We are RV'er. So it is difficult to find a vet, with good price, much less a good vet. What we found at southern hills is a Super Vet Team. Our small dog got into a small accident with another dog. Things happen like they all do. Susan went in at 5, closing time. Doc., receptionist, and 2 Tech's stayed to take care of her. Amazing people and place. The cost of service in Phoenix, AZ., would cost over a 1,000 dollars, but at Southern, less than $250. They also clip her fur, nails and insure both Susan and Tilly were comfortable. The vet and her staff were so kind and caring when I made the decision to end my dog's suffering. She explained the entire process and even took him out to the car so he would fall asleep thinking that he was going for a ride. Just moved to the area a few months ago and didn't feel comfortable with other vet places I went to. This place is wonderful. They take such wonderful care of my boys and I couldn't be happier. They took their time to answer all my questions and when I had a concern the next day they got me right in that same day even though it was late in the day. If you are looking for a very wonderful veterinary service, Southern Hills in Custer is definitely the place to go.
