Helps animals!
Great experience every time. I've got some very skittish pets and Dr. Zuber is always patient and kind and finds a way to help them trust him. Fantastic staff!
I’ve had the pleasure of knowing each of the amazing veterinarians and staff members at 5 Points Animal Hospital; they’re all amazing people who care deeply about the health and well being of their fluffy patients! Dr. Zuber is my dog’s go-to vet and he will be for the foreseeable future! He’s helped take amazing care of my crazy girl, Snitch. Through a broken leg and bandages changes all the way to a blood clot that almost took her away. Because of his incredible diligence alongside Dr. Roth and the ever skilled technicians such as Daniel, I still have my crazy girl with me, wagging her tail and barking more each day. Dr. Zuber has always been patient and kind, taking time to help figure out what dosages of which medications would work best and talking through the best care plans for her recovery, as well as checking up on her after something as simple as her spay. He’s one of the very best veterinarians I’ve ever brought any of my pets to! Dr Roth helped take care of Snitch (as well as put up with my uncomfortable sobbing) with compassion and professionalism. She even called two different specialists to discuss the symptoms and which medication they thought would be the most effective with her case. She was very sweet and didn’t leave Snitch’s side until Dr. Zuber was able to take over, the two of them rearranging their busy schedules to be able handle our emergency until I would be able to bring Snitch to a specialist at Blue Pearl for further neurological monitoring. Dr. Regan also takes incredible care of our puggle Lilly Mo, who has substantial anxiety. I highly recommend Dr. Regan to anyone whose pet (or themselves) may need someone whose more laid back, but still serious and dedicated. His demeanor is relaxed and that really helped Lilly Mo stay calm during her visit. Dr. Regan will always tell you how it is, he doesn’t beat around the bush but he’s still really considerate and pleasant! Dr. Bakker has also seen both of my girls and has been incredibly kind and attentive to them both, taking some extra time with Lilly Mo to help ease her anxiety. She’s an amazing doctor as well as a truly lovely person and I would highly recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. She also sees exotics! Dr. Grace is always willing to take extra time with her patients to make sure that they’re given the best care possible. She’s taken extra time when she wasn’t in the office to answer a few questions of mine and she personally called NVS regarding an unpleasant experience we had there and recommended that the refund our visit as her review of Snitch’s treatment at their facility was appalling to her. She always goes above and beyond for her patients.
I took my new kitten to see Dr. Regan last week and everyone we saw at 5 Points was friendly and helpful. Dr. Regan and Kelsey helped me understand, as a first time kitten owner, all about the vaccines and tests being run without overwhelming me. I will absolutely be bringing my kitten back to 5 Points for any other visits he may need, and I highly recommend them to other pet owners.
Have worked with every Dr and they are all fabulous. Great support and a personal focus that is appreciated, especially when asking/answering questions about complex medical situations. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
Dr. Grace goes above and beyond - she's taken calls/texts after hours, she walks me through pricing and is very mindful of my budget, and always gives my dogs very thorough and thoughtful wellness exams. She even came in on an off day just because she knew my pup was having dental surgery. She truly cares - I trust her with my pups more than anyone else.
Great staff and friendly care for your pet!
Visiting for a couple of months, made appt & took my Great Dane there for 6-wk nail trim; it was close by & reviews were OK. However, they quicked 4 of his nails badly, so badly that 8 wks later, he is still having major issues. Do NOT use these people. They don't know what they're doing. / Update / Owner called after review was posted to express regret & assure me that technician who did the work would be mentored so this doesn't happen again. He seemed sincere & hopefully this will be the case. Review altered from 1 star to 3 accordingly. I have not personally used them since, but apparently others have had better experiences.
Nice Setting but they Upsell like a used car dealership. I took my 2 small dogs in to get spayed and nuetered. The female had some irregular heart beat so I paid for a more extensive EKG and 15 days later still have not gotten the results back. Well to make it short with the initial consultation, I paid $750 and only got one dog fixed. The male.
I took my puppy here for the puppy exam to have him looked at to make sure he was healthy. They told us he looked good and said he needed some shots, I asked about the price and it didn't sound too bad. Too bad that was the price for one shot. Four shots later, a fecal exam I didn't ask for and some other charges I was out more than I expected. They told me if the dog had any reaction "swelling" to take him to the animal hospital immediately. My dog did have swelling, but I called another animal hospital after calling Five Points, they said give him some children's Benadryl, monitor him, if it gets worse call back. Boy am I glad I called another professional. My dog was fine and playing within 20 minutes of the Benadryl. I went to the Pet Community Center and got the same amount of shots, micro chipped, and some other stuff for around $50.00. Quick Edit: This was around 6 months ago, only writing the review because I keep receiving phone calls from them. Also, I don't see Five Points ranting/bashing on any other reviews left. I was simply dissatisfied with the price, constant communication after I told them I wouldn't come back in, and the advice (after talking to other professionals)! Look I'll even change my review to 3 stars because you guys seem a little worked up..
Everyone was so kind and helpful. They took very good care of my dog. Thanks to Five Points!
I took my dog here since I recently moved to Nashville- the staff was quiet and not very friendly- then I agreed to get his blood work done- they took him to the back where he was scared and I couldn't comfort him during a pretty scary experience for a scared rescue dog in a new place with strangers holding him down. So I had to wait in the exam room and listen to him cry (dog mom's worst fear) and then have him come back limping with a bandage because he was bleeding. They did the rest of the exam in the room with me but the vet technician was holding his nose tight shut which is very offensive to dogs. They weren't allowing me to hold him and comfort him during the rest of the wellness exam which only stress my dog out even more. I could tell he was scared and immediately went into the corner when they were done. It was a very traumatizing experience for both me and my dog and then I paid $192 for a wellness exam and a traumatized dog. I will not be back..
Best vet experience we have had. Super knowledgeable & gentle approach by the vet & all staff @ 5 Points We feel super happy to have found great care for our fur baby !
Great staff!
I brought my cat to 5 points animal hospital first thing this morning since he is extremely sick and not eating or drinking. They refused to even look at him without an appointment even though their website advertises walk-ins. Why bother becoming a vet if you don't care about the well-being of animals. Seems heartless to me.
The staff is always friendly and they've worked very hard to fit us into their schedules. Our two dogs both have loved everyone they've met.
Truly Nashville's best Vet. Dr. Smith, Julia and the entire team at 5 Points made my puppy and I feel right at home. As a new pet owner, I was presently surprised with their affordable costs, exceptional service and genuine passion for helping address all our concerns. I highly recommend 5 Points for any new pet owner or anyone looking for a vet to call home! Bailey and I sure have!
Horrible communication skills. Our dog was taken to be spayed and she didn’t come back out. The owners of the company have truly been avoiding the situation and basically “don’t know” how the dog died even after completing the autopsy. The owners basically said it wasn’t their fault and told us we need to move on. If you want your pet to come back out alive don’t take your pet here.
Wonderful employees and Vets! Take great care of pets and their families!
Best vet in Nashville. They took great care of my dog Marshall and were always accommodating in urgent situations. I can't say enough wonderful things about the doctors and staff here. Thank you!
I've previously had two great vets to care for my dog (who is now 12 yo). Now, Dr. Grace and the staff at 5 Points are super. They care about my dog (and me) very much and have been extremely helpful and kind especially since he had some health issues that really became prominent earlier this week. She has called us every night and some mornings as well. She's run only the most needed tests, so we can step by step rule out various possibilities. So far we've been able not to need see a specialist vet (neurologist or internist), but she has consulted with them on our behalf. My dog is now feeling better and we feel we are making progess in the right direction. I'll always be greatful to Dr. Grace and the staff at 5 Points. Phyllis Jones
Wonderful service and great prices. Found out my fur baby's problem in first visit that Value Vet couldn't in multiple trips.
I take Ellie to 5 Points to see Dr Smith. Ellie LOVES Dr Smith. She is always thorough and gives me good details and description about the issue. I feel like my Vet truly cares about my dog and is more up to date with medicine and procedure than my last vet. Overall, I am very pleased with 5 Points and more importantly, with Dr Stacy Smith!
Best vet I’ve ever been to. I’m new to Nashville and just got a new pup. I’ve been to many vets with countless of other animals and this one is by far the best. They took such good care of him, it was super clean and homey, and they answered all of my worried mom questions. I’d recommend them to anyone.
I am new to East Nashville, and took my cat to 5 Points Animal Hospital yesterday. Seriously, it was the most thorough exam my cat has ever had,...plus the first one where she remained calm, and relaxed. (I credit the staff with that!) Unbelievable! Dr. Janet was amazing and the support staff was wonderful. My cat is young and healthy, and I appreciate that they honored my wishes to forgoe the "routine blood work". The workup incuded the exam and nail & matte trim, and 3 yr shots (my choice). I am super pleased with the clinic (clean & updated) and the staff, as well as the superb care. I definitely made the right choice!! I am HIghly recommending this clinic!!
Cheers from a visiting vet that understands 5 star reviews. You're place looks great! Best to you!
Dr. Zuber is awesome! We love coming to 5 points! These vets are incredibly honest and fair with the prices. They take the extra time with each animal and make sure you and your animal are comfortable. The staff is always gentle, kind, and super sweet!!! It is generally easy to get in within a day or two. BUT definitely make an appointment because they are super busy!
My dog, Gibson, has developed several different health problems in the past year. Throughout this time, Dr. Grace, Dr. Stein, and the staff at 5 Points have been incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and responsive to the needs of me, my wife, and our pet. Dr. Grace has repeatedly impressed me, not only through the treatment that she provides in the office, but through the time that she devotes to the treatment of our dog long after our visit. While adjusting medications for his epilepsy she repeatedly consulted with a neurologist, and called me on a weekly basis to discuss changes in the dosage of his medications. Recently, while Gibson was in for a minor dental procedure, Dr. Grace and Dr. Stein were attentive enough to realize there was a bigger problem, and discovered a tumor days before it ruptured, possibly saving his life. The tumor was removed at another facility and Dr. Grace contacted the specialist at that facility on multiple occasions to check in on him. It has been great to have access to Dr. Stein, a veterinary dental specialist. Dr. Stein has performed two procedures on our dog, and has been friendly, caring, and accommodating to our schedule on both occasions. The prices are reasonable and the veterinarians and staff at 5 Points are the best that I have ever experienced, and I’ve been to a lot of vets over the past ten years. When we walk into the office, the staff recognizes Gibson, and they greet us by name. I recommend 5 Points to all of my friends, and I will not take our dog anywhere else. - Daniel Howard & Megan Pacella
I give this place 5 Stars due to the fact that our sweet kitty had a blockage in his urethra (which was an emergency) as soon as I got there with him they took him straight back and performed a surgery on him. I would also like to say that Jodie and Shane that work there are freaking amazing people and truly care for the animals that come there for care. Everyone I have come in contact with have been so good to our kitties. I will not take our babies any where else except to 5 Points bc they are on point
First quality veterinarian.
I took my dog here for the first time last week and it was wonderful. My dog is very large (too large in fact, she's now on a diet!) and skittish when it comes to examinations. Dr. Regan and the rest of the staff were wonderful and made sure to keep her calm while they performed their work. I highly recommend Dr. Regan and 5 Points Animal Hospital. We will be coming back!
love 5 Points been taking my dogs there for years even though I don't live in the area...Dr. Grace does great job of making you feel like your pets are her pets
Good people and nice place to take your pets...
They always take care of Cooper and Preston. Dr Grace #1
They give the best care to my fur baby. ❤
5 Points is awesome: state of the art building and equipment, friendly staff, amazing vet!
My dogs aren't properly socialized and they were the only ones willing to work them without using sedatives around Nashville. Thank you for giving my girls a chance to see their sweet side (:
My husband took my dog into the vet for parvo ( he is a truck driver and they forced him to stay for 5 hours). A few weeks prior my male dog from the same litter had caught it too, not neglectful he is on the road Im not and they were given to us sick and we did not know. My vet charged me 300 my dog had 3 bags of Saline and antibiotic and an anti nausea. This ludicris vet my husband is at now wants to charge 600 for this antibitic and that one and oral medication and saline. His dog is not as advanced in her parvo as mine was and he pulled through on the minimal treatment. When I asked the vet to tell me why hers was sooo excessively expensive the woman yelled " take her to your vet then " my husband being in Tennessee and me in Missouri. This vet is trying to milk money out of my husband she is rude and she according to my husband didnt seem to be too nice with our dog WOULD NEVER RECCOMEND THIS SCAMMING VET TO ANYONE.
Absolutely the best Vet I have ever had. They take such good care of my dogs and its obvious that they truly care about you. Prices are fair and the service is great. I highly recommend this office. Dr. Grace and Dr. Regan are amazing. If I have an issue that requires immediate attention they are always willing to squeeze us in.
Amazing and friendly staff! They make me feel at home every time I am there and easily make my pets feel special. Easy to make an appointment and always get back to me quickly with test results, appt reminders, etc.
Very caring people who obviously love animals. The best in Nashville.
Friendly staff
Recently moved to the East Nashville area, had a urinary issue with my dog and they're close to home and had appointments available. Great experience with friendly staff, however they definitely do upsale. They wanted to do do balddar x-rays and to sterily remove urine instead of the catch method, using the excuse that's she's so small they might night be able to get urine from her just going. I felt so pressured and didn't truly understand why the doc wanted to give such a lengthy treatment plan for what seemed like just a UTI. I won't return because overall, while my dog was well taken care of I felt the doc was constantly trying to tell me there might be more wrong but it wasn't truly because there might an issue and he was concerned, just that they're upselling. He even called after getting the urine culture back and asked me to bring her in for more although the urine culture showed bacteria for a UTI.
Dr. Grace is an angel to my fur babies. The clinic is well kept and the staff is friendly and attentive. Nothing but good things to say.
Great animal hospital with amazing vets! I've taken my pup here for checkups, shots, and surgery and have had only positive experiences. The vets, techs, and receptionists are all super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone in Nashville, especially if you're in the east nasty/5 points area!
Soo bad my dog died they couldn’t save him he wasn’t that badly hurt
The staff was friendly and professional
Your furry loved ones deserve the highest quality care.
Knowledgeable, friendly technicians and veterinarians who stay abreast of most recent treatment options and pet health recommendations
Excellent (if a little pricy) vet.
From the techs to the vets, everyone does a great job. Very personable and knowledgeable. They even noticed a potential health issue that our previous vet missed. I feel much more comfortable about the health of my pet with this group.
Amazing staff and very thorough
Best vet experience I’ve ever had! From the moment we walked in my pups were loved on and treated with care. Before they started examining the dogs the vet and her tech sat on the floor for about 15 minutes petting my two pups and giving them treats, so they’d feel comfortable when everything started. 10/10!
5 Points Animal Hospital is the most caring, thoughtful, and empathetic veterinarian hospital I have ever dealt with in 14 years. The staff is friendly, loyal, and very courteous. Dr. Grace is the sweetest and most caring veterinarian my Alaskan Malamute has ever had. She is highly intelligent and her follow-through is impeccable. My dog is lucky to have her as a caring professional. Please give the doctors at 5 Point Animal Hospital your business. You will not regret it. I definitely recommend this veterinarian hospital.
I want to recognize Dr. Regan for his excellent care of my beloved German Shepherd Jack. Dr. Regan is an excellent, thorough, caring Doctor who made Jack and our whole family feel comfortable, well-informed and cared for. We appreciate his dog-side manner! I would highly recommend Dr. Reagan and his team. Jeannine Haney
This place is amazing! Shannon and Dr. Regan took such good care of my dog. In response to a previous review I love that they "up sell" aka offer everything you could possibly need for your pet. My dog had fleas and they gave me a shampoo that relieved the itching right away and I can tell my little girl is feeling better just hours after our visit. Considering the amazing care it's a bargain!
I called and spoke with Megan wanting to get my cats nails removed and although they don’t provide those services she was very helpful and informative about helping me fix the problem I have with my kittens. Very polite, patient and great customer service.
The amazing doctors at 5points have kept my entire weenie family healthy and happy for many many generations now!! We are all so lucky to have DrGrace and DrZuber in our lives!! ❤️ I am so grateful for their love and care and professionalism and extensive knowledge!! I am afraid to leave Nashville because I am afraid to loose this team
I’ve been taking my dog to this vet since I got him 3 years ago! I’ve received top notch care from the techs and vets. I wouldn’t bring my dog to any other vet in town! I highly recommend 5 Points Animal Hospital.
Superior pet care with a staff that goes beyond expectations.
5 Points Animal Hospital and Dr. Janet Grace are the preferred veterinary team of Nashville K-9. They are so good that they stay on call for us 24/7. This is an amazing bunch. Not only are they patient, but they are also very knowledgeable about a variety of dogs, including the working ones.
