. Pope called us regularly with updates and even took our cat home with him to monitor his recovery until we were back in town. Another time he was quick to follow up on an after hours visit to a pet ER when our cat was attacked and provided excellent follow up care. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Pope is an amazing veterinarian! They truly are professionals here!!!! EXCEPT THE RECEPTIONISTS!!! My cats got vaccinated, but the receptionists let me walk out without having a rabies tag AND rabies number! I come back a couple days later, and they tell me I have to give them more money if I want it! We are about to move so I need it, but I'm not putting another cent into this business since their receptionists can't do their job and tell me that I'm missing crucial information before I leave the first time! I have two cats, but one of my cats is very unpredictable when it comes to new people! Bless their souls! My cats have never received so many compliments in one day! The entire staff, besides the receptionists, here is extremely welcoming (first visit!), friendly, personable, and very informative! I also LOVE the glass doors in the patient rooms! The best part about this vet versus my last vet (Forest Hill Animal Hospital) is that it's a very peaceful business! There aren't lots of animals coming in and out of the waiting room where you and your already petrified pets are; I LOVE that there is only one way in and [a separate] one way out!

We have gone to all creatures for eight years and have had six cats over those years treated by Dr. Pope or should I say cared for by him. He has a passion for his profession and loves every creature he has to help. It sounds strange to say, but he and his staff truly love what they do and it shows most dramatically in how they hold and treat each pet they treat. He shows how much he worries and how concerned he is as he strives to cure each patient. He has cried with us as we had to say goodbye to our “children” and he rejoices when they recovery from whatever ailment he has diagnosed and treated. You could not find a more dedicated and knowledgeable veterinarian to trust with your beloved pet. He even calls to see how your pet is doing after your visit.

Dr. Ralph Pope and all of his staff are amazingly wonderful! Dr. Pope has tended to my ferrets since 2011, always with the best results possible. He and his staff are knowledgeable, very professional and accurate in details. Dr. Pope will work with his customers concerning their pets to provide services that are best for the patient and also what the owner (parent) of the patient wants incorporated into the caring of their pet, so long as it's the right thing to do for the animal. They are always helpful, super friendly and very compassionate. He has, in fact, taken my babies into his home several times for overnight stays if the condition was warranted. I just boarded my 5 ferrets with him for 10 days while on a trip...I would NEVER have left them with anyone else!!! I could never say enough good things about All Creatures Pet Hospital. I am beyond Thankful for Dr. Pope and I love him immensely for taking such wonderful care of my babies!!

Excellent vet. Dr. Pope stays up to date on néw techniques, procedures, and ways to improve the animals health. I Won’t take my babies to anyone else! Dr. Pope even helped me over the phone when I went out of town with Holly ( she has seizures but hadn’t had any for quite some time) she had a bad one in Florida, but I got him on the phone. He calmed me down and I was able to follow his instructions. She is alive and well because of Dr. Pope!

I am writing to ‘review’ All Creatures Pet Hospital. Well, how much time do you have? In my opinion, trust is the critical factor when you require services from any Vet. I trust Dr. Pope, his recommendations and advice. This is the reason I make the long drive to Dr. Pope’s Vet Services. Dr. Pope is very knowledgeable and has conducted a variety of tests, procedures, and surgeries throughout the years. Yet he has occasionally referred me to other Vet’s for assessments and assistance with special care needs, when deemed helpful. He has remained my primary care Vet for many years. Dr. Pope and his Staff are consistently excellent in treating my ‘animal’ friends; as well as meeting my needs as their owner! Dr. Pope has been open and available for consult when I have been out of town. He even made a home visit when I thought my dog was having seizures when his clinic was closed. At one point I had 5 animals. After my ‘MomO’ died, I inherited her dog and cat. While each of my ‘kids’ have been cared for independently, Dr. Pope clearly related how they needed to ‘live’ with each other and gave me assistance with their transition. In the attached Pix of my cat ‘Storm’ he is yelling how much he appreciates the services shown to him and his animal friends from Dr. Pope and his Staff! While providing information and recommendations, Dr. Pope makes you feel he is guiding you to make decisions with any major issue, and does not push special tests/treatments if other options are possible. This is especially true when difficult situations and care needs arise. When I had to face the time my older dog and cat were to leave this world, to write Dr. Pope and his Staff were extremely helpful during the entire process is truly an understatement. I could not thank them enough as they helped me and my remaining animals. Dr. Pope helped when I brought in cats after their owner (my neighbor) had died, and he assisted with their adoption; as well as an adult cat with special needs. He has very loyal clients and many who are willing to help when they are able to adopt. I never know what type of “Creatures” will be in the waiting room/clinic rooms when I arrive. At one visit there was a Pig, Bird, Reptile, Goat, Rabbit, and I had the dog and cat in his office! I have also seen a snake, wild bird, raccoon, and other wild animals which were just left in his care. Delighted. Appreciative. Very Happy. Gratified. Satisfied. Pleased. These are not strong enough adjectives to express my opinion of the overall care shown to my animals, as well as my feelings and needs as their owner, with the services provided by Dr. Pope and his Staff. My Umbrella Cockatoo, Angel, was very sick and we didn't know why. She's only 18 years old, which is young for a parrot. Dr. Pope did all kinds of tests on her to try and find out what was wrong. We found out she has fatty liver, which can be reversed w/diet. I have NEVER known a vet to go to such lengths to help an animal. He even met me on a Sunday when Angel was sick, and she's doing fine now. Dr. Pope is the most compassionate and caring vet I've ever known. As far as I’m concerned, Dr.Pope is a Saint.He helped me so much when my beagles died within a short period of time. He truly cares for the animals. He’s also funny too, he has a gift for putting both the animals and pet owners at ease. I love this man. I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else.
