My little Chihuahua went into labor over the Christmas holiday which also was our first major snow storm in SD this year. Roads were closed, no travel advised and my baby was having complications. No one could/would help us. The Dr. from Huron Veterinary Hospital braved the weather to meet us there super late in the evening. With the Dr.s help my little girl had 7 healthy pups!!!! The next following day mama came down with scary high fever and infection. She was almost ready to give up. Once again the staff at the hospital said bring her in right away...on a weekend! The only reason mama made it through this is because of the care she received. She went on to nurse the pups the entire time. THANK YOU HURON VET FOR SAVING MY BABY AND HER 7 BABIES!!!!!!
