Dr. Jackson was my cat, Jinks', Veterinarian. Unfortunately at the beginning of May he escaped and got into something, which made him go into liver failure. She was very real with me about how serious it was. While being a blubbering, bawling mess, I made the decision to put him to sleep, rather than prolonging his pain. The clinic as a whole was amazing during that whole ordeal. Dr. Jackson even sat with me and cried for my little furry best friend. I'll forever be grateful for their compassion. They also are extremely good with my anxiety ridden, people hating chihuahua/jack russell terrier! Lol. She loved her trip and all of the attention she got!

Living the Best Life

I love the building it definitely has curb appeal. The front desk staff are very friendly. The vet is very nice. What they quoted me has always been what I actually paid. They are our go to vet for our dog. We also boarded our dog there for a week and had an absolute wonderful experience.

Clean office, some of staff are friendly and the dr. is super nice. I feel like when it comes to what procedure is being done it's not organized or communicated to client and/or the front when you pay and the prices and quotes are extremely inconsistent which to me is a big deal. As for pricing super expensive on some things and not too bad on other things. Also, unless it's surgery or grooming, I prefer my pet stay with me not be carted off to the back for every single thing. Unfortunately after 2 visits we won't be going back, it just didn't feel like right fit for us.

Our dog got injured and we call ed several places trying to get her help but no body would make time for her till I called here and I told them the severity and they said bring her in we will make time. I am very thankful for them taking the time to understand our fur baby needed help.

Great experience all around! Highly recommend! The staff did such an amazing job with my fur baby that is stubborn and has really bad anxiety. They were very friendly and very comforting to my dog. Dr. Byrd and Heather were very informative with finding different solutions to help with my dog's joints and helping her calm down before bringing her back to her next appointment. Reasonably priced and I was told the prices of everything before we went to check out! The medications they prescribed for my dog weren't in stock at the time, but they called me within a couple days which was awesome! Thank you for all that you do!

I'm seeing comments like this vet just opened recently ie few months or a year ago. So not the case. This is just her NEW LOCATION!!! Dr. Byrd had been in business for years. She truly loves animals. This lady use to jump field fences to get to a cow in need...I know alot of "new" people are moving to Chapel Hill and aren't in the know in regards to her experience. She's been our primary vet for well over 10 years and we've never had any issues ever! Also, get estimates in WRITING if you are so concerned about misinformation or pricing.

Visited for the first time with my sweet elderly fur baby that was having some serious issues and with heavy hearts decided to let her go to sleep. Absolutely one of the worse days of our lives. The Dr. and staff were very professional and treated our sweet baby with dignity and respect. And showed sympathy toward us as we said goodbye. And touched base with us afterward with a sympathy card. Will be bringing our other babies in for their routine checkups.

I took my dog Oreo for his first visit to All About Animals Veterinarian Clinic for his shots and grooming and the veterinarian done an excellent job. She was really friendly and she seemed very knowledgeable about my dogs health and also explained everything well. The office was clean and organized. My dog seemed to be at ease and comfortable. They done a great job cutting my dogs toenails. I will be going back for all my dogs health needs and do recommend this vet clinic.

So far I like the staff but, extremely inconsistent with the pricing. I was quoted $150 for a full yearly work up and that was supposed to include everything (even blood work) and rabies if needed. Then I get there and I am told that the $150 only included the check up minus the blood work. The blood work will be $100 more. Then is was told that they were giving me a sample but go to check out and the sample was another $15. Every time I spoke with some one it seems that the price changes. Extremely disappointed after reading all of the great reviews. For my first experience it seamed like they were taking advantage of their customers. No one tried to do anything to compensate me or anything to make me feel better prior to leaving leaving. They just told me that this is the price and I have to decide to pay an extreme difference on the spot for my four legged child's care. You also have to pay for their rewards program on a yearly basis. NO one even called me on a later date to apologize or try and do any sort of service recovery. I am worried to schedule another appointment here because I never know what the cost is going to be even when I check ahead of time.
