I wish there was a negative button. I had my dog here and I ended up switching vets. They told me that she didn't have a UTI when she really did. I took her to another vet and they said she did have one. They had me leave my dog there for 7 1/2 hours and I had to call and ask about her. The other vet that I took her to let me stay there with her and the total visit was about 45 minutes and it only took them not even 10 minutes to get her to pee. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I recommend Creekside. They are now the vet I take my dog to.

Definitely would not recommend this vet to anyone. We brought our dog in for a simple haircut. Since work starts at 6:00 am, the vet told us to drop our dog off in their holding kennel on the right side of the building. (We called a week in advance to make sure this would work) we dropped our dog off at 5:30am and when we got to the vet at 3:30 pm to pick him up they told us “we haven’t seen him all day” after telling them to look in the shed THAT THEY TOLD US TO PUT HIM IN we found him.. there were no windows or anything to circulate air when we pulled him out do the tin shed it was 93* outside. Luckily he didn’t die after spending over 8 hours in there. But after that they made time to do the haircut and still charged us FULL price. Absolutely a rip off and we will never bring another pet here again.

This is the best vet ever! I know when I take my dog to Lakeview her comfort and health are the highest priority. I know I can call them anytime with questions or concerns and they will everything they can to help. And their excellent care is reasonable priced! I moved to Minnesota and had to take my dog to the vet in Minneapolis. They said her surgery would be around $3,000 and she would have to get a second surgery a month later. I brought her back to Lakeview and they were able to do everything for under $500!!! I now will drive my dog back to Mitchell just so she can go to Lakeview.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I've never been treated so poorly. Lady at the front desk was very disrespectful. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Building is a bit run down, but the people are extremely nice and knowledgeable. They are very good about translating medical mumbo jumbo into something we regular people can understand.

My Dog was neutered here and it went well. They were very considerate when my dog had to be put down. They let us be with him as was put down. I would recommend this place to anyone, as they are considerate of your feelings.

Lakeview isn't just a business. They care about your animal, not just for it. And they care about and for the pet owner too, not about making a buck. Recently, we had to put a dog down, who had been part of our family for 8 years. The vet laid out the medical situation, explaining the dog's medical situation, and the relative costs involved. (Euthanasia was the least expensive.) When I asked the vet what she would do if the dog were hers, she said she'd put the dog down too. She sat with us, petting the dog as we wept over it, taking time out of her busy schedule to comfort us. She stayed with us as long as we wished to stay, hugging each of left. A few days later, we got a condolence card, signed by each staff member. Lakeview puts the "care" into veterinary care. I'll never go anywhere else.
